Pros: Everything was great. But what tipped this over into “truly exceptional” for me was when I had a bit of a medical emergency at night. I tried legal cannabis for the first time and I... did not react well. I experienced what I could only describe as a full blown panic attack. I slapped the emergency button and babbled incoherently at whoever answered, convinced I was dying. A member of your staff came up and calmed me down. I was in too much of a state to register the person’s name, but I am eternally greatful for the help.

Cons: The view was not good (well, what you except in a city). The breakfast has to be taken in the restaurant in the same building, but they had only a poor choice (no continental breakfast and also no toast or bread at all; the "muesli" was announced with blackberry but there was only four smal pieces of strawberries; I also asked for a "muesli" without sugar, but it was full of sugar; no healthy food at all!). Very disaponting. One remark: they evening before we had a delicous dinner at the same restaurant.

Pros: This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel recently for 4-5 days. Both stays couldn’t have been better. The room was pristine and the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating. You can text requests for things like extra hangers or anything you might need during your stay. I checked in and out on the app, and used the app as my room key. I literally never one time had to go to the front desk during my entire stay for either visit. Any requests I made for things in my room (steamer, extra pillows, etc) were brought to my room within minutes. I honestly have never stayed at a hotel that is so consistently amazing. Highly recommended!!

Pros: This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel recently for 4-5 days. Both stays couldn’t have been better. The room was pristine and the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating. You can text requests for things like extra hangers or anything you might need during your stay. I checked in and out on the app, and used the app as my room key. I literally never one time had to go to the front desk during my entire stay for either visit. Any requests I made for things in my room (steamer, extra pillows, etc) were brought to my room within minutes. I honestly have never stayed at a hotel that is so consistently amazing. Highly recommended!!

Poor customer service for a hotel. At almost $400 CAD a room I could not be more disappointed with value for money. Will never stay again.

Cons: Very slow check-in. Long line up and then had to wait over an hour past the check in time for the room to be ready. Staff did not apologize for the wait or offer us a complimentary drink at the bar which would have gone a long way in keeping us happy. The staff seemed overwhelmed in general. Also very disappointed that there is no free wifi in the room and only 24 hours free in the lobby. For an expensive rate per night, we expected free wifi.

Cons: Approximately a week before arriving sent two emails requesting information on (i) did the light rail from SEATAC stop nearby the hotel; and, (ii) was there a nearby bank that I could exchange US dollars for Canadian dollars. Never received a response--even to say 'don't know'--to either email. As you might expect traveling to Canada, and that the Canadian responded within 24 hours to our email questions.

Pros: The valet guy Mo did an outstanding job for my husband and I. We can recognize that he is truly a hard worker, no matter if it’s early in the morning or late after midnight he always took care of us. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything that we didn’t need to drive.

Cons: First I felt that the staff was more concerned with each other than with the guests upon check in. Second, our room was HOT and we had the air turned all the way down, we called down to have someone come and look at it and no one ever came. Third, I had to call down twice to ask for 2 extra pillows. Fourth, The rooms are small for what you are paying. Fifth, we paid extra for a water view and our room was on the 7th floor and we could barely see the water over the buildings and trees. Sixth, we were returning from dinner and came in to wait for the elevator and one of the staff members ran over to us to try to get us to come up to their nightclub on the rooftop, he was quite pushy so they must be incentivized to recruit guests which we did not like. Seventh, there were some kind of baked goods sitting at the front desk which we were never offered and one of the other staff members ran over to grab one for herself instead of offering to guests. It just seemed as if no one was running this hotel or the employees and I would never stay there again.

Pros: The room was phenomenal, the staff was outstanding, and our stay was perfect even though it was only for one night. We spent the night for my fiancé’s 49th birthday and they accommodations and the staff made her feel like a princess. We will definitely be back!

Cons: I didn't like the fact that my request for a room with a nice view of the City was literally contradicted by giving me a room with a view of a wall and some dirt (rm 311). I also hated that the pillows stank of sweat and BO and i had to place a bath towel over my pillow in order to be able to sleep. I didn't say anything because I was only there for a night and had to focus on an important job interview and didn't want to ruin my mood and stay.

Also the wine selection was substandard .... one white ...one red. Monaco also served up hot chocolate ....popcorn ....snacks. None of that was offered here. I sincerely hope that Kimpton is not trying to save a few bucks and downgrade the experience. That would be a shame. And a reason to stay at a different hotel.

With the "grand view" suites, you get what can only be described as an awe-inspiring perspective of the Puget Sound itself, the ferry terminals, Bainbridge Island, and downtown Seattle. Additionally, you can't beat the location: half a block from the Westlake Center, giving you a direct route to the space needle via the monorail (a destination on its own), as well as King Street Amtrak Station and SeaTac via Link Light Rail in the subway tunnel.

Cons: Overall, my experience was a very good one. I will say, however, I have a few criticisms. The morning room service charge was astronomical: over $50 when the menu construed it to appear as though it would be around $30. And that doesn't include tip. The mini-fridge had no room for anything other than what the hotel stocked it with, and each beverage and snack inside is on a weight-sensor that charges you automatically if you lift an item off of it, so you can't move anything to accommodate, say, leftovers from a restaurant. The restaurant in the hotel is also somewhat incongrutitise with the overall feel and quietly of the hotel as well. Finally, the furnishing could be a bit more up to date for an establishment of this caliber and price range.

Cons: The room was basically a closet, the fact that it cost almost $250 and another $38 for parking is absolutely absurd. It's also terribly outdated. I would've stayed somewhere else had I known how disappointing and overpriced the room was.

Cons: $37 for valet and I had to get my own car. Under construction and very dirty. Room was super loud with the a/c being 5 feet from the window.

Pros: Location is excellent. The hotel has an "old world" charm. The rooms are smaller than newer hotels, but they are well-equipped for 1 person. The staff are very accommodating.
Cons: The hotel seems to be geared toward men. The welcome sleeve for the key cards was definitely off-putting - pictured on the front is a female about to bite into an apple, which is very suggestive. Believe it or not, this welcome sleeve is a powerful "document" which speaks to amenities, location, rewards program and future bookings.

Pros: The staff. The lady with the long nails and big earrings and the blonde lady with the BOB haircut. Meagan and the Filipino security with the lady on late shift too. Angel at the sports Bar you guys rock ❤️sorry I’m bad with names
Cons: The grumpy barista with the glasses in his late 40’s early 50’s who works in the evening! He really lets down the rest of the staff that are so fun and bubbly and helpful.

Cons: The room smelled. Had to buy febreeze and that helped. Bathrooms were awkward. Took a while for hot water to come for shower.

Cons: The room we were given had a wet smell to it. There was a leak coming from the ceiling in the shower. Certain areas of the room was dirty to the point we felt uncomfortable laying down at times. Unacceptable for a bargained price let alone for 850$ for 3 nights. Ridiculous!.visit at your own risk.

Cons: Definitely not even a one start.... No tv...no WiFi... Dirty filthy rooms Sheets and towels should be thrown away STAY AWAY..DO NOT STAY HERE...

Cons: there's no wifi connection in room. The "internet service" in description is all about a slow internet link in the lobby. You can expect that there will be about 5~10 people share this connection at the same time in evening.

Cons: This is a very old and worn out hotel. We think the room was clean but the carpet and the bedspread were stained. No A/C...when we asked we were told that we should have checked before booking

Cons: Old and shabby. The bathroom was disgusting. I wouldn’t enter the tub or shower without a tetanus shot. Seriously! It made a motel 6 look luxurious. Do not recommend this to your customers! In fact, take them off your option list. Did I mention that the staff was rude and disinterested.

Cons: Light shines thru room windows without darkening shades in the night. Guy at the front desk for the DAY SHIFT was cocky, unfriendly and unhelpful. I'll never go back to Hotel Seattle because of him.
