Cons: The first night we were given a room which was extremely noisy. We could hear the noise from a club and we had a sleepless night. We complained the next morning but didn't even get an apology from the receptionist who obviously knew all about the noise. The other room we were given was fine and we had no further issues.

Cons: Nice building, but next to bussy highway; cant sleep with open window / balcony. Also, airplane noise. So not quit at all. Also the beautiful swimmingpool is full of chlorine / javel. It stinks and itches as a consequency. Breakfast: fresh fruit and vegetables are scarcely compared to the abundancy of over sugared products.

Pros: The hotel was an oasis in the middle of a chaotic but wonderful Marrakech. The best thing we did on this trip was stay at Les Jardins De La Médina. The room was wonderful, the pool and gardens were incredible, and most importantly, the staff were the best. Since the moment we arrived they trated us with great kindness and were always so willing to help us with anything we needed. I 100% recommend everyone to stay here!

However inside the hotel it is an oasis of calm. It is a very well designed with excellent facilities. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are of a very high standard - spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I recommend the omelette which is cooked in front of your eyes and consequently beautifully fresh. There are a number of restaurants within the hotel - all serving food of a high standard in lovely, different locations e.g. the garden or rooftop.

Pros: The location is right near the Souks, so you can visit them as many times as you like without walking too far. The Hotel has 3 swimming pools and lovely grounds, but it is NOT the Mamounia. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Breakfast and the staff in the Dining Room were delightful. We had a Mini Suite and it was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. More importantly, the air conditioning was great, lol. The bars in the hotel were fun as were the two restaurants.

Pros: The location is right near the Souks, so you can visit them as many times as you like without walking too far. The Hotel has 3 swimming pools and lovely grounds, but it is NOT the Mamounia. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Breakfast and the staff in the Dining Room were delightful. We had a Mini Suite and it was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. More importantly, the air conditioning was great, lol. The bars in the hotel were fun as were the two restaurants.
Cons: The Hotel is on a raunchy street and the front of it is really unimpressive; but, when you enter the lobby, is it large and the entire first floor of the hotel surrounds a large swimming pool and is more like a Riad then a Hotel, which is good. Once inside the Hotel, you will find nothing negative.

Pros: Highly recommend staying in a Junior Suite at the Es Saadi Palace. Large studio-like apartment style rooms with a walk in robe and his hers bathroom set up with spa. When booking with the Palace you also get access to the gym and indoor pool / sauna. The pool and gardens were great, and it was nice to be able to have a pool big enough for a proper swim. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and steam rooms. The staff are excellent and the breakfast choice was incredible. We ate in the Egyptian bar and the beautiful Moroccan restaurant, service was exceptional although the food was a little underwhelming for the price, but we didn't want to leave the resort, so felt it was worth it for the convenience. The pool bar was great for lunch, and they also serve you at your lounger if you want a drink while sunbathing.

Cons: Staff are very charming and helpful, but there could be more staff/better organisation at breakfast. The first morning we were seated at a table which was already in use, we were then re-seated to a dirty table and asked to wait for it to be clean, even though there were plenty of clean tables available. The second day we were again seated at a dirty table which took ages for them to clean (and then they left dirty napkins on the corner!) and after waiting 20 mins for coffee, they eventually bought 3! I also expect more bottled water to be provided in a country where you cannot drink tap water, especially in a 5* hotel - one small bottle each is not enough.

Pros: When we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed by how nice we were greeted and how attentive the staff were to the children travelling with, a group of 13 people. Staff was very quick to respond to our queries/questions/requests, we had plenty of water/soda provided to us; and most importantly, the villa was very clean and tidy. It was more than what we could ask for. Staying in a 4 bedroom villa, we were also impressed by how clean the pool was - children were all very happy. Breakfast was really tasty too, with a lot of choices for the adults as well as cereal and pastries selection for the children Couldn’t praise the hotel enough - especially when they bargained for us for the horse ride and cars. It was really really good - a definite stay again for us!

Cons: Improvement possibilities: The Restaurant is unfortunately not the best, Marrakesh has a lot of amazing restaurants and foods and the food at the hotels' restaurant is just typically hotel food, a bit to dry and a bit to expensive (compared to other local restaurants). The opening hours of the Gym and Spa should really be extended, everything has it's own opening hours (Pool, Sauna, Gym, Breakfast..) and you can't easily go to the Gym or Spa before Breakfast or an outside tour. The lifts could be newer, they're a bit old and not as chic as the rest is.

Pros: Loved the general feel of the Riad. It felt very authentic - everything from the layout to the decoration was really unique & beautiful. We took so many photos just of the reception area, it's ridiculous. The room itself was gorgeous - we requested twin beds (even though there'd only been a double available on the website when we booked) and they made sure we got one - the room was really nicely decorated, nice and cool, and the bathroom was lovely. We treated ourselves to a traditional spa package while we were there, which was a really nice bonus - it was great value for money and really relaxing (we don't do spa treatments particularly back home, but it certainly seemed like a great experience to us!) The hammam is definitely worth doing, it made my skin feel amazing! We didn't have the breakfast in the riad, but it did look lovely as we passed it in the mornings, and the location of the Riad is close enough to the bustle of the Medina that it's really easy to either pick something up from a local stall or head to one of the many cafes which open for breakfast on the Place Jemaa El Fnaa (only 5 minutes walk away). Whenever we asked questions about the city (touristy things to do, whether we should book a day-trip further afield, whether it was sensible to change money up), the staff were really helpful and friendly, and gave us tonnes of advice including a really great personal recommendation for an off-the-beaten-track Riad to get a great traditional lunch. Overall, we were massively impressed - thank you so much for having us!

Cons: This isn't a thing that we didn't like, but it's just worth noting that the spa only has one treatment room, so if you're going as a pair I'd recommend either booking 2 slots one after the other (and then one person chills in the room for a bit), or taking a book down with you (that you don't mind getting a bit oily after the hammam!)

Next to a Mall, lots of restaurants in local area. Some of the staff were very nice, and made experience nicer for example some of the pool area staff I think his name Badr pronounced something like Badder very friendly and gave good service, and some of the breakfast staff team too. The cook that made the omelettes during our stay 11-15th October was very nice too. The concierge team gave an excellent service and the lady at security desk who wears glasses was very nice. The 2 bedroom suite was clean and spacious and good for a group of friends or a family of 4/5 depending on ages of children. Beds were comfortable. The money exchange rate at hotel was quite competitive rates for a hotel to offer.

Cons: I was very upset about how I was treated initially when I turned up with a Moroccan friend. He was treated appallingly as a second class citizen. He essentially wasn't allowed in the hotel.
Also I had to request a room change as the first one was so noisy from a nearby nightby nightclub.

Cons: Check-in and Check out For us we were not seen to straight away when we arrived, we were told to take a seat and we will be called and tea would be brought over. No tea arrived and then we saw staff standing around and not calling us over to check us in So we had to go up to the desk again to check in and get some help after a long journey that was disappointing. Check-out was not a quick process after paying up front in advance. You have to wait for someone to check your room to see if you used the mini bar, fair enough in a hotel that moves at speedier pace. This can take awhile so make sure you give check out process at least 10 mins.

Cons: The rooms weren't supplied with an iron so needed to request one to be bought to room, staff would then let themselves in to take the iron back. I think the hotel only has 3 irons and ironing boards. In the listing it states the spa has a hot tub-this is untrue and please dont expect to have a sauna together if going as a couple all facilities are strictly separate males have their sauna and females have their sauna. Breakfast wasn't great for me, my partner enjoyed them however chicken, potatoes, meatballs and soup wasn't to my liking. The scrambled egg was always cold and the salmon looked plastic where it had been out all morning. Finally watch out for the birds who happily sit on the bread pecking away at it. The swimming pool is extremely cold. Had trouble with a trip we booked privately and hotel staff wouldn't call the mobile number only land lines. I wouldn't rate this hotel as 5* maybe 3-4

Pros: This time I stayed in Essaadi hotel, not the palace, for four night in March and i found it very good as always because i satay in this hotel when ever i visit Marrackech but i also stay in other hotels in the city. The location of Essaadi is very good if you do not like isolation from the city actions. The best in Essaadi, in my opinion, is the walk path that connect the hotel to the palace its more than 700 m long full of varieties of citrus, palm, olive, pomegranate trees. I usually take a walk on the path, in the morning before breakfast where the smell of orange blossom fill the srrounding. Breakfast improved a lot with many varieties and good preparation. Staff were very friendly and happy to help but need appreciation. Restaurant , i tried grilled seabass For dinner and it was very good but slow service though. I found The pool was heated to 26 degrees although i did not use. Room was always cleaned and prepared well and when i asked for some roses in a vase it was put in my room without extra cost. A basket of fruit was in the room when i checked in. The hotel was happy to keep my luggage for couple of days when i travelled away from the city. The new manager is always walking around and talking to the guests.
Its good value for money as four star hotel, and i would look forward to stay in this hotel in near future.

This place has definitely seen better days but is comfortable although for morocco it’s a little bit expensive for some of the lack of organization at check in, the dated furniture and just general revamping this place needs. On the flip side, beautiful grounds, honest housekeeping that found a fair amount of money in my dry cleaning and returned it! Friendly staff although check in and check out while not a nightmare was not well organized. Room service and pool food was way below average. Generally good but far from amazing and left a lot to be desired.

The terrace is a great place to relax and unwind from the chaotic city. The location is great very close to the Médina. It’s a bit hard to find as the coordinates on google maps are not right. The staff from the riad gave us very easy instruction to go and come back and it’s very easy to find once you’ve been there once. WiFi working very well too.

Pros: We liked the location because its a little away from the square so it's pretty quiet and relaxing. The square is about 10 to 15 minutes walk and Jardin Majorelle is about 20 minutes away. Along the streets there's plenty of small shops selling necessities like water and tidbits. The terrace is lovely and has great potential for a nice hang out place but wished it was cleaner. Breakfast was simple but still good. Our room was cleaned everyday and we loved coming back to the room at the end of a tiring day. Fatima the manager was always kind and helpful.

Cons: I guess it has nothing to do with the Riad but there's always boys standing outside or along the alleyways, demanding to show you the way to the Riad. And their starting price is 50 dirhams, haha. You can choose to ignore of course but they'll follow you and still ask you for money. Honestly, not a good look for the riads located in this area because it just deters people from staying in this lovely place.

However they use the cheapest "beldi" (peasant) olive oil in the moroccan market which smells like old trousers (fermented and oxidised) and which destroys the taste of the very good fresh vegetables and wastes the chef's efforts. Cons: The hotel is very old and dirty. The chair in my bedroom was broken, All the door on the wardrobes were falling off. The terrace door was broken and did not close. The wooden floor in the bedroom is disintegrating and lifting up. The toilet floor was dirty. All the corridors are dirty and smelly. The food in the buffet dinner was absolutely disgusting, inedible.

Cons: The hotel is very kitsch and from another era in terms of decor. It is worn out and although they seem to do their best at maintaining the public areas the rooms have simply had it. Linoleum - phoney wood - floors are all damaged and curled up and furniture varnish and paint (especially in bathroom) is dead with a big D. Whoever decorated this place should run away to a desert island or go meditate up the Khyber pass and not come back - in the interest of humanity. Given the age of the place, he's hopefully retired away..

Cons: Hotel is a in a great need of a total renovation. Like this is definitely not a 5star. Thanks to the very good personell and good food your stay is overall pleasent. Would be nice to "risk" a money for the one more music CD. At the pool we were listening same music all day long for all 8 days.

Pros: The beds were pretty comfy. Granted I was extremely tired from a very full day so I passed out quickly. And the bottled water was pretty cheap 25dhs. Close to the airport 5-10 min drive. DONT let the airport taxis try to charge you 200dhs!!! I fell for it because when I landed I wasn't sure if you could bargain with the taxis but you can. Them making you pay this much is one of the biggest scams. It should be around 50dhs.

Pros: 1) Good to relax from the hustle and bustle of medina. At the pool in a modest luxury. 2) Close to the hotel in a walking distance there is Menara Mall. Nothing to shop actually, but good place to have a dinner in a food court for 5 - 10 € (half price of the hotel). You won´t get special quality, but in the hotel neither. There is a Carrefour supermarket, too, to buy drinks and snacks.

Cons: Firstly, weeks before my arrival I tried many times to get in contact with the hotel about their airport pick up service since I had selected it. I tried once a week for 4 weeks to tell them yet again I wanted it and my flight time. Not once did I ever get a reply. And when I arrived they were nowhere to be found.
Their wifi was awful downstairs. Couldn't enjoy talking to my parents down by the pool when I've been gone for so long. Had to go upstairs to my room which was ok since the ac worked well just wish I had been able to be at the pool. When headed to the Medina the man behind the front desk gave really bad instructions that were not correct. Along the way I had to ask several locals who ended up getting me to the right spot - the hotel doesn't provide maps. When checking out a different man working the front desk demanded I owed 60+dhs for "other fees" with the hotel. I asked him to show me where and he couldn't find where. I showed him my receipt from Kayak that I owed 0 and he said I still did and I couldn't leave. Not sure if this was a scam but it ticked me off because if this was true, it wasn't not brought to my attention on Kayak nor when I checked in. I still have a weird feeling since he wasn't able to show me. When I asked the same man what the price was for the bus from Marrakech to Merzouga he kept insisting there wasn't such bus when I knew for a fact there was. He then gave me "directions" on how to walk to the bus station since I didn't want to take yet another scamming taxi. The directions he gave went in the complete opposite way when I double checked on Google Maps before exiting- since the other guys directions were off. Not happy with the staff at all.

The things more or less work but not in the manner you would expect from the good 4* hotel. The same about breakfast.

Cons: This property is not a 4 star - its it's a 3 star at best. The pictures make the hotel much bigger than it is, the rooms were sufficient, no toiletries were provided as is expected for a 4 star and when I called for an iron one was not available as they have their own laundry service- most hotels do but still offer an iron! The spa was also quite underwhelming and not at all close to the pictures. The saving grace was the lovely friendly staff and great central location

Cons: Didn’t have any irons available which was a problem, they do have a dry cleaners but charge a lot for the service and per item you want doing, plus it takes 24hrs to get your clothes back. Breakfast was just standard, not great to be honest. Service was slow at times.

Cons: Western style hotel that felt very unfriendly and anonymous. After having stayed at five different locations during our round trip in Morrocco this was the most expensive accommodation with the least service and spirit. Half of the staff seemed to be overworked by the amount of guest they have and came across quite arrogant. No towels in the room after check in and takes over an hour after asking to get them. Even when I went to the cleaning lady some rooms down the hall, she wouldn’t give me some although she had and made me wait until she would come to my room later. Wasn’t really the four star experience to sit in your room and wait until you can take a shower. I wouldn’t stay here again generally, there are much nicer places in Marrakech.
