Cons: The first night we were given a room which was extremely noisy. We could hear the noise from a club and we had a sleepless night. We complained the next morning but didn't even get an apology from the receptionist who obviously knew all about the noise. The other room we were given was fine and we had no further issues.

Cons: We’re from the UK, so we’re used to people not smoking indoors; the hotel allows people to smoke in the main reception and there are ash trays set out on all the tables. We accept that this is the norm over there.

Pros: Only a few steps away from Jamaa al Afna, this corner of paradise is the perfect location to relax. Beautiful swimming pool (actually there are 2 pools, one on the 3rd floor), great fresh breakfast, every day fresh flowers in the room, staff always smiling and ready to help. Perfect stay to enjoy the city and relax. Highly recommended!

Cons: Rooms would need a bit of refreshment. It would be very nice if smoking was not allowed in the swimming pool.

Pros: It is very special hotel: chic and charming, beautiful , romantic and very convenient location to visit Marrakech. It is in the city center. We traveled with kids and they could rest after visiting enjoyed the beautiful pool in the main patio ,the the pool which is next to the sky bar with amazing views to the Koutoubia also the SPA. The employees and the manager of the Hotel received warmly and they were very useful. I hardly recommend this hotel if you want to have a special experience.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, a great range to choose from, very well presented and lasts from 6.30 until 10.30, so plenty of time to have a lie in and still enjoy a good breakfast. A great range on offer from hot food, including bacon, sausages, boiled eggs, an egg bar where they make omelettes or fried eggs as well as a pancake bar. Lots of fresh fruit and yogurt, cakes and croissants. Really good coffee!! The hotel is a quiet relaxing riad in the middle of chaos...and the chaos is amazing! its busy, its hot, there is something to see and do everywhere it can be overwhelming, then......you step over the threshold to a quiet, calm, serene beautifully scented hotel lobby, surrounded by friendly and welcoming staff. The evening bar is a must, the pianist is great, the cocktails and nibbles so fantastic (try the negroni!!) then a walk up to the roof and you are in THE BEST Indian restaurant, amazing views across the city the best poppadum, curries, the onion banjos are mouthwatering!! Everywhere is beautifully kept, maintained and cleaned. There is a pool side restaurant and snack bar, lovely food throughout the hotel in 3 -4 different restaurants, including traditional Moroccan and a french inspired evening restaurant too, with lovely steaks. At night, you retreat back to you room, in a moroccan vibe, cool and calming, very well appointed with towels and toiletries, cleaned every day. Filled with fresh fruit and water, they miss nothing in this hotel. The reception staff are very helpful, upgraded us on arrival, which was amazing ! nothing is too much trouble for them, from exchanging money to sorting out guides, transfers and birthday cake ! .......we will definitely stay here again and will look forward to coming.

Pros: Location and choice of swimming pools. The rooftop swimming pool was particularly good and much cooler than the ground floor pool which was a bit of a heat trap.

Pros: This property is exquisite, lavish and excellent in every way. Centrally located, with only a very short two minute stroll to the Square. I felt as though I was in a haven, the serenity within the hotel is perfection. This is one hotel I didn't want to leave. The spa I would rate as 10/10 absolutely amazing aesthetically and the treatments and staff absolutely perfect. The roof top Indian restaurant is a must visit, the menu and quality A+, staff excellent and listening to the call to prayer as the sunsets was extraordinary. I would highly recommend this hotel, one of my highlights of a very long trip.

Cons: There is absolutely nothing I could mention here, this hotel is exquisite in every way.

Pros: The staff was helpful when we need to work on shipping an item.

Cons: The air conditioner in our room was not working. We told them the first night and no one came and fixed it. We we told them again the next morning someone came and “fixed” it but I continued to be warm in our room. Air Conditioner was set to 5C and we were still sweating in our room The shower was lukewarm every time we took a shower.

Pros: The restaurants are nice and the food is delicious. The staff is kind and the location is perfect

Cons: The staff was disorganized and dishonest. They strung us along for several hours about attempts to fix the AC in our room only to finally admit there was no AC in the hotel in February (despite being a warm and muggy night) after we confronted them with the fact that every room had its windows open.

Pros: The Riad is 3 minutes away from the main square but not noisy at all. Both the common areas and rooms were spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was lovely and a great spot for breakfast and early evening drinks- we seemed to be the only ones using it. The breakfast was good value for money.

Cons: The beds could have been more comfortable. If you like natural light, opt for a room that isn’t on th ground floor as they’re a bit dark.

Pros: Friendly, welcoming staff. Very good breakfast, including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, a hot vegetable dish, yogurt, cereal, croissants, pastries, good coffee. Air conditioning! A little pool where you could take a dip to cool off. Roof terrace. Location just 5 minutes walk from the Jamaa el Fna square, but very quiet in the hotel. Through the hotel, we booked a taxi from the airport and the service included a porter to lead us the way from a nearby square and transport our luggage through the medina to the hotel.

Cons: We could not get any English tv except in the morning, due to poor signal strength. But not a major problem and the WIFI was very good always.

Pros: The staff was really nice and welcoming. Provided us with a lot of Information about the area and what to see. The room was really nice and we had 2 entrances, one of them leading to the rooftop terrace. safe was simple to operate. Excellent location and easy to get back to the riad without getting lost.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit small. The room size was perfect although getting around the edge of the bed was tight but it wasn't that bad. the breakfast was a definite miss. We didn't enjoy much of it. Maybe if we went down earlier, it would have tasted fresher or just better. Or maybe not

Pros: I've traveled to five continents. So far, this is my favorite place I've stayed. The building is old, gorgeous, and has wonderful character. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is also quite good.

Pros: This hotel is luxurious, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. Toilet and shower were spacious and luxurious. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was one of a kind, many varieties and delicious things were available. The hote has several swimming pools including one huge indoor. Large gem lounge was also available.

Cons: please avoid this hotel Following you will find a list of the events of my stay at this hotel. 1/ Like every client in this hotel, i reserved the chairs with towels with a good spot next to the swimming pool (basically the earliest get the best chairs, believe me you have to be very early). After a 20 minutes sport session, other people were at the chair that i reszrved. The swimming pool guy basically removed my towels with no reason. Now no chairs anymore available for the all day in the hotel, so I had to go to another hotel, pay a fee to access to the pool for the day. 2/ the mattress in my room was basically wood. It hurts my back so bad you cant imagine. It took me 4 back and forth at the reception to get to change the mattress which they finally did not change and i had to move to another room. 3/ when i arrived, they proposed to get bring my 2 suitcases in my room. After 30 minutes wait, i finally went back to the reception to bringing ilthem myself. (they did not even noticed that i tooked my suitcase basically) 4/ Construction work took place at the swimming pool. So you can imagine the noise when they are destroying the ground from 9am to 8pm without interruption. 5/ I still believe that I can do a better mojito that the one that i ordered at the bar of the hotel. It was basically water with lemon and some rhum. I paid this mojito 130 Dirhams. I noticed them that I will not drink this and they did not event try to do something. I did not drink it and only few would have. 6/i ordered food with Glovo (value 400 dirhams). I was Hungry and i just wanted to have diner in my room. The lady a the entrance (after being very invasive in my bag in the afternoon with me) blocked me pretending that i coud not bring this in the hotel. I was so pissed off that i left the food in the street ( basically you can not eat outside because it’s too hot and people will recognize that you are not from here and ask you money repetitively).

Pros: This is a nice hotel in a good location. Nice pool area and conveniently located. Comfy beds and nice rooms.

Cons: I was very upset about how I was treated initially when I turned up with a Moroccan friend. He was treated appallingly as a second class citizen. He essentially wasn't allowed in the hotel. Also I had to request a room change as the first one was so noisy from a nearby nightby nightclub.

Pros: Attached to the Menara Mall and all stores had a 50% sale. Also, close to the Medina which is a great cultural experience.

Cons: I would be better if each room has a small hanger at the balcony. To dry swimming suit or towel . I was stying in Prestige suit 2 double room with pool view. I had to dry my swimsuit on the chairs and the tables at the balcony . It will look nice and tidy for the look of hotel as well.

Pros: The General Manager Mr. Nader is very attentive and went the extra mile to insure our stay was enjoyable. He ended up making our stay in Savoy a pleasant one.

Cons: The service ! Some of the front desk ladies were careless upon arrival and we had a bathroom issue that had to wait till the next morning to get fixed despite reporting the issue to the front desk.

Pros: Big hotel with lots of amenities attached to a (very) small mall. Big rooms/suites. Super swimming pool (only thong really clean!). Good drinks and Chichas.

Cons: Training of the staff is not appropriate, long waiting time for drinks or coffee are not acceptable for a claimed 5* Hotel. Rooms and balconies are not clean. AC makes noise. Room not ready when we arrived. Bed broken, I had to fix it myself (twice) as nobody came to do it. Toilets leaking.

Cons: The WiFi, which to me feels like a very basic thing for a hotel to have, barely worked the entire time we stayed there. And when it did, it was slower than slow. Really disappointing for the price we paid for the room.

Pros: They used to have verity of food during the breakfast. The staff are very emotionally intelligent, they remember your birthday, type of food and drinks you have every day... They know that from DAY ONE. The location is great, you can easily access and reach around the city.

Cons: The room service is very limited, and they have selected type of food available, you cannot order whatever type of food you want in the evening.

Pros: The breakfast, the gardens, the pool, the lobby. And the location is a nice walk to the Medina. Room rate was good value for money.

Cons: The rooms were really very old, 70s decor. No hot water kettle. No tissues.

Pros: This time I stayed in Essaadi hotel, not the palace, for four night in March and i found it very good as always because i satay in this hotel when ever i visit Marrackech but i also stay in other hotels in the city. The location of Essaadi is very good if you do not like isolation from the city actions. The best in Essaadi, in my opinion, is the walk path that connect the hotel to the palace its more than 700 m long full of varieties of citrus, palm, olive, pomegranate trees. I usually take a walk on the path, in the morning before breakfast where the smell of orange blossom fill the srrounding. Breakfast improved a lot with many varieties and good preparation. Staff were very friendly and happy to help but need appreciation. Restaurant , i tried grilled seabass For dinner and it was very good but slow service though. I found The pool was heated to 26 degrees although i did not use. Room was always cleaned and prepared well and when i asked for some roses in a vase it was put in my room without extra cost. A basket of fruit was in the room when i checked in. The hotel was happy to keep my luggage for couple of days when i travelled away from the city. The new manager is always walking around and talking to the guests. Its good value for money as four star hotel, and i would look forward to stay in this hotel in near future.

Cons: Wifi is little slow, rug in the room looks old. No tea or coffee machine in room, apparenty in my recent travel this service is no longer availble in hotel in Marrakech.
