Cons (-) Rude staff. Cigarette smoke smell in room. Poor bedding, disgusting carpet. Overall gross room.

Pros (+) Old and slightly shabby appearance. Good value for location- seems to be the cheapest around. Stayed 5 nights for a convention. 20 minute walk to the convention center. Room was very clean and cleaned daily for a 5 night stay. Whole foods 1/2 block, Ralph's supermarket 1-1/2 blocks, 2 drug stores about 3 blocks away. Refrigerator, microwave, WiFi in room.

Cons (-) Some stuff was a little dingy and the staff didn't seem very interested in my needs

Cons (-) The elevators were very cramped for 4 people with luggage going to the 10th floor and proved difficult for one member of our party with claustrophobia. Also, the fan in the room did not succeed in bringing the temperature of the room down below 80 degrees, even at night.
