Cons: Bus from airport is very cheap (€3 for 2 people) and stops 100 yards from hotel BUT gets horrifically crowded and very difficult to get on and off with luggage. Hotel has an arrangement with a limo company who provide a chauffeur driven limo to the airport for €45 (normal taxi cost is €60) Air con in the room had been turned off which made it uncomfortably warm. No carpets

Extra: We had a very early morning train so we had to check out at 5 a.m. , they arrange a taxi for us and they gave us breakfast 'on-the-go', since we couldn't have the breakfast at the hotel.

Cons: Booked 2 rooms. Accidentally booked one room without cancellation option. I immediately contacted hotel about my mistake but wouldn’t change my booking without the cancellation fee of 350 AUD. Mistake couldn’t be more obvious as I booked the 2 rooms at exactly the same time. I understand there is a policy and it was my mistake from the beginning, but no flexibility from their end made my stay at the hotel uncomfortable even before I arrived.

Cons: This hotel is about 600 metres from Gare St.Jean which is the terminus for the 30'shuttle from the airport (€14 return). The tram line 'C' stop is right outside hotel (€5 / 24hrs rechargeable). The rooms are well soundproofed and buffet breakfast is very good .Dinner option is available Mon-Fri and is a good option in poor weather. Staff are multilingual and very helpful. The USP for this hotel is it's location - perfect to visit all the main attractions of Bordeaux.

Apart from that Bordeaux is a wonderful beautiful city and we’d definitely be back

Cons: - No internet. Yes, it is there and it is free but it is impossible to connect to it. We stayed for three days, all without Internet connection. - Do not want to keep your baggage after you leave. For "security reasons". Same bags that were totally ok staying for three days in the hotel room have now become a "security issue". Come on! Our flight was at 8PM and we had to check out by noon. So we planned to leave our staff by the reception desk and pick it up later on before the flight. They are claiming "security reasons" why they are not allowed to do so. I am traveling a lot and I have never meet such an approach. Thombs down! - Cleaning service has every day maintained only two beds while ignoring the third bed (which was used). - Rooms are cute but are bit too small for any longer stay.

Pros: Good location. Parking under bldg available for daily charge, quite expensive on the street in front (2 euro/hr) for all day. This Deluxe two room suite with sofa was spacious. Quite warm as AC off in late October and lots of sun. Furnished at a very basic level. Has two burner stove, fridge, microwave "kitchenette".

Cons: One elevator broken almost every time we visit. long waits for a ride in the morning. Check to make sure your room is clean and non-allergic for you before you unpack. Sometimes this has been an issue in this very "pet friendly" hotel.

Cons: Not much to complain about. The lifts are inadequate for the place which means that at peak times they stop at every floor and every time and it may take forever a) the lift to turn up at your floor (I gave up after 10 min) and b) to take you down. That is if you rely on the lift. There are stairs - clean, well lit.
