Cons: I was a little disappointed in the size of our room and the view that we had. As this was a big occasion for my wife and I (anniversary and last holiday before our newborn arrives) we were disappointed to have no view at all and a small room.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Bathroom was missing toilet paper. There was trash on the floor by the bathtub. Suspect that the pillows and mattress were old. Allergies went into overdrive during the night. Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

Great polite staff always ready to help, really lovely breakfast (newly also with fresh orange juice press) to fuel your day, and always spotless clean with great comfy beds. Cons: The only minus was couple of young kids having a loud chat with some door banging above us. Obviously not the fault of the hotel! We are good sleepers, so were able to fall asleep, but it would be a problem for someone with problems falling asleep. As always when travelling, ear plugs are recommended!

The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

And another family was waiting for check in. We tried to call host for half an hour, but with no results. We left the building glad that this journey is over for us.

Cons: The street was quite loud until 2am, but this is an issue with many properties in a big bustling city like Rome. Just bring some ear plugs. The only real issue that I would point out to prospective bookers, is that there was a door in our room connecting to the adjacent room and this door did not appear to be secure. It was thin, louvered, and did not have a lock on our side. There was a keyhole that someone had stuffed toilet paper in to prevent anyone seeing through. Even though I can physically handle myself, I blocked the door with furniture and luggage before sleeping. However, I would not want my kids, especially daughters, to stay in this room. To management- this is an inexpensive issue to address. Just get a solid core door and install two locks, one on each side. Other than this, the stay was perfect.

Cons: There is no swimming pool, which is a MAJOR inconvenience if staying there on the summer months. The gym is ridiculously small. They only have a couple of treadmills, 1 elliptical machine, a bunch of very lightweight dumbbells and a multifunctional machine. Everything thing in a very, very small room. The room will be open between 7am and 23.00 (if you like to do your exercises at 6.09, like myself, it will not happen). The food is quite expensive, but good.

Pros: 1. Federico at the front desk was extremely helpful. We had two days where we had to leave before breakfast and he prepared lunch bags for us that were very nice. He was also very willing to help us with our plans for each day. 2. The morning breakfasts were good. 3. It was nice to be so close to Trastevere.
Cons: 1. The carpet on our floor was strange to us. It was clean, just had a very odd set of pictures. 2. The room design was odd, not like other hotels we used. It seemed like someone who didn't have hotel design school experience put it together - not efficient. 3. I am not sure if hotels in Rome have indoor pools, but we were hoping for one, especially since this was so large.

Pros: The art theme was excellent and I really enjoyed that aspect of the stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very large.
Cons: The room was in desperate need of a deep cleaning, painting, and carpet change. Also, the walls the divided the bath from the room were made of particle board which had been water damaged and looked as if pieces were missing.

Cons: It was not overly clean, the staff were not that helpful and the lines to collect keys was just silly. You hand in your giant key before leaving for the day and on return you wait in a line before you can access your room again. The concept of not carrying the key is fantastic however the process of lining up is just not quiet seamless. The rooms are ok, they could do with a freshen up.

Pros: Beautiful location away from the crowds. Our room—the Junior Suite with its large terrace—had stunning views over the city. Walking distance to everything.
Cons: This may sound trivial but our suite with its large terrace was surely popular with people who might enjoy a wine. Most bottles in Italy are cork rather than cap sealed. And there was no cork screw. Reception told me to ask the restaurant for one. They told me to bring down the bottle—a bottle that was chilling in the fridge as bottles aren’t commonly sold chilled here. Tiny thing I know but attention to detail.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Absolutely awful breakfast. noone from the staff pay attention to you. The salad was spoiled, pineapples turn sour. I will never stop in this hotel. it may have 2 star, not 4!

Cons: the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Pros: My family stayed here for 4 nights and had a great stay. One of the rooms’ air conditioning didn’t work, so the hotel staff switched rooms for us for the 2nd night. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Location was great - about 15 minute walk from Vatican. Restaurants and shopping within a few blocks as well. Would recommend!

Cons: The shower was filthy and riddled with mould. The shower screen door was basically hanging off. There was no blind on our door the first day, however one did magically appear the second day. Everything felt old and far from “4 stars”. Wifi signal was dismal, half the machines in the gym were broken, the rooftop spa was green and slimy.

Cons: Main problem ... no hot water and staff seems to think that it is normal. Also, the towels do not seems to be clean. Actually, I was originally quite happy with the hotel ... its excellent location (walking distance from Roma Train Station). The staff appeared to be very friendly and we were able to get a kettle despite none is originally available at the room. We stayed five nights, but then small problems started to creep up. First, the kettle we first got did not really work, and the staff was friendly and changed a working one for us eventually. Then, most of the power sockets in the room are type L, instead of the tighter C or F, and the adapters we have often got disconnected or fall out. Loose socket connection is actually a safety hazard! Also, the refrigerator in room was not really that cold, the staff tried to help but it didn't really get it fixed. Then on the last night, there was no hot water, which was really bad considering it was August and we spent the whole day out in the sun. When we call the front desk, the reply was water pressure was low and not much they can do. That was a first for me, and checking the web, I found that this is a well complained problem, making it even worse (from my perspective). System does not seem to respect (and hence be able to respond to) customer complaints ! It is really a dent for me, after having a great 24 day tour in Italy and Greece.

Pros:
Cons: You have to pay for a 5 Star Hotel pool extra. You have to pay 15€ extra to stay at the Hotel Pool, thats absouletyl ridiculuous. our Room costed 680€ for 3 Nights, we had a special room but the Pool and not even the Breakfast were included! Absolute Rip Off, only reason why we even got the Hotel was because of the Pool. Best for you is to get a hotel closer to the city and if you really wanna swim there are amazing hotels with a pool where you pay less entrance! The Hotel Charged me 36€ Breakfast a night for two people and all you get is a couple of scrambled Eggs!

Cons: ATMs at Radisson, were a scam & ran out of euros,still charged us for amount we requested even though their ATM was out of Money. We informed the front desk,they were unable to fix the situation,this happens frequently there was no out of order sign.

Pros: It was comfortable and staff were very polite and helpful.
Cons: The fact that u had to pay a very high price to use the pool as a in house guest. 15 euro to go for a swim in the pool of the hotel you are staying at is terrible .

Cons: We had second best room you can get and was pretty basic. Any of the good facilities from the hotel were extra to pay, we had a friend staying locally that was made to pay $50 to come to the pool even though we spent money on food and lunch and drinks, & we saw a family with small children being made to pay at 6pm when the pool closed in an hour, you could see they were very uncomfortable. We weren’t blown away, we also asked for shower gel twice and both times no one brought it to our room. Not worth the money sadly.

Cons: Breakfast was chaos. No plates, no clean glasses, and a coffee machine in ROME?! I was only offered a real cappucino the morning I checked out. Room service and bar service overpriced.
