Barrio de Las Letras is a great base if you want to spend your days exploring Madrid’s world-class museums, such as Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum and Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum. Located east of Malasana, Chueca has been the centre of queer life in Madrid since the late 1980s.
