Cons: It’s a little annoying that you have to take 3 elevators to get back to your room if you valet park your car buth that’s it.

Cons: There must be a nightclub in the building somewhere... I was on the 51st floor and there was club music Blasting all night long. And there wasn’t anything anybody could do. Music went until 2 in the morning and didn’t get much sleep.

Cons: I really like this hotel I been ther four times the last year

Cons: Free parking. It’s ridiculous they charge so much for parking

Cons: We did not like the fact that we had to pay for wifi. A hotel of this star rating and price should have complimentary wifi for guests, especially since it is located downtown and I presume there would be many guests there on business. We also found that when we attempted web access without wifi that there was little reception on the 21 floor, so we were without web access that day. Our room was located 2 doors away from the elevators which was noisy. The water pressure in the shower was quite terrible.

Cons: Nothing too serious. Weak shower water pressure, some light bulbs were out... maybe brand bath products?

Cons: Forced to use service elevator as normal were out, the service elevator dropped multiple feet scaring all inside, then there was no power in the room and sat in darkness. We left halfway through the night.

Cons: My first night, I awoke at midnight to a very loud fire alarm which was blasting in my room through a speaker. I walked down 17 flights of stairs and only when I got to the first floor an employee brushed it off and said it was a false alarm. The second night, same thing happened but this time it was a 3am fire alarm. I was wide awake, heart racing for hours, I didn’t get much sleep between both nights. They did, however, comp my room service so that was attentive and a nice gesture. I appreciate them doing that without me having to ask for things in return to make it better. Sleep is the main purpose of my hotel stay and if you can’t get a good nights sleep, why am I even there? It just really left a bad taste for me, even though the staff and hotel was perfect. Not sure I’d go back.

Cons: I chose this place in large part because it had a rooftop pool in downtown LA. The Sunday after we stayed there we tried to use the pool at 12pm but all the lounge chairs were put away or closed off and removed from the pool. We were told because of a pool party at 4pm no lounge chairs could be out by the pool and needed to be held for it. When I asked if we could use just 2 to hang by the pool for 1 hour and that I would pay, they said they would check with their manager. I waited about 30 minutes for that person to get back to me then saw them walking by doing something else with no manager in sight or answer. We split and went home. Also, purchased room through Kayak paid the additional amount to get breakfast included. Ordered from room service and told them we had that deal. They delivered breakfast and charged us. When I spoke to management they said that I needed to go to the restaurant to order the breakfast that I paid for through the Kayak reservation. When I told the manager we let them know about it when we ordered room service on the phone and they never told us we had to go down to the restaurant, she referred me to bring it up with Kayak. Service is absolutely the worst considering the inflexibility on food ordered from the same cooks and bait and switch on a pool amenity that you can't you because of a party in 4 hours.

Cons: - The first room I stayed in was small, had a view of nothing but the rooftop A/C units, and had incredibly noisy ventilation system. The very polite front desk staff moved me to a different (and much nicer) room upon request - $10 bottles of water in the room. Come on guys, a complimentary bottle of water won't kill the margins. - 'Hotel-branded' flip flops for sale at $20 instead of the inexpensive complimentary slippers that are normally available at hotels of this level

Cons: The pool area was a little confusing. It was hard to tell which chairs were taken. The chairs by the shallow end of the pool were occupied by people who didnt seem to want to get wet which was frustrating. The hotel room felt like a store. Too many items for sale. This also took up precious space for personal items.

Cons: Very hard to sleep in when staying by the pool. Lots of noise every morning from both the hallway and the pool. Hallways smell like weed. Even though we knew we had to pay for parking, $36 a night is a bit extreme

Cons: A dresser for clothes in the room would have been nice. There were hangers but no space to put other items from suitcase.

Cons: The service was horrible! The bartenders and waitstaff in 3 different venues within the hotel were awful! Rude, not attentive at all, for a place that automatically adds 18% gratuity on top of the additional tip, shame on them for having bad staff at such a iconic and beautiful hotel. This literally ruined the ambience and enjoyment of my stay.

Cons: My room smelled terrible. I didn't like the staff because they were very rude to me for walking around the hotel at night.

Cons: $28/day parking fees! This was not mentioned at time of booking. Reserved two rooms with two double beds in each, as our party consisted of two families of four. Was given two rooms with 1 king bed in each. Staff was rude and seemed annoyed that the reservations were booked via 3rd party. Rooms were on the small side and out dated. Very small pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet is $24 for those interested.

Cons: There was no late night snack bar.

Cons: We had to move into a 2nd room because the air conditioner wasn't working in the 1st. There was a $9.95 charge for the WIFI connection. The continental breakfast charge was too much ($19.00).

Cons: Terrible pickup service at the airport. We waited a half hour for the shuttle, and finally I had to call the hotel to request a pickup. The other hotel shuttles passed by every 10-15 minutes.

Cons: All in all it was good but maybe needs to be updated because my room had a popcorn ceiling.

The received numerous calls from the booking agents and their parent company but they refused to honor the stated policy. The result, the hotel took all the cash off a woman who was traveling alone and had miss her flight due to an airline agent's mistake, Their actions forced a diabetic not to eat for over 14hrs.....

Cons: Didn't have housekeeping while staying there.

Cons: Huosekipping playing music wail cleaning.ther is no insulation, you hear it for hours ...want to or not. Asking did not help.

Cons: Smelly stain in hallway, pointed out to staff, nothing done. Gap between hall doors and floor results in noise and lost privacy.

Cons: Food selection in hotel was not plentiful. There were small flies (plural) all over my shower.

Cons: The last three times I've stayed here, I've had a problem with my room key cards at least once each visit. Sometimes they've just been coded wrong (as in the wrong check-out date), but other times they've just stopped working. It's a hassle to go back down to the front desk, especially when you've just come back from the office carrying stuff. That said, they're very helpful in giving new key cards. I just wish they'd bring them to the room rather than having me make an extra trip because of a problem with their equipment. The menu in the bar has been in flux for a while The menu in the restaurant is in need of an update

Cons: After a long day of travel we checked in and went upstairs and found out our room was a double bed not a king bed . When I called they said they ran out of kings I had booked the king several days in advance and there was no mention when we checked in. I guess they thought that we would just take whatever they gave us instead of giving us what we requested an already paid for. They promised a credit to my credit card I have yet to see. I requested correspondence in regards to the credit I’ve yet to see that as well. Also the air-conditioner was extremely loud and kept us up all night. We only had five hours to sleep before next flight so that was really unfortunate.

Cons: Expensive Buffett breakfast. Expensive orange juice and coffee. Breakfast buffet tasted like it was out of a can. No selection for ala cartel for breakfast. No vegan selections. Extra charges for room service, 2 different charges. No bathtub/shower combo. Parking distance from hotel.

Cons: We had to wait two hours to check in. We had been up all night flying into LAX. We were exhausted but nothing was available.

Cons: The public spaces and my room were too cold. I couldn't reset the thermostat.

Cons: they charge the bottle water, come on!

Cons: Technology plugs in room (USB).
