Love the rooms, the lounge, the bar and the staff. But I could hear every footstep in the hall and every door opened from my room. So do not get a room near the stairwell. My room was cute but I didn’t get any sleep.
Would rate higher but "pet friendly" meant a $500 cleaning fee. Construction was happening on the ground floor of the building during the day and could even be heard on the 4th floor. Staff was very friendly. Location was great.
Extremely convenient location near LAX, with reliable, regular shuttles to and from the terminals.
We stayed overnight returning from an international flight before continuing to ATL. It was very convenient with the shuttle from LAX, easy check-in, dinner, a good nights sleep, and easy access to the airport the next morning.

Pros (+) Location, restaurant, shuttle
Cons (-) Shuttle drop off location, clean the room, update the room. This is a Hyatt Regency but felt like a La Quinta with a nice lobby and a restaurant. There are other hotels close to LAX, don’t pick Hyatt Regency as it doesn’t live up to the name.
Pros (+) Its super close to the airport. if you can walk 9 minutes to the hotel its a great deal.
Cons (-) The airport is in road change mode therefore waiting for the shuttle is onerous maybe 30 minutes to hour because of the traffic. It is actually a 9 minute walk!!!! I would suggest walking if you don't have too much luggage. It does no good to take a uber or a taxi because they are displaced outside the airport and you have to take a bus to get there.
Pros (+) Quiet, close to airport
Cons (-) Front desk staff was very rude and didn't smile all 4 times I went to the front desk
