Cons: Not much I didn't like. I suppose if you're looking for a hotel with grand views this is not it. One side faces the smaller side street and the other to a central courtyard; I personally didn't mind at all.

Cons: The spa is a scandal for a five hotel facility it is in very bad condition not well serviced or supervised and over crowded. We could not believe it !!! The hairdresser facility is also very very basic !! Even though staff were friendly. The bathrooms need refurbishing.

Cons: - the breakfast is not cheap & worth, there are very littles choices - the staff who in charging breakfast is very rude. He forgot our order and come back to ask us again after 15 minutes. Then i told him, i was rushing to next destination as request to make it ASAP, he promised yes, but he did not inform the kitchen. When i was leaving the breakfast place, he was shouting loudly and show his anger to his another colleague This is extremely bad for a 5-star hotel !! They compensate us breakfast on another day but we did not accept the offer as they talked rudely on the phone and ask us to attend to the breakfast on next morning. Very disappointed on their service

The room was very nicely appointed, albeit a bit small/crowded for two people, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They even have a pillow menu to choose other options if you would like.
Highlight: from the restaurant, which serves a lovely breakfast in the morning, you have a beautiful view of the Colosseum. It's a great way to start the day!

Cons: They market the apartment Suites as part of Relais and Chateaux and then before youre arrival they send email that apartments is not part of Relais and Chateaux. Nowhere it was mentioned on the booking.com site that we would have to walk four blocks from the apartment to the hotel for breakfast. After discussing it with management they offered a 20 percent discount or an alternative in one of their cheaper hotels but at the same price with only a continental breakfast in the room. Apartments are really dark...bad lighting. Stayed all over Italy and this was the only bad experience we've encountered. The rooms market under Hotel Palazzo Manfreddi is really misleading Breakfast staff also very unfriendly

Pros: We stayed at the Hotel just before Christmas and found it to be amazing. The hotel itself and the rooms were exceptional. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were beyond our expectations after being provided with a fab upgrade. We used the spa facilities to treat ourselves after a hectic year and found the receptionist Eugeniya to be simply lovely. She could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We had numerous treatments with different therapists who were all very good but special recognition must be given to Monica and Bernadette for the most amazing massages they provided on our last day. The staff in the Restaurant and Bar must also be given a mention because they were very helpful and attentive in a very pleasant and professional way. All in all it was a superb stay and we will definitely be returning.

Cons: Breakfast was OK .. but glad we were there for only 3 days as it was the same very day and would be a little boring any longer. For such an expensive hotel it is surprising that the 'breakfast included' room rate was only continental .. if you wanted anything extra (like a pancake etc) you had to pay extra. Location was nice and central but beware if you come over the weekend it is extremely noisy outside at night time .. think competing bars with all different types of loud music playing. We were on the first floor over looking the main street. Shame that they decided to charge c. 5Euros for a small bottle of water in the room. When you pay 700-800 per night you would at least expect complimentary water.

Cons: I could not use the telephone in the room to make calls. The technician came to have a quick try for about 15 seconds and then left. He did not speak English. So we did not know what happened. But the telephone was still not working. Anyway, it was not a big problem for us.

Cons: There isn't much to do nearby - location was just okay. It seemed very quiet with a lot of empty restaurants around the block. When we checked-in, the extra bed wasn't ready. Front desk staff Daniela is very rude. She was visibly irritated when I asked for the breakdown of charges, and when I asked to pay for the rooms with cash instead of a credit card. When I inquired about some of the charges I didn't recognize, she got even more irritated because she had to check other records! She couldn't even add up 2 rooms properly and assumed I didn't give her enough cash! And then she aggressively gave back all the cash when I was just asking for the change. She even raised her voice at me twice when I asked for her name (I didn't need to ask as they all wear name tags. It was out of courtesy). "why?!!! Why do you need my name?!!!" I thought she was going to grab the pen and paper out of my hands!! (I was just going to reference her in case the email she promised to send didn't arrive.) One other staff had to come over and try to smooth things over and apologize for her.

Pros: Splendid hotel with a small private pool and garden- has amazing LA payed back vibe, it opened a couple of years ago after renovation - so the rooms are in really nice condition, loved the bed- comfortable mattress and nice pillows. The hotel is perfect for couples, friends , young adults - Pacifico Restaraunt ( Michelin recommended) is downstairs , located in the beautiful garden, the place is also great for Pre-party drinks, Raspoutine club is around the corner. The room was not very big but had high celilings, a nice and big shower, Aqua di Parma toiletries and bathrobes. I was a bit concerned it could be noisy but we had a quiet room. For breakfast I loved that they cooked scrambled eggs or omelette and it was tasty. We also asked for check -out at 1 pm and it was nice it was provided

Cons: The breakfast was quite limited due to the small space - I could eat yougurts and scrambled eggs - so that was perfect for me. Wi-fi was not working in the lobby on the weekend probably because of the amount of people using it. The hair drier was not very effective and the room lacked the full-length mirror ( there were mirrored parts of the closet - so I could use it , but would love a full-length mirror inside

The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Pros: This hotel was wonderful. Very beautifully decorated with wonderful public spaces were you could sit and relax. The staff was inviting and professional plus very helpful. The rooms were very quit. Would stay here again. It was also only about a 7 minute walk to the Train Station. Lots of good restaurants in the area plus the Hotel had a very lovely restaurant and bar. Breakfast was more then expected and very nicely presented.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Cons: We were late for our train had already paid for our room. I have stayed in four and five star hotels plenty. Not saying we didn't look young or scruffy but in no way we're we staying above our means. We tried to leave quickly in the morning they assumed we trashed the room they locked us inside the lobby, and threatened to call the police if we left before they checked. So I tried to explain they had my credit card and passport on file and I would give them my phone number if there were any issues my best friend who I was traveling with pleads with him in Italian and he starts yelling at my friend physically restraining him. It was disgusting behavior for a four star hotel. Also there was no gym which they advertised they had and essentially was the only reason we booked the hotel. This would never fly any where else I have stayed it was truly deplorable, but more then that I was just disappointed to have had search for a place that seemed nice and welcoming and comfortable, a break from the rest of our journey, and instead been sucked into a place with so little respect for its clientele. It's on a horribly touristy street filled with a couple bad restaurants a Hard Rock Cafe and a strip club. Although there is a fantastic wine shop around the corner with a very sweet owner.

Pros: Nice location on the Via Venito close to the Metro station. Lots of very good restaurants nearby and walking distance to the Spanish Steps. The service was wonderful and most of the front desk staff spoke English. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Cons: The bathroom was very tight. The wifi worked well in the lobby, but our room was at the far end of the third floor hall and the signal was off and on.

Pros: The location is perfect. Really nice breakfast. Nice spaces for chat with friends. Very kind and helpful staff.
Cons: There was no control of heating/air-conditioning in every room.
