Pros: Our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night, so unfortunately didn't have the chance to spend much time at the hotel. The night porter made a real effort to welcome us and arranged excellent room service. Everything about the property and room was great. Reception advised us very well regarding restaurants and made bookings.
Cons: I was informed immediately after making the (non-refundable) booking that the restaurant was closed for a private function on the night of our stay. Given that the restaurant will be an important factor in many guests' decisions to stay in the hotel, I recommend checking before you book. To be fair the manager did suggest alternative restaurants.

Pros: Incredible small hotel with exceptional staff, amenities, beautiful rooms, the best breakfast, fantastic location.
7,9 Good
Pros: VERY LOVELY ROOM!!!!! we love our room and we have snapped a lot of photos for our memory in the room. The bedroom is also well equipped with everything, from the preparation of the room to the friendliness of the staffs, everything was great!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about it was amazing. Despite being in the city it still managed to capture the feel of a country chateau. Staff were wonderful in all respects. Would love to return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about it is first class, yet completely unpretentious. Nobody will be disappointed. Very pleasant and friendly team. Beautiful room, fantastic dinner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with lovely garden views. An extremely large bathroom with separate shower and toilet facilities was most enjoyable. Toiletries provided were thoughtful and generous as well as the little touches of welcome macarons and departure lemon cake with drinks for our road trip was all YUM! The staff were exceptionally helpful, considerate and professional. Dinner at the Michelin Star restaurant was phenomenal. I would recommend the hotel highly for a wonderful experience and memorable stay.
Cons: I cannot imagine what guests could possibly not like about the Hotel. It is truly an exceptional establishment with an amazing compliment of staff.

Pros: One of the most unique hotels we’ve had the pleasure to visit. An old maison that has been totally renovated with high end amenities. Exquisite decor and art throughout. Air conditioning worked well in hot weather. Staff extremely accommodating; able to park our minivan on site. Breakfast was fresh and individually prepared. On our second visit we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. Highly recommend this establishment.

Pros: On site parking - a bonus in centre of Bordeaux Extremely comfortable bed & fabulous pillows Very warm welcome Lovely helpful staff - even returned an earring I left by mistake Small outside terrace Quiet location Beautiful quirky decor Gorgeous building
Cons: It was really expensive & room was very small No coffee or tea making No water provided & €6 a bottle Some design features were more ‘firm over function’ such as light switches and shower controls Breakfast - which we didn’t choose - was really expensive
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people, beautiful building and room, great home made food
Cons: Narrow entrance to get car in to parking space.
9,6 Excellent

Pros: Interior is perfect. It was a pleasure for my architectural eyes. Antonio Luppi, Eine dra, Tom Dixon’s furniture are placed in the hotel. Highly recommend. Of course it’s pricy, but design costs. Really good wine choice in minibar.

Pros: A stunning find in Bordeaux! Hotel Yndo is an outstanding Place. In our humble ( but experienced based) opinion it is one of the very best hotels in Bordeaux . Everything is perfect from start to finish. Excellent welcome by everyone at the reception. All staff are fully committed, and will go out of their way to help you out and make your time at the hotel unforgettable . They upgraded our room with kindness, and generosity . They are highly professional and again attentive to your needs. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. This is extremely rare to find that. Fine lunch , and an appreciation of excellent products is an experience in itself but when you are staying in a beautiful place such as Hotel Yndo , you really appreciate how wonderful the whole experience is . Breakfast will need a full review to itself to do it full service. Just to say, it is superb. Each room is decorated to a high standard and attention to details is present throughout. The cleaning is meticulous . Thank you to everyone one for your looking after us. We will definitely be returning and recommending this exceptional hotel in Bordeaux to all our family and friends. Not to be missed!
Cons: Everything was perfect !A

Pros: Eclectic decor, good location near 2 tram stops, nice amenities (water, snacks). Very quiet in spite of restaurants/bars nearby.
Cons: Located above a bakery; had a bit of burnt bread/flour smell. Did not see manager until we went looking for him upon checkout. No one to confer with re questions about the city. Communicated well via email but not in person.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to use! Love the convenience!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room, great location
Cons: N/a
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, and very large. The decor was done like a boutique hotel and was very eclectic. The neighbourhood was very safe and many locals were out in the bars at night and not tourists which we liked. We knew this was a room only in a building so we were not expecting any facilities as such, but it was good to have a fridge with juice, water, biscuits and cakes available. We loved the Pan Am trolley in our room, which was called Sanchez. We also had 3 large windows with balconies and black out blinds. There was a boulangerie downstairs also and a few cafes close by for breakfast.
Cons: Nothing, it was what we were expecting
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great Room Easy check in Highly recommendable. Thanks
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Jean Pierre was a great host. Very friendly and helpful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Our room was super
Cons: Our friends room was on 3rd floor with sloping ceilings . They had to be careful not to hit their heads.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location in Chartrons is fantastic for visiting Bordeaux. It is around the corner from the Garonne river and a short walk from the centre of Bordeaux. The bakery next door is also fantastic. Our room, Salmide, was amazing. It had everything we needed, the bed was extremely comfortable and the surprise view of the cathedral was fantastic. The host was very friendly and the communication was excellent throughout.
Cons: Nothing!
Hôtel Vatel - Bordeaux - Building

R3 159+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hôtel Vatel places you in the heart of Bordeaux, within a 15-minute walk of Bordeaux Wine and Trade Museum and Contemporary Art Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
6,0 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but we were not told that this is a training facility for hospitality students. With that in mind you might expect higher than average service? No, just swarms of students in front of the building and rushing down hallways to make classes, posters on walls and doors re: curriculum and advertising careers. Although the staff at reception were polite and accommodating, It was an unexpected experience.
Cons: The hotel is not in a pretty part of the town. Next time we will opt for closer to the Villiage center, within walking distance to the better restaurants, the fountains and markets.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful friendly staff and great location. Walking or using the tram into the city was easy and enjoyable. Good cafes around the hotel and not too far to town for numerous restaurants and life, and sightseeing.
Cons: Next door is some sort of sewerage and so you can get whiffs quite regularly when outside the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely hotel, close to the Cite Du Vin and the river walk / Bacalan area of Bordeaux. The hotel is aligned with the local teaching college for the hospitality industry. As a consequence, the front of house staff and people we dealt with were young, from different countries and very enthusiastic. Just delightful and very hospitable. The room was very comfortable. A lovely bathroom, with generous proportions. A comfortable bed. Very well priced. We visited in August, so a lot of local restaurants were closed. The front of house staff gave us a very good recommendation, for a local restaurant, that was open, near by.
Cons: Nothing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: quay area with shops and restaurants across the road and lovely walk along river into main part of town and short walk along river to Cite du Vin. as it's part of the hotel school majority of the staff are young, helpful and enthusiastic. The Bordeaux breakfast of baguette with cheeses, hams and jams is great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good and the presentation was beautiful. The location was perfect as we were taking a Viking cruise and we were able to just walk across the street to meet our ship. The staff was very friendly. Our experience could not have been better!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in good location and the room was modern and spacious with good aircon. The breakfast ordering system made breakfast in your room as a standard offer, which was nice treat.
Cons: The parking was not so easy as the ticket system didn't work for us and there was some confusion.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel provides an individual breakfast for each person based on their preferences which was excellent. So much nicer than the usual Buffett. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Handy for the tram but quiet.
Cons: One of our rooms had a very distinct smell of the drains which was unpleasant.
5,4 Okay
Cons: Bottle of water to drink was opened ,room near the road just heard so many noises
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was Eeco friendly. Staffs were very polite. rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. the tram station was very close.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff
7,9 Good
Pros: Quiet, clean hotel with perfect location to visit La Rochelle.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent, restaurant good
Cons: WIFI was terrible, weak and kept dropping. Our room was supposed to be Superior but it was tiny with no view.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great room comfortable bed
Cons: Service in the Bistro restaurant was very poor
7,5 Good
Pros: I asked for a quiet room and got one well away from the elevator at the end of a corridor. A bit of a hike to reception but perfect for us for our 3 night stay. Breakfast served until 10.30am which suited our late evenings out in the city and late dinners. the food being varied and plentiful with chef cooking station for omelettes etc Spar facilities looked good but we only used the pool and steam rooms and the jacuzzi one floor up on the roof. There relaxing beds for a snooze afterwards and a tea room all within the complex
Cons: Whilst the roof terrace was a romantic and lovely place to spend a few of the late hours viewing the city from 6 floors up the drinks cost are exorbitant (3 soft drinks, 1 coffee, 1 Calvados & 1 cocktail was £75.00)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The great location, the wonderful big suite (55 sqm), with two separate rooms - which could be opened up with a big double door - and en suite bathrooms. The pool area was very beautiful and had a wonderful rooftop view, but the pool (6 x 6 m) was a bit small.
Cons: A lot of steps upwards and downwards, without ramps, to get to the room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Can't be beaten in Bordeaux. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to treat themselves in Bordeaux.

Pros: Great location. Lovely city.
Cons: Gordon Ramsay restaurant was not as good as expected. Wish we had taken a walk towards the river before dinner as we found a street full of good eating places.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location Very well trained and kindfull staffs
Cons: It was a little old and small
4,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Deluxe room: Small & outdated Wall view Breakfast

Pros: Reception staff were amazing. Very hospitable, Uber friendly and helpful. Good tips for where to visit whilst in Bordeaux ranging from restaurants to cool neighbourhoods to activities. We had an amazing time in Bordeaux.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Bordeaux? This hotel features 753 square feet (70 square meters) of event facilities.
7,1 Good
Pros: Beds were great as were the adjoining rooms. Shower was amazing and rooms very spacious!
Cons: Room not very clean. 1 dirty sock found on floor behind curtain....not ours.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the design of the room and the amount of space available at the room. Baby bed was ready after requesting also spare towels for the baby, great service! My kids loved it.
Cons: Even though breakfast was included in the price, the hotel do not prepare breakfast picnic bags for the early leavers. That would be a great improvement for the establishment. Also the booking webpage says booking a spot in the parking is not possible/necessary but in reality you need to do that in advance. I finally parked outside.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: Room smaller than I thought from the pictures. Not sure if there was a restaurant there. Bar wasn't open !! I think again I wasn't sure.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very chic and comfortable - shower was amazing and bed was excellent.
Cons: Air conditioning in the room was quite noisy
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Yes. Breakfast was good service was good indeed
Cons: Nothing really.
7,5 Good
Pros: Excellent customer service. Everyone at the reception was super helpful and make you feel very welcomed. The room is generous in size and bed is comfortable. The car park is very secure and that was the whole reason why we chose the hotel.
Cons: There's nothing we don't like however, for the benefit of those thinking of booking the hotel, please bear in mind that it is a little out of the way of the main drag/old town. That said, we bought a one day tram pass and commuting was not a problem. It is a short walk to La cite du vin, and being a bit further away, it is quiet thus giving us a good night sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well appointed, spotlessly clean and a few seconds walk from the Rico. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything, the beautiful room, the elegant bath, the staff, the breakfast, the parking, and the availability of city transportation right in front of the door..
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I was worried initially about the location being "far" from the city center by foot, but I loved the location. Many eating options. A cute neighborhood near there. The Hangars right there. It was great, and the tram is right at the hotel and just a couple of stations from the city center, which is quite crowded.
Cons: I really liked everything. The breakfast was particularly good.

R2 547+
Overview Reviews
At the Best Western Grand Hotel Francais, quiet and comfortable fully-renovated 18th century mansion, you will enjoy the heart of Bordeaux, registered at the world heritage by UNESCO, its business center and cultural life. Our location is superb. We are in heart of city between Cathedral Saint André, Gambetta Square and Grand Theatre, near to walking street Porte-Dijeaux and Ste-Catherine, and tramway stop "Gambetta".
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very central location and within walking distance of most sights. Or you can take tram or riverboat. The hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard Rooms of standard size rather than large Very good breakfasts from freshly squeezed orange juice to local pastries and usual fruits and cooked breakfast Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing in particular. . ( it didn't affect us but the whole area is virtually car free. So you will probably need taxi / public transport to get there.) If there were English news programmes on tv we didn't find them . One of the two showers a bit temperamental
10,0 Excellent
Pros: superb quiet central location Amazing generous breakfast Helpful courteous staff Room and hotel provided all necessary amenities. Comfortable bed/ good toilet design/ good use of room space Pastries and apples and water daily
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There was a wide choice of food for breakfast which was tasty and plenty to eat. The location was brilliant as it was only a few mins walk from tourist spots. It was also quiet both inside and out as it was located in a small street. The staff were very helpful and spoke English! The shower was brilliant too.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the small lift particularly with large bags.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location to the city situated in traffic free street & good breakfast
Cons: Bedroom very small
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location in old town. All pedestrian areas. Highly recommend!!!
Cons: View from hotel room was not great but that was expected.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Well above expectations all the way around but the breakfast was spectacular! Never seen an included breakfast so lavish!! Breakfast was not only delicious but plentiful with every food group represented in abondance. Decor was adorable, cozy, and tasteful. What a pleasant surprise!
5,8 Okay
Pros: The entrance to the hotel was lovely with a delightful grand staircase. The staff were friendly and happy to help when there was an issue.
Cons: The bedroom was a little disappointing as the decor looked as if it was trying to be modern but which already looked tired. Our bathroom smelt of pee when we got there and required a second round of cleaning. Even though it was much better after the cleaners had been again, there was still a faint smell. Thankfully we were only there for one night. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing as the coffee was awful, oranges were not fresh, first batch of croissants were too dry, and no warm options. However, there was plenty of choice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Hotel staff was great. Rooms and bed were great. The breakfast which was included was delicious.
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is great, close to shopping, Breakfast was lovely and had many selections to pick from. The rooms were contemporary and clean and big enough.
Cons: Although the location of this property is wonderful, there is NO place to put your car to empty luggage. The streets do not allow to park any where to unload. We did so illegally! The lot for parking is 5 blocks away and if you have a bit of baggage you will have to wait in this lot for the 1 elevator to stop on your floor hoping there is no one else on the elevator so you can get in. It took forever for our entire party to go to the main level(street). They were 5 levels down. There is no valet at the property. That was also a negative! This hotel was super busy and there was 1 young girl to handle it all. Frustrating for her and us as well. The air conditioning works on a key card. Fabulous for savings electric, but not so great to cool down a sunny room. I recommend the hotel if you travel light and not during hot weather!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect.
Cons: The variety of breakfast could be better. Unfortunately, I found a couple of mosquitoes and fly in a restaurant and at the top of the breakfast cake!!

Pros: Location! Location! Location! The mini apartment is lovely. The lady in charge, Séverine, is very helpful. The owner, Pierre, is barely there but present if needed. Could benefit from a thorough house cleaning. Otherwise, very nice.
Cons: House keeping was not up to standards. Dust on radiators, around plugs where digital devices are being charged and overall tops of tables and library shelving. Tv remotes were challenging. After being mentioned, some of these were addressed.

Pros: Lovely small hotel, good location with very friendly staff

7,5 Good
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: Noice from street
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very central and only a short walk from the cathedral and other main sights. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was good value. The secure parking is very close and well worth booking.
Cons: We stayed on the top floor and there is no lift, so it is quite a long climb with suitcases. But this is a characterful old property and so it's no problem if you are reasonably fit.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location and parking were great
Cons: If you have a room facing the street you may need the earplugs provided.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and the nice, welcoming staff.
Cons: The bed was ok; not super comfortable but not awful. And the hallway smelles like cigarette smoke in the morning.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Arty part of town very central, charming building, boutique hotel feel. Friendly helpful staff.. very satisfied with our stay.
Cons: Closed until 3.30 pm so we had to kill time, but such a lovely place.. worth the wait.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Good breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, nice host, genuin apartment
Cons: Very pricy despite very nice hospitality
6,7 Good
Pros: Good breakfast and nice to be served at the table as opposed to self-service. Great location - handy for the museums, restaurants and city centre. Double washbasins in spacious bathroom.
Cons: We booked a suite which was really just a good sized room. Rooms are described as air-conditioned whereas the portable machine could not be used whilst the room was occupied due to the noise. As reception was closed between 12.30 and 15.30, we were unable to store our luggage until our departure for the airport so had to drag a large suitcase around the town. Room was exposed to flat opposite so had to keep shutters closed and light on - some semi-opaque or voile curtains would have afforded more privacy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place! We were given the junior suite at the top of the building. Absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. Fridge, kettle, wine glasses, opener, coffee maker provided. Gregory couldn't have been nicer. There is a private garage for 4 cars. You need to request a space for €15 per day. We only stayed one night so that was fine but could be expensive if staying longer. Light but lovely breakfast provided..
Cons: Nothing really!
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was very central and ideal for exploring the old town
Cons: The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was very noisy it made it difficult to sleep. The location was ideal very central for exploring the old town.

Pros: Overall cleanliness...the whole place was spotlessly clean and as one other reviewer noted smelt like a Spa! Beautiful decor too! Location was excellent! It was very peaceful...which is why i would have liked to relax and unwind with a glass of wine longer than 8 pm! Breakfast was delicious!
Cons: Although staff very polite didn't exactly stretch to give five star customer service. Lots of notices everywhere with don't do.... No lift. As a 67 year old a little daunting. The terrace was wonderful but bar closed at 8 pm. We weren't allowed our own drinks so nothing after that. As a single elderly traveller i was looking forward to unwinding in the beautiful garden.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience was great, the staff were so lovely, fabulous breakfast with amazing bread and croissants. The hotel is in a very convenient location, very clean and we especially enjoyed sharing a bottle of the house wine which Was served to us in the garden. We asked a member of staff if the hotel was family run as they were all engaged in ensuring everyone had a great experience....surprisingly it's not....just shows how great the culture is!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything! A small boutique hotel in a great location in Bordeaux with lots of attention to detail. A lovely outdoor terrace area for chilling out with a glass of wine (or two!) In the evening. Already booked to return!
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect assistance either for finding a parking for the car as the whole city centre was blocked for on going works as also spoiling us to come back from rhe door and open a bottle of rose for us in the afternoon so we could enjoy the quietat and provansal chick of the beautiful garden in the heart if the city centre. Thank you for that!

Pros: A super little hotel, full of charm. Spacious shower and quality products. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing!!
7,9 Good
Pros: Very clean and well decorated . Staff generally friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast for 12€ extra.
Cons: This hotel has a policy that guests are forbidden from drinking wine inside their own guest bedroom unless it has been purchased from the hotel. We were advised of this in emphatic terms and we obeyed the rule. We have never encountered such a rule in other hotels. Also the bathroom in our room was very small and cramped.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very chic
Cons: There wasn’t anything to not like
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely small hotel. Peaceful, al fresco breakfast in leafy courtyard and I loved the eclectic soft furnishings and bric-a-brac. The breakfast cost 12 Euros and, personally I found it perfect. Freshly squeezed OJ, fresh croissants and bread. Fresh
Cons: Unfortunately we were given a room where the air con didn’t work, so had 2 sleepless nights before they moved us on our last night to one with working AC, which meant we had a good night’s sleep before flying home the next morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a room off the terrace which meant that we could have breakfast on our own small patio and drinks there on the balmy evenings. We were there in 40 degree heat and the airconditioning was fantastic and very quiet. We also liked the breakfast.
Cons: Internet availability was good but not great for working remotely.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Don't think anything was to my liking! Air conditioning was working... but needed.
Cons: Very unwelcoming entrance. Obvious need for security with code locks and video cameras. Code changed without informing guests. No staff after 8 pm. Small room and bathroom without ventilation. No parking. Difficult to find using Sat Nav.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was exactly as I would expect for a Best Western spotlessly clean and well run. The room was extremely well appointed and the bed super comfortable and quiet which was most welcome. Breakfast had everything we wanted and the service in the breakfast room was very friendly. Most of all Maria in reception went the extra mile and is a real credit to the hotel she helped us with a restaurant recommendation which was spot on for our requirements and we had a superb meal.
Cons: Finding our way to the hotel in our car was a little "hairy" as it I was in a pedestrian zone in the centre of town which was a little daunting but otherwise location was perfect for the centre of Bordeaux and all the sites and great restaurants especially if you are using local transport.

Cons: The full breakfast for 17E was a glamorous continental breakfast, no hot food. We couldn’t get or buy just a croissant, but pastries and croissants were offered later for free. No ice available. No bar or lounge, just the small room they call a lounge/bar which is used for breakfast. Rooms are very small. We got the larger comfort room and it was small. No where to store clothes. We lived out of our suitcase for 3 days. No upgrade offered because we didn’t book through their website

Pros: Everything
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern hotel inside, great staff, room good, breakfast very good (apart from mediocre hot breakfast), tram passes outside the hotel to take you to the centre (although currently replaced by busses due to problem with the road), safe underground garage parking provided you get there early enough (you can’t reserve a place), superb broadband - best I have ever experienced, near to the main railway station, reasonable price. Recommend FuFu noodle restaurant (open all day) on Rue Saint-Remi, at the back of the Place de la Bourse.
Cons: Not in the nicest part of Bordeaux, half hour walk to centre, aircon in room didn’t work. If you want to eat between 14.00 and 19.00 you need to go to the restaurants towards the City du Vin.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel very good
Cons: Area rough - didn't feel walking late at night

Pros: Hotel is easy to find, very close to the station and to the river banks from which one can go downtown. The room had a, much appreciated, king size bed. Staff was very nice and provided space to safely store my bike during the night.
Cons: It's probably not the fanciest hotel in town, but for the price I paid, it would be unfair to complain.

Cons: The above.

6,7 Good
Pros: Location Able to have and include breakfast on the premises
Cons: The room was small - no fridge to keep anything cool. No provision to make a cup of tea - coffee. Guess this was reflected in the cost but not able to know this at the time of booking. May have requested an upgrade.

Pros: nice bedrooms clean
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Very small rooms
7,5 Good
Pros: Convenient location, clean and comfortable room
8,2 Excellent
Cons: Overall a nice stay at this ibis in Bordeaux, however we asked to be moved to a different room on the second day as the first one was too hot to sleep (around 26 degrees C). The staff told us that the air conditioning is set by the hotel and is currently on “warm” only (I guess given the season). However the second room was much more pleasant in terms of temperature.
7,1 Good
Pros: Excellent location to tourist attraction, eateries and shopping
Cons: No refrigerator on room, couldn't locate any English t.v. channels apart from US investment programs
6,3 Good
Pros: Quiet rooms, comfy beds and thick curtains to block the sun in the morning.
Cons: Firstly I had to move rooms as my room smelt like sewerage it was disgusting! The cleaner must have noticed it as the bathroom drain was pulled apart and left like that. Once I was given a new room I couldn’t even have a shower as the hot water was out in the entire hotel... so I had a full day of sight seeing with no shower. As compensation I was only offered a free breakfast but I should’ve had much more than that.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the hotel was near the center of the city.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Everything. Good location. Helpful staff at front desk. Rooms clean and very quiet. Would definitely recommend.
