Pros: Artimede had the most wonderful, engaging staff. So professional & helpful. Food in the restaurant & breakfast room was excellent. Would recommend paying the €14/person for breakfast. The room was well equipped, a comfortable bed & excellent reliable wifi. Spacious bathroom too. The hotel is well located with easy walking to Termini & also tourist sites. Highly recommended

Pros: This is the best Hotel in Rome. As I made a mistake with the day of my return, I am coming back to the hotel right now! Everything at Hotel Artemide is made with care and consequently our stay cannot be better. The personal is very attentive not only because they gave me an upgrade, but also because they spoil you with care and attention. The rooms are fantastic and they have an excellent breakfast. At the breakfast room very attentive people will be there to offer you a continental and / or an Italian delicious one. You will be at a walking distance from Termine Central Station however a cab will cost almost nothing and it will help if it is raining. As you will be close to the subway station Rome will be on your hands. Vi ringrazio tantissime volte Sr David e Ivan. A pesto

Pros: Amazing hotel. Staff was super friendly, great breakfast and we drove into to town illegally and staff got us a city permit so we can avoid paying a ticket. They went above and beyond for us. The breakfast had tons of variety as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Pros: This is a very comfortable Hotel, with a very nice staff from the moment you arrive until checking out. Rooms are cozy and depending on availability they will not hesitate to upgrade your room choice, it happened to me three times. The breakfast is very good with options for vegan and non vegan guests. The personal at the breakfast room is extremely careful. They will spoil you. They also have an excellent restaurant. You might remember to book it. The location is perfect to explore Rome and any other city.It is close to the central station Termine, in a good distance not to disturb you. The Via Nazionale is an important street with outstanding shops and restaurants. What else? Thank you Mr David, Mr Ivan, Mr Francesco. I hope to come back to this friendly hotel.

Pros: Everything - mainly the service from staff , the little things I called up to ask if the roof top pool was open they told me unfortunately not due to the season , when I returned to my room I received a letter saying they are happy to open the rooftop for us to take pictures - they even give out portable charging blocks to guests to ensure they always have phone charge Honestly every little detail in this hotel is exceptional , power in our room tripped out a few times but no drama they upgraded us straight away to a different room Room cleaning service I would say is hands down the best I have ever seen , the rooms are done twice a day everything replenished , on par with the cleaning service in Dubai Location - metro metro metro so easy to get everywhere ! The concierge recommended the most amazing restaurants we ended up going there twice ! He was genuinely pleased when we informed him - “il falchetto” I think

Cons: I would say the property was perfect Never did use the restaurant did feel a little pretentious when we went to order a drink but I think they are trying to get a Michelin so each to there own , it still looked beautiful and actually reasonably priced

Pros: Stayed there for 5 nights and did not regret it at all. The hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was exceptional and the room was quite comfortable to stay. The location is amazing, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, and about 20 minutes to the Termini railway station. If i had to visit Rome again, I would definitely consider this hotel.

Cons: The rooms were too hot, and the air conditioning unit didn’t work which meant I needed to open a window all night. The noise was awful, cats screeching, and youths hang around on steps just outside again so noisy. The plugs where you can charge phones didn’t work and my mother in law had a tv with a wire hanging out but with no plug to make it work.

Pros: Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights in February for our first wedding anniversary! The hotel was stunning and they staff couldn’t do enough for us. When the hotel found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our room and provided us with a complimentary bottle of bubbly! I would definitely recommended this hotel and will consider this place if I return to Rome! Thank you!

Pros: Spacious well appointed room. We stayed 6 nights very comfortably. Bathroom was ok too and housekeeping was very efficient. We had a modern tilt & turn window meaning we could safely leave this open for fresh air day or night (not all rooms have this though!!). Breakfast was always very busy but had something for everyone, we had no complaints as there was such a good choice. Would definitely stay here again. Great central location.

Pros: Spacious well appointed room. We stayed 6 nights very comfortably. Bathroom was ok too and housekeeping was very efficient. We had a modern tilt & turn window meaning we could safely leave this open for fresh air day or night (not all rooms have this though!!). Breakfast was always very busy but had something for everyone, we had no complaints as there was such a good choice. Would definitely stay here again. Great central location.
Cons: This is not a negative, just an observation. I don't particularly like a shower over a bath with a shower curtain but that is just personal preference. I think a shower cubicle is far more acceptable these days.

Cons: All three sides of the hotel are situated along busy streets so there was a large amount of street noise each evening and early morning. Temperature in room ran on the warmer side - Upon return to room each evening it felt stuffy and stagnant.

Pros: The spacious clean room was a welcome place to return to after the hot crowded streets of Rome. The beds were so clean and comfortable, we slept peacefully. The hotel was modern where it needed to be, but with a nice historical vibe. Great location.
Cons: The exercise room could use better air flow and a second treadmill, since this is the most popular exercise machine in most hotels. I didn't have to wait too long for the treadmill, but the air flow was limited.

Pros: The hotel has good location close to the centre of Rome and although it was not relatively close to city attractions it was quite quiet. My room was quite big (by Rome standards) with large and comfortable bed and large and clean bathroom.
Cons: The hotel staff ignored my request sent by e-mail to the reception desk to e-mail me a copy of a receipt for my stay, that I forgot to take at check-out, which I find being a sign of ignorance. Now my company will not reimburse me this cost and I will have to cover it from my own income. Inside my room whilst it was relatively spacious it was always dark because the windows were facing an opposite wall that was very close. It think that this is a feature of all other rooms that are not facing the street. The hotel is popular with Chinese tourists (saw a big crowd of them) and I was lucky not catching coronavirus being there just before that tragic outbreak in Italy.

Cons: Bed was to hard for me. Hurt my back but I requested a mattress pad the day before checkout. I left my room all day and when I got back to the room the mattress pad was on the bed providing me a comfortable night sleep. Should have asked for it two days earlier.

Cons: The rooms we’re boiling hot and no way to cool other than opening a window which then meant noisy traffic. Made it hard to sell with the heat and noise. Raised it with reception but they stated nothing can be done as the room air conditioners are all set to 27C and heat only, if I’d known this I defiantly wouldn’t have booked. Lastly, bathrooms are dated and in need of updating, especially for a supposed 5 star hotel.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

The hotel was in a great location, short walk to the colosseum and forum and the metro was just at the end of the street. The hotel was clean and there was a good variety of food available at breakfast. All round a good hotel in a great location with very friendly staff, would highly recommend if you’re staying in Rome.

I asked if I could borrow/hire a kettle but was told there was one in the breakfast room which there was but when you want a drink in your room it is of no use. I never checked this facility just assumed it was included as it’s a four star hotel. Our room was adequate if small but that’s what we booked and paid for but the air con noise from outside took some getting used to. The inner courtyard view was not what I expected. Looking down between the opposite wall there was green artificial hessian that was masquerading as grass! Not really a view but it didn’t detract from our stay.

Cons: I messaged the hotel several days ahead of our stay requesting a double bed (one single mattress) as I have a bad back, only to find two rather uncomfortable single beds pushed together upon our arrival. Unfortunately I was informed that all of the double beds were booked and there was nothing they could do. There was building work being carried out at the property which came with no prior warning. The stairs were out of action as a result so had to rely on the lift which was a little temperamental. Also had to listen to banging from around 08:00 each morning. Breakfast was very average, the single toaster they had took a good 5 minutes to lightly toast the bread (no exaggeration).

Cons: I have been in other hotels from the NH group, and this is the first time when I have not been completely happy with my stay. I had problems comunicating with some of the staff. They have a nametag indicating which languages they speak and, for some of them, it was very difficult to comunicate in english or spanish even if it was indicated that they could speak both languages. It was also problematic that they didn't actually tell you that they were not following, so I thought we were comunicating just fine until they didn't do anything or didn't answer what had been asked. Another thing was that the trash was not taken out one day while we were there. It only happened one day (probably they forgot after doing the other things in the room), but still.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful. Staff was pleasant and spoke english and Spanish. I went in February and dont remember the name of the attendant, but he was very pleasant and upgraded our room. The location was great! 15 minutes walking from most of the sites- Spanish Steps, Fountain of Trevi, and the Colosseum. I will definitely return to this hotel! Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

But the most unpleasant thing was the man working at the reception. Grumpy and unlikable through and through. When I had an issue with a beauty product caused by the cleaning staff he called that person to my room even though the man didn't speak a word of English, so we could effectively not solve the problem.

Alessandro and umberto were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good value at two euros for a lovely coffee and croissant at the local bar. The location was very good for seeing the sights of Rome.

Cons: There should be a minibar and tea/coffee maker according to booking.com listed facilities but there was no such. WiFi was terrible. Too much noise from the streets at night (we couldn’t close the window not to suffocate as it was too hot) Breakfast is not cancellable :(

Pros: The B&B is very well located: 20 minutes walk from Roma Termini and well connected with buses. The accommodation is very basic and not luxurious, but the room was spacious, clean and very calm. There is a television and a fridge in the room, both worked. The facility has an elevator, which is very convenient. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day. Good value for the price, great for a short stay.
Cons: The head shower can't be adjusted to a precise height, which is a little bit annoying. The lighting is not very good and the beds may be too soft for some people. We had no service at our arrival and were told to pick up an envelope which contained the keys, instructions and a map from Roma. This was fine for is, but could be less appreciated by other people.

Cons: For management: We were very disappointed by our stay. Six weeks ago, we were offered someone to come get us at the airport and they did not come. They told us to take a taxi. We were scammed by a unlicensed “fake” taxi driver because they did not show up or properly communicate with us on time. We were not offered any compensation for this issue. The hostel person who checked us in basically shrugged it off. The room: The room you will stay in resembles the pictures on the website, but aged 10 years. There were bugs in the bathroom. Staff was hardly present. The pictures on the website did not match the true description of what was offered on the website. I would not recommend this hostel, even for the price. Spend a few extra euros for a nicer place, or find an airbnb. The pictures we most likely taken years ago. The place is dingy and dark, not bright like the photos. There is no breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family member or friend. The city: Please be aware of scammers left and right. Read up on pick pockets, scam artists, beggars, and taxi drivers. Do not accept any “free help”, as they will ask you for compensation. Anyone will say anything to get some money from you, including a nice storyline of whatever you want to hear. Please read up on a Rick Steeves book, or Reddit forum before you travel. Other than the historical sites, the city is in disrepair, unorganized, loud, and dirty. The only good thing we experienced from this city was the food.

Cons: The only negative thing that I can say is that I was not aware that the reception is only manned up to 8pm at night although apparently it is mentioned, and there is a thirty euro charge for late check-in. Because of bad mobile connection in the area my texts did not get through to Franco and we waited nearly an hour for him to come and let us in at 11pm.

Cons: The room was quite stuffily and for this reason wet. Towels were replaced only once and they smelled like vinegar. It was very noisy because of cars outside and people in other rooms. Also bathroom was moldy.
