Pros: Reception staff brilliant. All spoke excellent English and do al that they could to be helpful. We prearranged a bay in the hotel's private, secure car park which worked very well. The room was quite small and, oddly,the sink and the shower were notseparated fromm the room. The toilet was sepparated by a door but there was no sink in the toilet so a potentially unhygeneic situation prevails. The bed was comfortable and the furniture modern and pleasant. The hotel waived my parking fee because of the issues I raised below

Cons: The duvet cover had a hole in the uderside. The cabling for the min-bar was dangling over the desk and thoughout the night the mini bar flashed on and off.. The platten holding the sockets above the desk came away from the wall when I unplugged my computer. One of the curtains was not 'hooked' up to its curtain rail properly so dangling down. Breakfast was not due to end until 1030 but when arrived fro breakfast at 0800 95% 0f the tables were empty but littered with uncleared breakfast residue and the bacon, scrambled egg and mushrooms were cold.

Cons: Even though breakfast was included in the price, the hotel do not prepare breakfast picnic bags for the early leavers. That would be a great improvement for the establishment. Also the booking webpage says booking a spot in the parking is not possible/necessary but in reality you need to do that in advance. I finally parked outside.

Pros: I like this concept a lot. There is no changing of the sheets/towels every day (I find that such a waste). You get a nice clean room and that's it. There are facilities for washing, and if needed you can ask for a change of towels/sheets etc (for a price). I think all hotels should so this. I had to attend a meeting a bit on the outskirts of town. and for that the location was perfect. Busses and trams are nearby, and the bus from the hotel stops directly. Very unproblematic stay. I had no problems with the location, but you should be aware that it is 10-15 min walk to the old city.

I had to attend a meeting a bit on the outskirts of town. and for that the location was perfect. Busses and trams are nearby, and the bus from the hotel stops directly. Very unproblematic stay. I had no problems with the location, but you should be aware that it is 10-15 min walk to the old city.
Cons: I fully understand the need for having rooms with people with disabilities, and I feel bad for mentioning this, but my (admittedly very large) room and bath had a shower that was mainly designed for disabled people in mind (no shower curtains, not high enough) so taking a shower left a small lake in the bathroom. This happened to me before, so not all upgrades to a larger room are the same. I did not have the breakfast, but it did not look like the price/performance was that great. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around anyway.

Cons: Bathroom screen lets the water through and the floor gets a bit wet which means you have to use the carpet to dry it and you end up with a wet carpet under your feet. Oh...once you're in the car park, can be a headache trying to get to the hotel, there should be better indications on how to get to street level, took us a little while but now we know :-)

Cons: 3 complaints : I was feeling very unwell on the first day of my stay. I rang reception and asked for someone to bring me a glass or bottle of water as I felt I couldn’t leave the room. The receptionist said « no, because she was on her own covering reception and there was no one else that could do it. » I also asked for an iron and ironing board 3 times during my stay, but they appeared to have lost it. I never got one. One day when there was torrential rain outside I asked if they had an spare unbrella for guests but they did not.

We had a ridiculous situation: asked for an iron on the first day, were told that THE iron is in someone’s room, but they don’t know in which, because they didn’t write it down. The situation repeated on day 2 and then on day 3. They really tried each time to use as an excuse the fact that they have only one iron and that they didn’t write down to whom the gave it because “it happened fast”/“un peu vite”. Apparently the staff really believed that these are valid excuses for a hotel. It was pretty important and very inconvenient for us since we brought clothes that had to be ironed.

Cons: Stinky room - literally smell of urine permeated the room for which I tried calling the front desk but the call goes to voice mail which never gets returned. The next morning asked the cleaning lady to help and tipped her extra to make that smell go away!!

The staff told us that the air conditioning is set by the hotel and is currently on “warm” only (I guess given the season). However the second room was much more pleasant in terms of temperature.

Second, the flooring was not carpet on the first floor but a plastic type tile, giving the hotel a cheap feeling. Third, hotel fittings such as doors and my shower unit appeared unkempt and stained (dirty). I would not stay here again when in Bordeaux.

Cons: The room smelled of mould and stale cigarette smoke, I left the windows open to air the property while we were out during the day but it made no difference. The windows have a green tint which makes the room feel like a seedy drug den. Only one towel was provided although we booked for 2 adults and an infant. No cot could be provided for the infant. The shower was mouldy and the water temperature inconsistent. The location is not near the city centre, it’s 30min walk to the city centre.

Cons: I didn't like most of the things. Dirty walls, dirty in overall. Bathroom looked like a aeroplane toilet, the stuff did not speak even a little bit of English. Dirty and smelly. Expensive. Definitely not worth it.

Cons: Bed was very thin and squeaky, bathroom was rusty and even the bathroom floor was ripped off and rusty. Toilet had big stains of not being cleaned well in a long time. The bedroom smelled like old moisture. Wifi simply doesn't work (if it happens that you see the network) and there is only one power outlet far from the bed for the whole bedroom. You need to walk around 20 minutes to get on the center and in spite of being right in front of a tram stop, tram doesn't run that route on the weekends
