Pros: This is a beautiful hotel just outside of Rome. The views are spectacular and the restaurant fantastic. It is easy to travel into central Rome. The hotel provides a free transfer to the station, and it is 20 minutes on the train to Valle Aurelia station. All that said, the best thing was the attentiveness and generosity of the staff.

Pros: A castle - who can beat that? This was a beautiful old old castle fixed up as a hotel with a great restaurant. I loved the breakfast buffet, typical Italian with all kinds of goodies. I loved all of it. We ate lunch there too and it is quite the celebration. Inside had some incredible art, and the front desk people spoke very good English, all of the staff did, we were very thankful for that. We explored the grounds, but maybe we were 'off season' as the hedges needed trimming, the pool was green, we also found underground passageways that the employees knew nothing about. Very close to Rome so was amazingly good for our last two nights in Italy. Put beach in the gps and it was 15 minutes away to an amazing sunset over the sea.

Cons: Everything was good, and like I mentioned above, it must have been off season. There was some deferred maintenance and the pool was very green.

Pros: Wonderful friendly staff and great food.

Cons: Breakfast was poor. Rooms unclean. Initially in annex next to car park, No curtains in bath room, Bed creaked, changed room and next room had a smell of vomit in bathroom. Both bathrooms had a really poor shower that spayed all over the bathroom. Second room had water pooled around bidet. Fee was charged per person to use the hotel pool! Pool seemed to be open to the public. First day arrived to find that chlorine had been put in pool and therefore could not swim - disappointing. Such a shame as the staff were really lovely but the hotel needs a fortune spending on it.

Pros: We stayed at 3 castles in Italy and this was by far the best for food and customer service. They welcomed us the best with rose petals on the bed and champagne. The food was incredible! The best we had on the whole trip. We wished we had stayed longer!

Cons: Loved everything!

Pros: Super location, really great being in a mini castle. LOVED the sauna and the friendly staff. Had a great supper as well.

Cons: The breakfast was a little disappointing. Also, watch out when you order a taxi from there, they start the clock before you get into the taxi itself.

Cons: Too isolated

Pros: Beautiful old castle which we based ourselves in the night before flying home from Rome. It was an easy 30mjn drive to the airport the next day. Fab little spa bath in the room, perfect way to relax after a long drive. Restaurant on site and in the summer a wonderful outdoor pool

Cons: The pillows could do with a face lift as they were very flat. No wine glasses in the room however the restaurant staff were quick to bring them up along with a bottle opener

Pros: Very cozy atmosphere, comfortable and a place to relax. The garden is awesome.

Cons: The floor cleanliness is not at the level excepted.

Pros: Very helpful, friendly staff who were happy to give us information of local interest and for our ultimate destination area. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant, their recommended places to eat were excellent, and the family restaurant we chose was just across the road.

Cons: A kettle in the room would be nice.

Cons: Walls in rooms were dirty, bathroom too small. Poor internet.

Pros: The hotel and mainly the staff were good and very supportive. We loved the room and the location was under my planning.

Cons: I thought the breakfast a little poor, but not bad. Main problem was that they use the external area of hotel for night events. During my night until 12:30 PM there was a 18 years party very noisy. I was not informed about before my reservation.

Pros: It was great for us as we have three small children Plenty of play area, green space and quiet The staff were lovely

Pros: The reception staff were all wonderful, helpful and quick to provide services. Even at 4 am, they were professional and attentive to our requests.

Cons: Very weak wifi. I went outside in the reception hall to do my assignments and take my tests. I could hardly get any wifi signal in my room. Hair dryer was very weak as well.

Pros: The hotel is quiet and relaxing. Our room (201) was excellent and spacious. The breakfast selection was limited in terms of choice, but tasty and well presented. There is a small bar, attended by the receptionist. Prices are reasonable.

Cons: It is not an great location for rail travel into the city centre, or airport although one end of the Metro system is approx. 10 mins drive away. It is however ideally located for the ring road if you are driving. There is one restaurant and a small supermarket within walking distance

Pros: The hotel was nice and in a good area. The wait staff was fantastic and the food at the restaurant was quite nice. Convenient to the Vatican and there was hotel parking so no hassle finding street parking.

Cons: They said their pool was small but it was extremely small. That was a key feature for the kids and due to the heat in August/Sept, and it was a bit disappointing.

Pros: We initially booked 2 nights in a standard room for 3 people, at the check in we were told that our room was upgraded. We decided to extend our stay for 2 more days and the gentleman at the reception gave us the same room without charging us extra.The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of information about the city and how to move around using metro and public transport.

Cons: The breakfast was the same every day and a very small variety. But the dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and the portions were huge.

Pros: We were upgraded to a bigger 2 bedrooms suites instead of family room.

Pros: The hotel was very nice and clean, it was in a Great neighborhood! The front desk staff was very nice and the people living in the neighborhood were great, It was very quiet and about a 20 minute walk to Vatican City which was nice! The breakfast was amazing and great way to start the day! After check out the front desk held our bags for us all day while we went to Vatican City, which was awesome to not have to carry them around or worry about them at all.

Cons: They offered a free shuttle to Vatican City and we were told about it at check in and that we could use it if/when we wanted to go there but when we went to go get on the shuttle in the morning we actually found out that you needed to make a reservation for the time we wanted to go(this wasn't necessarily a problem for us because Vatican City was only a 20 min walk away but I could see how this would be a problem for some), they just need to clarify that at check in.

Pros: Good selection for breakfast. Only few minutes walk for subway to centre or Vatican

Cons: Mattresses in room very hard, a topper on it would do the job.

Pros: Friendly staff, not bad overall.

Cons: Breakfast was horrible. Eggs tasted weird, coffee was basic. Attention to detail in hotel was poor. Little mould in room corner.

Pros: room is large and balcony of the room is very nice. Restaurant in the hotel is good and staff very nice. However I found a very nice restaurant 5 minutes walk called Acquacotta .... amazing, very good seafood.

Cons: Bar and Langue are not very nice with not too much room

Cons: Noisy, door slams quite a lot, park/grass area at the back of the property with continuous dog barking early in the morning, I advise not to stay in room 307 or along that row of rooms where the dog walkers go. Gym was very small but ok

Pros: Nothing actually The only think that was ok is the at they where very helpful in a way. Of course they could not do a lot about the way that the hotel Managment . The owners do nothing to improve the quality of the facilities and keep the customers satisfied. One of the stuff in the reception was very helpful. Her name is Anca. Thanks Anca I know you could do more if you could but it was not up to you. Thanks for all the help. She was the best.

Cons: 1) No good location very far from town. 2) The hours of the shuttle were not very good. And the last one 6:30 pm to return to the hotel was very soon. 3) The Aircondition was functionalists . And it was smelling terrible. We had to open the window in August that is so hot to breath. The air from outside wasn’t more cool than the air in the room. My asthma was worse from the air circulation so I had to use my nebulizer and start my asthma medicine . When I asked for someone to check it out and clean the filters the stuff respond immediately but problem was not solved. The Aircondition’s were so so old . They need to be replaced . 4) The Hot water in the shower was smelling like a sewage. 5)We could not adjust the cold and hot water in the shower. Either we where cold or burnt. 6) Breakfast invisible. To to to pour. Not enough for 4 Star Hotel. When I asked for some boiled eggs at 9:00 am the waitress said sorry the kitchen is closed. The only hot food in the morning was the scrambled eggs. The croissants were not fresh at all. The pictures below are all from the bedroom , the a/c and the bed that left dirty after the cleaning of the Aircondition filters. The cleaner just covers the bedsheets with the cover of the bed with no even bothered to change the bedsheets and mopping the room after the technician clean Vacuum and brush the inside of the a/c that by the way is decide the bed only 50cm away so all the dust and dirt was latterly on the bed. Sad very sad.

Cons: Our original booking payment was taken 2 weeks early and not upon arrival. I was overcharged €80 euros from original booking price. Bit far from city with no real shops/restaurants nearby Showers are tiny and you need to sit down in them.

Cons: Shortage of hot water at 8.45AM.

Pros: It was very save, car could also be parked inside closed gate. It was not to far from city centre. The staff were friendly.

Cons: The room was very old and the beds uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very old and therefor seemed dirty.

Pros: Friendly staff. We didn't have a adaptor for the Italian plug points in the room but the reception was was then happy to lend us one.

Cons: Bus or Taxi journey from the location to nearest attractions but not bad. Plenty of parking at the hotel if you had a car. Gated access for safety.

Pros: Peaceful, well run, efficient and helpful for foreigners

Pros: Hmmm, 4 our of 10 It is not a Hotel, it’s like pension. I don’t wanna say anything bad about it, but it is not our choice for next time. Great potential to be improved if management want it.

Pros: Spacious clean big bathroom .homemade soup was great
