I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities in the room - bath robe, slippers, fridge. Everything was sparkling clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The ONLY thing that was questionable was the fact that the windows are single pane... which means that the street car donut spinning competition in the parking lot outside my window at 2am was incrediblely loud, and this went on for 20 minutes. Cons (-) Not able to check in until 3PM. 'No rooms available at 2:40PM' ... so not a single room ready 20 minutes prior to check in time. No one mentioned very very loud band playing just under my window until 11PM. Hotel old and not impressive. My upgraded room did not seem any better than a standard room. Bed on a platform that is bigger than the mattress so be prepared to kick you toe in the dark.
