The location is fantastic and can’t be faulted.
This hotel doesn’t seem like a five star to me, definitely a solid four. There was a luke-warm reception when arriving, no one was at the door and there was no one to assist with bags or show us the room. Overall it wasn’t a very welcoming experience. There was a similar experience when trying to check out. The main receptionist at the desk was dealing with another guest however there was another receptionist (or staff member) at a different desk busy on her computer and ignoring me. I just placed my room keys on the desk and left as I couldn’t wait too long. There is also no valet parking, something which is usually quite common for five star properties (certainly is the case for the Villa Real which I’ve stayed at). I parked at the NH car park down the road and tried querying with staff whether there were any discounts due to us staying at an NH hotel. This was something which was never answered.
Great and central location, nicely equipped clean room.
Some of the room have no view something that should have been clear up front on booking.com had to pay extra for a street view rather than "wall view". This hotel is marketed as 5-star but far from it, most should be 4-star base on exiting facilities. Interaction with hotel staff varies from great to less than great depending on the person on duty. I find the night shift far more helpful, pleased and accommodating.
Fantastic location. The other aspects of the hotel were all good but it is only just 5 star it is right on the 4 / 5 star border i think. That said it worked well for us. staff were helpful when planning trips.
nicer rooms, they were fine but a bit small and the bathroom while well maintained and attractive was not big enough for all the things that had been put in so not as nice to use as it might have been.
Property and service as expected.
The Staff is great!
