Cons: The whole experience was terrible. It doesn't deserve its star rating. The rooms were shocking with a flood in the bathroom every morning as the shower was drainless! The decor was done in cheap plastic like a motel. The food was sub standard.

We also had a birthday during our accommodation, and the staff left a treat in our room as well as a kind note. We also arrived early from the airport and our room was ready. Additionally, they offered complimentary welcome drinks. Very lovely boutique hotel with pool/spa in the basement, as well as small fitness room. Would recommended this hotel many times over!

We had trouble booking online and instead booked via phone directly with the hotel. Therefore they refused to give us the Prado tickets because it was a web only promotion. They refused to refund any portion of the sub-par, over priced meal. Left an awful taste in our mouth regarding the whole stay.

It is clean, the cleaning ladies are coming a few time during the day to make sure everything is clean and if you need something. The bad was the most comfortable bad I ever had. And with the pillows you feel like you are sleeping in a cloud. I found my perfect hotel in Madrid, and will be back soon!

Cons: My high evaluation of value for money of this hotel is based on the special offer we booked (80 euros a night with breakfast included). However, when we asked about the price for our next stay in september, we were told the same room would cost 160 euros, which is too much for the amenities you get. In my opinion, this is a good 3stars hotel, but no more than that.

If all hotels used this one as an example of how to deal with customers from the point you enter it, travelling would be a lot more pleasant. It is the little things that they do so well and always cheerfully, they respond, they are good at what they do from the restaurant to the bar to reception and the doorman and porter. I dont know how they do it, but they need to keep the secret and keep it going!!

Cons: There is some construction in the streets surrounding the hotel, however this does not affect the hotel itself and there is no noise at night. In any case, if you are taking a car to the hotel check the roads that are cut off to avoid going in circles around Madrid city center.

Pros: Exquisite and stylish are the two words that conclude the hotel design. From the elegant entrance, tastefully furnished guest rooms, to the delightfully designed rooftop terrace, every corner of this hotel has been well thought out to create the best guest experience. The service was spotless, staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Upon arrival, we had issues finding the carpark and the concierge attended to us immediately. During our stay, I wanted to borrow the microwave to reheat some food, the staff not only helpfully agreed (this somewhat odd request!) but also brought it up in a gorgeous silver tray! Breakfast selection was excellent with both a choice of hot dish and a buffet that counted iberico ham among the selection! The serving staff made an effort to remember our coffee choice in the morning, which made us feel immensely at home. The location was perfect, right at the end of Gran Via, so it was quiet but central, with a view of the beautiful historical building of Sepblac. The key shopping areas and museums were only 10-15 walk away. The trendy restaurants of Chueca, as well as the Mercado de San Anton that was buzzing with locals in the evening, were also just a short walk from the back of the hotel. The room that we had was comfortable and compact. Given the hotel’s central location we were realistic about the average room size, but we were positively surprised by they made it all work within the space given, and how much they have modernised the interior while retaining the integrity of this historical building. There’s a cute little balcony where we could step out and bath in the early morning sun. The rooftop features two sections – one end offers a panoramic view of the city which is best viewed during sunset (we absolutely adored it!), the other end has a hidden bar featuring a leafy wall lined with chaise lounge where guests could bake in the sun at their leisure, or opt for a drink. There’s even an outdoor shower there!

Cons: When we arrived to the Hotel, there was a couple of women’s in the street, in front of main entrance, who told us they wanted to read our hands (like for good luck or destiny) we told them no thanks but they insisted and took 20 dlls from us, literally they took the money, we felt robbed. Pros: Clean, modern, spacious and welcoming; a lovely hotel. The rooftop pool and cafe bar are great, daytime and evening, lovely lobby bar and comfortable rooms. Reception staff so pleasant and helpful with maps and information and early check-in was no problem. Location is good, near Retiro park and metro stations, with cafes, bars, shops nearby and a nice walk into city centre.

Cons: We booked this hotel because of the pool. Unfortunately we could not use the pool 1 day because of the storm, the kids were very disappointed as we only been in the pool once. Also the day we were leaving their was a power cut which meant we could not use electric or have a good breakfast. No discount was offered.

The hotel seems oriented to business people. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. Toiletries were fun and an excellent range, Good television connection and range of channels. We enjoyed touring the other levels to seethe different ideas the architects had come up with. There are gym facilities which looked good although we didn’t use them.

Cons: Long wait to be checked in despite several staff being available. Room was upgraded - it was entirely black, dimly lit and made from a plastic like material (corian). This means that you cannot see in your room without a torch. Hotel is a disaster!

Cons: It surprised us that in this day and age the WiFi was not secure. There was no complimentary water,tea or coffee in the room which would have been welcoming, especially as prices for food and drinks in the hotel seemed unusually high. We could not find a hairdryer in the room. The mattress was a little on the firm side but this wouldn’t be a problem for everyone.

The price was so cheap we were a bit unsure of what we were going to turn up to, but we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the hotel was, spotlessly clean, tea and coffee in the room, staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Their friendliness and attention to detail was second to none. Each staff member went the extra mile to ensure my stay at their hotel was outstanding. The room was a perfect size with stunning views of Madrid. The morning breakfast had a huge selection of hot and cold foods, perfect to set you up for the rest of the day. As the adgit goes, it about location, location, location - and this Hotel is right bang smack in the middle of Madrid's tourist, restaurant and shopping areas.

Pros: The location is fantastic, but since I already know Madrid I knew this going it. It's about a block and a half from the Plaza Espana metro and it's very accessible to pretty much everything. I also liked that they had a free mini bar though there were just a couple of Pepsi's, bottles of waters, a couple of juice boxes, and an alcohol free beer. It was still a nice bonus. Another surprise was how big the bathroom was, nearly as big as the bedroom and there is a remote control for the bed that elivates it. The room was also really clean.

Pros: It was very relaxing staying in the hotel. Although you were in the city the rooms are soundproof and that was a great help. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel which was great. Also, I was with my parents and tea/coffee facilities in the room was great.

Cons: I was disappointed actually, despite of all the things I said prior. It's listed as a 4 star hotel so I had high expectations and it didn't meet them. The room was an interior room so there was no view, fair enough though, I guess they can't all be. There was only shampoo/ body gel in the shower, I'd fully expected if not tiny bottles of each, then dispensers for all three. Also the decor was quite outdated looking, not old fashioned in a tasteful way, but outdated. Like it was still stuck in the 80's. One other point, I was really excited about the spa, but that was the most disappointing part. No seperate changing rooms, 1/2 the jets didn't work and the jacuzzi was tepid, also the sauna was broken.

Initially booked 3 beds in a 10 bed room hostel, but was allocated to 8 bedrooms instead and coincidentally, there was no other people apart from the 3 of us. Was amazing

The nightshift guy who checked me in was really nice but theres one lady that was sitting on the couch i think shes a staff of owner or whatever i dont know and she gave me the dirtiest look and dont smile at all like i was not welcome. Lady, im a customer and i paid i dont know why is it so hard to give a bit of a smile, i owned a hostel back in Kuala Lumpur and i know how to treat my customers very well and i will make sure my staffs will do the same. This lady, she failed to do so. The rest of the staffs are super nice include the housekeeper lady in the morning. Thank you everybody, definitely recommended and will come back
