8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is included in the price and is both generous and has a great variety of choice. Difficult to comment on location as whilst it would be nice to have this hotel located nearer to the sea with views to match our travels in the area seemed to demostrate how difficult it would be to find the perfect site. Stakk immensely helpful and friendly. Top marks to them.
Cons: As mentioned above the site would be better with closer proximity to and view of the sea. Apart from this small quibble a great place to stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Poolside amazing
Cons: Barely speaking English but they do, for most of them, speak French
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good, all the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly
Cons: Bar area could be more appealing to accommodate guests after dinner - The road leading to the hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A secluded paradise. Service is excellent, staff extremely courtly and the grounds and pool area are simply amazing. We had a most wonderful stay. And special thanks are due to Marzia, who is the most terrific babysitter. Spa, tough small, boasts a very good masseuse. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, a most mouthwatering spread; evening meals were excellent also. We will certainly return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything! The staff could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast incredible and fabulous amenities. Perfect for families.
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at other hotels in Sicily during this vacation but this hotel exceeded all our expectations. An outstanding hotel & certainly one we would highly recommend. Wonderful for families & couples too. Fantastic pool area and comfortable loungers & sofa’s scattered around under trees & in the garden area for tranquility & relaxation. On arrival we were met by the General Manager, Ohlm & were given a full induction of the Hotel, facilities & nearby attractions. He went above and beyond. Communicating with us constantly & via a WhatsApp messaging service. He made himself available though-out our stay. As first time visitors to this region we though this was an invaluable service. We’ve never experienced such personal interaction with Hotel management before. It was most welcomed. He offered Restaurant recommendations & sight seeing attractions in the area too. The convenience of a shuttle to Ortigia was an added benefit. The staff at the hotel were tremendous across all areas. Friendly & hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. The very spacious tastefully decorated rooms were well maintained, fluffy towels, crisp linen & spotlessly made up. Loved the sufficient wardrobe space. Having a drying rack near our room outside was a wonderful touch, to hang up wet swim suits too. The breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of Sicilian delights. We ended up eating most nights at the Hotel as the dinner menu was a gastronomical delight, with a fabulous wine list. Chef recommendations every night were superb. An unexpected added touch, on a day when there was incremental weather, we opened our door to find an umbrella outside every guest room. The Management lead from the front door & they have thought of everything. All the staff were happy and hospitable. What a great experience. Thank you. Ps. We loved the Olive Oil in the restaurant & were delighted to know it was available to purchase.
Cons: It was superb, could not fault this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and the facilities were fantastic. It was very comfortable and although a little bit far out from Siracusa they run 2 shuttles a day to Ortigia for €10 per room return which is pretty reasonable. Also you don’t really need to leave if you don’t want to. We stayed in Ortigia for a night before staying here which meant we had seen the sights by the time we stayed at this hotel so enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The staff are so friendly and breakfast was delicious. It was pretty quiet when we were there and one day we had the pool to ourselves all day which was delightful. We also booked a day tour through the hotel to see Noto, Modica and Ragusa which was brilliant. Our guide Luca was great and really looked after us. He escorted us round for 9 hours giving us lots of history of the whole of Sicily not just those 3 towns. It was well worth the expense. Nothing was too much for the staff here it was so kind of them. Olmo in particular was extremely friendly and offered to book us restaurants, days out, taxis and actually organised the day trip with Luca for us. You’ll be well looked after here.
Cons: The only downer for us was we ate at the property for 2 evening meals and the first night the meal was delicious. However unfortunately the second night we were served raw pork which we had to send back and it was extremely disappointing. Given this was a special to be served it raw was a real shame.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay here. It was relaxing and we really enjoyed the pool! The staff is great, very friendly. There is a lot to do in area and we had nice dinners here. The breakfast is simply amazing!
Cons: If i have to comment on anything it would be the shower. It’s a rainshower and i did’t like the waterpressure but i supose that is also a personal dislike for rainshowers. The small separate shower head did have great waterpressure.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: 1) The check in and personal service were superb, first impressions count a lot and boy to they take care of their guests. 2) the information provided excellent 3) the pool area was amazing 4) clean, comfortable rooms 5) attention to detail, we even found a welcome note with our name in the room 6) great food and great value for what they offer. 7) excellent breakfast with a large variety
Cons: All was perfect.. cannot fault the hotel. Just one thing I would like to mention is the quality of the toilet roll but it's probably eco-friendly so thumbs up!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this property Magnificent breakfast Amazing staff (very helpful) Great pool and outdoor area Very clean room Very peaceful and quiet
Cons: Dinner was not great, the restaurant food could do with a better menu and better cooking This place deserves to have a great restaurant with amazing food !

Pros: Very nice architecture and designs of the rooms, great facilities and helpful staff. Breakfast great. Location also very good. Sister hotel’s restaurant was also very good, plus there are plenty to choose from in a very short walking distance.
Cons: Nothing, it was all as described and up to its 4Star Superior rating.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent! Very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, warm and friendly!
Cons: Room tight. Beds narrow.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Couldn't think of a better location, 10 steps infront of a beautiful ocean break and walking distance from the best Ortigia has to offer. Marcelo has some great recommendations and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very elegant hotel with beautiful furnishings. Breakfast was very good as was the location and staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Whilst there was complimentary refreshments available all day, I still would have liked a tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Whilst the room air conditioning was satisfactory, I would have preferred it to be cooler due to the high temperatures in August.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Location on Ortigia island. Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, use of spa on booking with main reception, delicious breakfast accommodating non dairy option
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Cinzia and David were cheerful and friendly hosts. Free Parking in the street outside the hotel made it very accessible - made easier by Donato finding us a parking spot. The breakfast served in a co-owned neighbouring property was enjoyable.
Cons: With three adults in a triple room, the sofa couch was not comfortable. And unfortunately we didn’t have access to a room with a view over the sea.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Cynthia. She helped us carry our luggage to our room and gave us ideas on where to eat. The bed was really comfy. Good selection of food for breakfast.
Cons: Everything was great

Pros: Great staff, location and everything
Cons: Nothing to not like
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the water, yet easy to acres anywhere in Ortigia. Nice rooms and amenities
Cons: An elevator would have been nice
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff who were glad to be of help. Beautiful heritage building gives a feel of old style of luxury. Located in a quieter part of the island, it’s a great location to walk from for anything you want to see or need.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location; excellent breakfast with lots of options; room was very clean and bed was comfortable; large bathroom.
Cons: The room was a little small for 3 people. Parking is limited and needed to walk 10 mins to parking lot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Domus Mariae! The view was beautiful and in a lovely location, very comfortable room. Wonderful staff who were very helpful :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent, the breakfast was hearty, the location was perfect. The upstairs terrace was a delight. The rooms facing the sea were terrific. Enjoyed the sunrise & all the lightning & thunder- which was plentiful during our stay. Beware that during a thunderstorm you must close both the glass balcony doors & the shutters to help ward off the driving rain. If not you will have rain all over the floor.
Cons: PARKING was a major problem & preoccupation You either got VERY lucky & found a free space near the hotel or tried to find a place 2 blocks away in a garage for 15 euro /day. It too was often full. So we felt that we did not dare drive any where or would have to face the big challenge of again finding parking- for pay or if REALLY lucky blue zone free. For seniors having no elevator was a slight problem especially in the heat

Pros: A lovely hotel in an excellent location and very helpful and welcoming staff. It is in Piazza Duomo, a beautiful square in this historic zone. You can sit there and sio a glass of wine while watching the world go by. I wiill certainly return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best location in Ortigia....
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel! Clean and spacious rooms, elegant decor, AMAZING breakfast spread, and to top it off the staff were exceptional. The restaurant was also a highlight - we had the most delicious meal there on our last night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Siracuse in style.
Cons: Not much to fault, except for a stronger aircon in the rooms. It was so so hot when we went in August. There isn't a pool at the property and during the middle of summer, it gets unbearably hot in the afternoons so a dip in the pool would have made the world of difference!
7,1 Good
Pros: The reception staff very helpful and welcoming The breakfast room staff rude, unfriendly and unhelpful
Cons: The breakfast room staff

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff is amazing!
Cons: You need a car or taxi to get around . But so are most places in Plemmirio.. But other than that , is an excellent place to relax ! Celebrities would love it, no one would recognize them is very private.
7,9 Good
Pros: Huge pool. Spa facilities. In house restaurant.
Cons: Given the hotel name and some photos seen in the internet, I though we would all stay in the old villa. Actually our children (all 18+) have been hosted in a separate, modern and huge facility across the street. The hotel is more suitable for families with small children who like to spend the whole day at the pool and have a close by restaurant. It has nothing to do with a boutique hotel, which was what we were looking for.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Bit far away from Town
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place is the perfect place for relaxation. The staff were really nice, helpful and easy to communicate. They all know good English and thus makes it more easy to communicate. The place was extremely clean and quiet, the food was superb and the breakfast to die for. I will surely go again.
Cons: The property had all the necessities and much more than anyone would expect.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: A good hotel perhaps a little on the expensive side probably trading on its spa facilities

Pros: Great location - big swimming pool with very good service, very good beds at the pool. For extra rust, you have a second swimming pool at the VILLA side and a 3rd at the wellness. Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff where exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a great choice of food and drink. It is a very peaceful and quiet location.
Cons: our bedroom was very small
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and super helpful....and the kids loved the pools. We had a car...so it was only a short drive to Ortigia...also an easy drive to places like Catania, Mt Etna and Noto.
Cons: Not much that the hotel could do...but the surrounding area is not great. It’s fine with a car...but you can’t walk out of the hotel and go somewhere.
9,6 Excellent

Pros: Nice pool and the breakfast was great! They also have a complementary bus service where they drive you out to a beach for the day. This was nice, since the hotel is a little far from the beach. Very nice garden. There was also free bike loans.
Cons: It was very far from beaches and any town, so you have to take a taxi to get there and we maybe got a little bored due to the lack of activities/options of going out. All the food and drink options were pricy.

Pros: The garden, the pool(bar) and the rooms
Cons: More variety in breakfast, the food at the restaurant could have been better given the price

Pros: Don't let the approach roads put you off -this place is a beautiful comfortable oasis. Lovely gardens and very good facilities. The staff are a real asset - professional, friendly and helpful and always with a ready smile, Don't bother dining out- the chef is talented and inventive and as a result the food is sublime and the dining room and terrace have a great ambience.

Pros: GREAT LOCATION for a visit to Syracuse. It is right across the bridge to Ortiga - the historic center of Syracuse. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay was a nice treat. Driving and parking in Syracuse is a challenge. The hotel "came to the rescue and provided us multiple options for parking that really helped make our stay stress free and enjoyable. They took very good care of us. Although we stayed only a short stay in Syracuse, we enjoyed it a lot - in no small part to the staff at the B&B.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for wandering around Ortigia. It is a small property and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is a nice spot to sit later in the day and the breakfast up there is nice.

The breakfast is great with bread, fresh fruits and delicious pies! The B&B is 10 mins driving from the beach with beachbars and restaurants. Featured amenities include a computer station and luggage storage. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Very excellent location and our room had a patio. They made coffee for us each morning early as well. Right across the street in a small take out place is some of the best food you will find in Ortigia!
Cons: 63 stairs to get to our room and the B&B only takes cash no credit cards. However, these two things aside, it was a fine stay and the staff is excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location - right in the middle of the cultural centre - we took the top apartment (60 steps but didn't see a lift.!)- with sitting room & entry hall/kitchenette - good space with little private roof terrace.
Cons: The apartment was quite basic - and the sea view was more of a sea glimpse over roof tops. Very basic breakfast but loads of cafes around the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This was a great location in Ortigia, everything within walking distance.
Cons: Cash only payment. Parking far away. Breakfast just ok.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Our second bed room was like a closet while our friends got a huge apartment and paid less. We had asked months ago for an upgrade but never got it . I had to sleep in a room with a window onto an air shaft.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in historic center. Very nice apartment, well decorated. Staff was helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room was quite large (actually a suite), very centrally located and breakfast was good. Roberta and Johnny (sp?) were very helpful and friendly. Roberta gave us great dinner suggestions!
Cons: A bit difficult to drive to and unloading and loading luggage on a busy narrow street was a bit of a challenge, but if you navigate to the property per their instructions (not the property address), it is easy enough to find. Free parking is almost impossible, but the public pay lot had plenty of spaces - just be prepared for €15 per day.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The air conditioner was in the sitting room which had a balcony & fresh air . The bedroom was closed off& very warm & made sleeping uncomfortable. Too bad as it was a lovely room & location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I had booked a room with a terrace and sea view. It turned out to be a small apartment on the top floor with a very spacious deck. We joked that we could easily live there. There was a fantastic seafood restaurant right around the corner and the best gelato at Gusto about 2 minutes toward the Duomo.
Cons: Though I know spaces are often tight in Europe, the bathroom was very small and cramped. A little more room would have made it more comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in historic old town. Loved the building and our room. Great breakfast and staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location - right in the heart of the lovely old quarter of Ortigia, but very quiet. Traditional decor with modern comfort. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The B&B doesn’t serve meals other than the excellent breakfast, but is very close to a wide range of cafes and restaurants. A lovely stay - I would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service was amazing and the staff most kind! They helped us organise the rest of our trip and gave us tips about restaurants, public transports etc. The B&B was clean, spacious and well-located. The staff asked us our wishes forto the breakfast and offered us a salty breakfast, just like we wished. This place is highly recommended and truly the right place to stay in Siracusa❤
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast consisted of bread, croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurt, cereals, juice and tea/coffee. We were welcomed by our host Antonio and gave us a thorough description of the area and suggestions of places to visit. The location of this B&B is quite convenient - very near bus and train stations as well as a short walk to the town of Ortigia.
Cons: We would suggest tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We did find these facilities in other B&Bs which we stayed in on other visits to Sicily.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our requests were fully met. The owner had good humour and informed us well. The room was basic and comfortable. Very secure. It had a street balcony which provided entertainment. The location is 150 metres from the old town, here your food and drink requirements are well sorted. Some lovely boutiques and curio shops, amazing maze of narrow streets. A lovely walk around the old town, around the coast, and cats, lots of cats, cat heaven is here. I loved this place.
Cons: Not much. Hired a car for 4 days to put some excitement into our travels. Syracuse is a bit chaotic at peak times. Thing is, I always caught the peak times......
8,8 Excellent
Pros: On the mainland rather than the island, but that's what I wanted as it made car parting easier - the island is in easy walking distance. On a higher floor in an apartment block (there is a lift). Facilities were fine.
Cons: The booking system had options to book breakfast in advance or to request it on arrival. For some reason I chose the latter but when I asked on arrival, breakfast wasn't available because I hadn't booked in advance. But there were several bars nearby.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable accomodation in an ideal location. Within walking distance to the major attractions and bus stop with a parking station 150m away.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A very clean and comfortable room, in the entrance of the old town Ortygia, in walking distance from the train and bus station. Antonio is an ecxellent and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay at beautiful Syracuse .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We booked the room early in the morning and called Antonio. 5minutes later he arrived and we could leave the luggage they would only need to clean the room. Antonio was a welcoming friendly host explaining us all about where to go and were to stay away - very touristic. The room was spacious with a good aircon and fridge. Situation was perfect. Close to Ortigia island and only (30min.) walk to the Greek theatre. Parking is possible in the street if you can find a spot. Tip from Antonio between 13:00-16:00 there is siesta, people take their cars them to go somewhere for lunch then there might be a spot, but we parked 5min. Walk from Antonio’s B&B which was perfect.
Cons: The only thing is very small the towel hooks in the bathroom were on the other site of the bathroom and the toilet paper hanger was opposite of the toilet which made the space to dry yourself after showering a bit small. But that is really small issues nothing to not go there. We would definitely recommend it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying at B&B Caravaggio. Antonio is a superb host! The place is 5 minutes from Ortigia Island, the touristic area, but also has several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Very safe area, good bed and bathroom. Elevator is a plus, since it is hard to find it in Italy. Siracusa is lovely, I recommend staying here!
Cons: Weak wifi sometimes, but not a major problem at all!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host Antonio provided recommendations for local cafes, gelateria etc. Excellent location a couple of minutes walk to Ortigia. Easy 10 minute walk to bus station and within walking distance to Greek Theatre and archeological museum. Good continental breakfast. Overall very good value for money.
Cons: Wifi was a little patchy at times.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Antonio was the prefect host. Made us welcome and gave lots of practical information for beautiful Siracusa - where to eat, transport etc. The B&B Carvavaggio is located within a period building and affords simple, clean accommodation. Breakfast was good. Above all the location is excellent - within an easy walk to transport and all the sights of Siracusa. Would highly recommend.
Cons: Everything was good.

4,6 Okay
Pros: The pool was nice- clean and the service at the pool bar was very friendly.
Cons: The location wasn't great. Very ugly part of town and big noisy street. Also my friend and i both had a treatment at the spa ( facial and mani-pedi) which was pretty bad.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and more than ample space for the family room as well. The pool was very clean and well maintained and had a nice views of the city and the sea in the distance. It was a brisk 20 minute walk to Ortygia Island, where there was an array of local eateries and a lovely walk by the marina and sea for swimming. The food and cocktails were good at the hotel, though the portion sizes for lunch and dinner on the smaller side. Breakfast was a good array of choices including a cooked breakfast, fresh croissants, fruit and yoghurt - it was a good start to the day and friendly staff to also greet us in the mornings. We got the Interbus from Catania Airport which was about an hour transfer to a stop near the hotel for about 5.70 euros each way and a comfortable and cost effective journey. We’d definitely stay at the hotel again should we visit Sicily in the future.
Cons: If anything just the portion sizes for lunch and dinner - though the food itself was good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location was a little bit far to access Ortigia but we managed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the reception staff and the pool
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was okay, not as good as in other hotels I have stayed at in the same chain. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very helpful.
Cons: A little far from Ortygia Island. Pool was small and there was a significant amount of noise from pool and restaurant area in rooms of the 5th floor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All was excellent!
Cons: Nothing in my eyes
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, well run, efficient hotel. Knowledgable and helpful staff. The best of the multiple hotels we stayed at in Sicily. Facilities were good. Location was good, although a little frustrating to rely on the electric minibus with no known schedule but this can be fixed with a €10 taxi to Ortigia and a short walk (30 minutes) home.
Cons: Unfortunately rooms were compact and no real outdoor space for hanging beach towels etc.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, so very clean and with good wifi, aircon, etc
Cons: Not a place for old-world charm. A bit far from attractions, and a bit on the pricy side.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms and the hotel was well maintained
Cons: Breakfast a little disappointing
7,1 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy not extra comfy
Cons: Hidden charges

Pros: Good location but the room was ordinary with a very poor bath room and inward facing view. Great AC which was important given the temp in August.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was great although parking was rare without paying highly for it
Cons: The room we were provided looked nothing like the room shown on the booking page. Whilst it was ok, it wasn't what I was expecting and smaller than I thought it was going to be

5,4 Okay
Pros: The private beach is nice and the staff was helpful
Cons: The breakfast is industrial, nothing is fresh, it's cheap supermarket products. We changed rooms 3 times because something wasn't working. We saw many ants in one of the rooms. This hotel should loose 2 stars out of 5 or change management ASAP.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was superb so much improved since our last visit. The location is excellent.
Cons: Our room was dark and uninviting. As we have stayed before and always had a room overlooking the marina it was a big disappointment.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, breakfast included was fantastic The location, the beach, just to name a few
Cons: Some of the staff not very friendly Could be a bit more accommodating
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location The staff The facilities
Cons: The bar closing at 7pm Insufficient attention to room access from reception staff resulting in uninvited and unexpected visitor with key to our room
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Ortigia overLl was very enjoyable
6,7 Good
Pros: Location of hotel is excellent
Cons: Suite was NOT the room pictured, far, far smaller. Private beach is OK but what they don't tell you is it's on a different island and takes 20 m on a boat to get there - AND they charge €30 per DAY to use it. Also not private - public on beach either side of hotel section. Aircon is NOT adjustable - hotel decides what is 'fine' and I don't want to sleep in 20° plus because it saves the hotel money. 50% of staff nice other 50% very rude
8,8 Excellent
Pros: That it was a great location and staff were very helpful
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quality , lovely staff , perfect location, parking.
Cons: Nothing.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. Beautiful views and rooms. Nice balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was stand out great.
Cons: Overall really great. .. just poor blinds that let light stream into the room, which woke us up at sunrise
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Sea view. Nicely structured, modernized from top to bottom with out loosing the outside. Look typical of sicily
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Bathroom fittings were rusted. Really need to be changed.

Pros: Fantastic view great location to restaurants. We recommend using valet for parking. Very professional staff. Quiet.
4,6 Okay
Pros: the view and place was fantastic
Cons: The rooms had a very uncomfortable smell to them - which was extremely difficult to remain in your room. Especially in the bathroom. The breakfast could be improved a lot.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient and comfortable. Staff really helpful and friendly.
Cons: Liked everything about hotel but didn’t like being charged at time of booking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Historic Safe Easy to get around Staff on duty 24hrs Central to all activities
Cons: All was good
7,5 Good
Pros: The view was amazing (we had a room with the sea view on the second floor and a small balcony). The room was nice. The service was good. The breakfast is a small choice but it was maybe the best breakfast I had out of 7 hotels at Sicily during my current stay (17 days). The bed was OK enough for sleeping with a comfort (despite the pillows are terrible fake synthetics, as anywhere else though, but this I dismiss as i always bring with me my own nice high quality feather pillow everywhere, when I stay in some hotels).
Cons: The beach in front of the hotel is terrible, as well as the stairs that goes to it. It is a public beach, it looks dirty, it is a lot of big and small stones so you cannot access the sea so easy (but I was swimming anyway a little bit every morning). This beach is not equipped for relaxation, that is for sure. I might say that you can consider there is no beach at all, you just have a great view from the balcony, that's it. The small in the bathroom was horrible. The administrator of the hotel said that it depends on the weather and on the sea, but I think that was a lie. The bathroom small awful during all the days of our stay, there was no changes at this matter while we were there, and the weather was fine, and the sea was quiet. I think that was some problem with sewerage (canalization). There is no place to park a car anywhere near, so you have to do it very far on a big parking (if there will be some free spaces, which is not always a case). You can walk to this Parking like 20 minutes by the feet, or 5-8 minutes drive with the local city shuttle (1 euro cost), but you have to wait until it arrives. There is no really good restaurant very close to the hotel (for this you have to walk a bit far), and the ones that were close are too average I would say.

Pros: The view was great and it was perfect location

Pros: The location.
Cons: Toilet seat was broken. The toilet flush was broken. Service at breakfast was very slow.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location great but not easy to find.
Cons: Would have appreciated the recommendation to park in the public parking garage and not try to drive to this place as streets very narrow.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Situated down a side street to very quiet but with easy access to walk around Ortigia. Helpful staff and a lovely breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in Ortigia for touring the old town. Always a challenge finding the hotel in these areas but the hotel offers a valet service for 20eur which worked great for us.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very unique hotel, clean and comfy
Cons: The rook does not block any noises, can hear the people next door flashing toilet and shower.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very nice and friendly and responded promptly to our email questions. Everyone was so helpful and nice. They also helped arrange valet parking which was great.
Cons: I did not realize that one cannot put toilet paper in the toilet. Had I known that I probably would have booked a different hotel. Also the furniture in our room 103 was a little old.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Their delicious restaurant Bella Vita. Excellent chef and service. Good Sicilian wine selection.

Pros: Good location between the train station and old town
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a charming old building on one of Syracuse's main boulevards, leading straight to Ortygia and lined with small cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable and airy. The reception and breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast coffee prepared and served by a specialist!
Cons: The breakfast was adequate but uninspiring. Unripe fruit a particular grumble for us, and too many 'dolce' items compared to the number and the quality of the 'salata' items. Parking in the vicinity not easy, at times quasi impossible.

Pros: Amazing location, everything is smooth and well done, with options for everyone. The `rocky beach' is great for genuine sea swimming and the pool and sandy beach great for kids and relaxing. Fantastic place and very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was upgraded upon arrival to a junior suite with sea view (for no extra cost), and the suite was absolutely amazing, with a view on Ortigia. We had a great time.
Cons: The hotel restaurant, while very good, is massively overpriced for what you get.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location unique whit a gorgeous landscape and esclusive seaside , breakfast very good, bed and bathroom excellent, high quality of traditional food and beverage.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location and Beach great
Cons: Staff disinterested Breakfast average Nothing five star about the room even after being moved to a better room following complaining No one ever asked us if everything was ok and never showed interest in making our stay a good experience. Really disappointed. Although the beach was lovely, even the beach attendant was useless. Unless you want to stay for the lovely beach our advice is stay somewhere which will be less than half the price and more accommodating
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are amazing, 2 beautiful beaches and the main manager Sergio was also Great. Also the doorbell that help us was very nice. We had some issues at check in and he went above and beyond to help us and make our stay great.
Cons: Most of the personal has not the service actitud that the manager has. There are no towels at the beaches and or pools you wait for ever to get them and they still never get there. It Is also very important to know if you make reservations and you have children that the rooms could be far away from each other including street crossings in between. Make sure to book a Village if you go with family. My husband got stung by a sea urchin and they did not have good instruments to take the thorns out there are also no sings on the rocky beach letting you know there are sea urchins and we did not know there were.
7,1 Good
Pros: Breakfast, rock and sand beach facilities And jacuzzi. Amazing landscape!
Cons: No free shuttle to Ortigia (boat)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place with great beaches, yes, it has two beaches. Excellent in every respect. The first line sea view suite with balcony is perfect choice.
Cons: It is perfect already. Hard to say whether there is need to improve on anything.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We pointed out a few issues, and some breakdowns of equipment and staff were prompt in addressing them. Very friendly and helpful also.
Cons: It felt understaffed though I believe it is not. Some of the standard services are a tad inefficient, and thus a bit slow. Bath linen all taken away in the morning and only replaced in the evening. But these are minor issues, and I’m professionally biased to spot supply-chain inefficiency. On the bigger issues, the response was excellent !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view, the location, the rock beach.. perfect in every way!
Cons: Should have more transfers to Ortigia
5,8 Okay
Cons: This is not a 5 star hotel! The beach was dirty. Wifi is bad.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Located on a headland opposite the city if Siracusa, the views are beautiful. There is a private beach in a quiet cove that’s perfect for swimming in the sea. This resort is ideal to relax by the pool or by the sea.
Cons: It is a little isolated - you need a car! - and that means you’re dependent on the restaurants on site for food. Food choices are ok but after a day or two feels limited. (That said, the outdoor restaurant that overlooks the sea is good and there was a buffet one evening we were there that was great)

9,2 Excellent
Pros: So many pastries for breakfast. I loved it!
Cons: I found weird not having duvet in the room! I asked for it. I was brought mattress cover. And no even iron. When I asked for iron, I was told that it was restricted by the hotel management to give iron to anyone staying in the hotel!

Pros: The room was like a Courtyard Marriot and very spacious. There were great restaurants close by and it was a nice walk (not too far) to Ortigia. And the bonus was a great breakfast...included.
Cons: Parking choices were either find a spot on the street or 15-18 euros day in a parking lot.
