Pros (+) An older property that retains its character but nicely updated, Hotel Normandie is a comfortable property in a great location. Walk to some of the best Korean food in the world! The staff is friendly and without a lot of effort, you could imagine yourself in a classic movie! The lobby evokes a different age. Also, a fun cafe is accessible from the lobby.
Cons (-) Strangely missing was a way to heat water in your room. Curious oversight... The breakfast was nice, but next time I will pay more and eat at the restaurant. Not a bad thing, but I was hungry and wanted a full breakfast.

Pros (+) It was perfect for my stay in Los Angeles. The hotel was beautiful and felt unique. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. Maid service was on top of it when I requested it. Overall, I would stay there again.
Cons (-) No counter or vanity space in the bathroom. My toiletries and makeup ended up on the back of the toilet. I normally live out of my suitcase, but there was barely any storage in the room if you wanted to unpack your stuff.

Pros (+) I liked that it was pretty quiet for an area that was really busy during the day and night. Other than that I'd recommend this place even for an over night trip. The staff was super nice and welcoming. One of the nice ladies in the front complemented me on my fresh tattoo and I really appreciated it cos it was important to me.
Cons (-) I guess I didn't like the valet situation, but what ya gonna do about it.
