Pros: The Hotel was beautiful and the details were well thought out and I was impressed with Boscolo Exedra.
Cons: Be very careful if you book this hotel through a third party booking service. They did not honor my booking and the entire check in was long and delayed. The Hotel Boscolo charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals even after I showed and emailed them the copy of the booking. Very frustrating and I am still dealing with it weeks later.

Pros: We had a room overlooking the Colosseum and although it was little pricier than we like to spend on a hotel room, it was worth every penny. Pretty much everything about the experience was awesome and a lot better than we anticipated. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped. The hotel itself was gorgeous and service was impeccable. Each staff person we passed was friendly and professional. Breakfast in the upstairs restaurant was a surreal experience with an unbelievable view. The atmosphere in the downstairs bar was upscale, yet not stuffy. This was the perfect hotel to end our trip on and budget permitting, we would definitely stay there again.

The room was very nicely appointed, albeit a bit small/crowded for two people, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They even have a pillow menu to choose other options if you would like.
Highlight: from the restaurant, which serves a lovely breakfast in the morning, you have a beautiful view of the Colosseum. It's a great way to start the day!

Cons: We had the tub/shower combo in a room overlooking the Colosseum which required a lot of thought to make work since the (tub) faucet was against the wall. It was very pretty, but a not all that practical. If you have any mobility issues ask for a room with just a shower (like our friends had) and you should have no problem. Bacon would have been nice for breakfast but the homemade pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice made up for it.

Cons: They market the apartment Suites as part of Relais and Chateaux and then before youre arrival they send email that apartments is not part of Relais and Chateaux. Nowhere it was mentioned on the booking.com site that we would have to walk four blocks from the apartment to the hotel for breakfast. After discussing it with management they offered a 20 percent discount or an alternative in one of their cheaper hotels but at the same price with only a continental breakfast in the room. Apartments are really dark...bad lighting. Stayed all over Italy and this was the only bad experience we've encountered. The rooms market under Hotel Palazzo Manfreddi is really misleading Breakfast staff also very unfriendly

Bathroom was missing toilet paper. There was trash on the floor by the bathtub. Suspect that the pillows and mattress were old. Allergies went into overdrive during the night. Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

It wasnt too expensive either. Front desk staff was generally very helpful in booking taxis, arranging late checkout, answering questions... It's just too bad one of them really had a bad attitude.

Cons: I could not use the telephone in the room to make calls. The technician came to have a quick try for about 15 seconds and then left. He did not speak English. So we did not know what happened. But the telephone was still not working. Anyway, it was not a big problem for us.

Cons: There isn't much to do nearby - location was just okay. It seemed very quiet with a lot of empty restaurants around the block. When we checked-in, the extra bed wasn't ready. Front desk staff Daniela is very rude. She was visibly irritated when I asked for the breakdown of charges, and when I asked to pay for the rooms with cash instead of a credit card. When I inquired about some of the charges I didn't recognize, she got even more irritated because she had to check other records! She couldn't even add up 2 rooms properly and assumed I didn't give her enough cash! And then she aggressively gave back all the cash when I was just asking for the change. She even raised her voice at me twice when I asked for her name (I didn't need to ask as they all wear name tags. It was out of courtesy). "why?!!! Why do you need my name?!!!" I thought she was going to grab the pen and paper out of my hands!! (I was just going to reference her in case the email she promised to send didn't arrive.) One other staff had to come over and try to smooth things over and apologize for her.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Pros: Amongst the many hotels we stayed at during this last my group rated the Quirinale the best by far!! The staff deserve a very very special mention. The smiling faces were a balm to the spirit. The Quirinale is so beautiful that the reception could well have been snobbish, but they turned this establishment into a home away from home.
Cons: I wish we had a better view over Rome.

Pros: Breakfast was always fresh and anything that ran low was replenished quickly. Doormen were always extremely friendly. All requests made from the room were resolved extremely quickly.
Cons: All three sides of the hotel are situated along busy streets so there was a large amount of street noise each evening and early morning. Temperature in room ran on the warmer side - Upon return to room each evening it felt stuffy and stagnant.

Pros: The spacious clean room was a welcome place to return to after the hot crowded streets of Rome. The beds were so clean and comfortable, we slept peacefully. The hotel was modern where it needed to be, but with a nice historical vibe. Great location.
Cons: The exercise room could use better air flow and a second treadmill, since this is the most popular exercise machine in most hotels. I didn't have to wait too long for the treadmill, but the air flow was limited.

Cons: We had a lot of trouble with the Wifi. We could connect easily in the lobby but when went back to our room it would disconnect. Also, the shower drain was clogged when we checked in. The first night we had to use all of our towels to prevent the shower from flooding out of the bathroom into the room.

Cons: The hotel needed an urgent refit. We were moved 3 times. First room bed was broken. Second room was very noisy and we had requested a quiet room. Third move the shower was broken the taps didn’t work. The curtains didn’t pull. The hotel was in a very shabby state.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

And every morning we woke because of someone`s talking loudly in the yard. We cant even see the sky, because of tightness of the yard. Absolutely awful breakfast. noone from the staff pay attention to you. The salad was spoiled, pineapples turn sour. I will never stop in this hotel. it may have 2 star, not 4!

Cons: the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Cons: The food and coffee at breakfast were not very tasty. Location very close to the Barberini subway station, but the station was closed during our stay. We booked a triple room, but we stayed in a double room, with just a king size bed, no sofa bed. The twin room and its bathroom are very small.

Cons: We were late for our train had already paid for our room. I have stayed in four and five star hotels plenty. Not saying we didn't look young or scruffy but in no way we're we staying above our means. We tried to leave quickly in the morning they assumed we trashed the room they locked us inside the lobby, and threatened to call the police if we left before they checked. So I tried to explain they had my credit card and passport on file and I would give them my phone number if there were any issues my best friend who I was traveling with pleads with him in Italian and he starts yelling at my friend physically restraining him. It was disgusting behavior for a four star hotel. Also there was no gym which they advertised they had and essentially was the only reason we booked the hotel. This would never fly any where else I have stayed it was truly deplorable, but more then that I was just disappointed to have had search for a place that seemed nice and welcoming and comfortable, a break from the rest of our journey, and instead been sucked into a place with so little respect for its clientele. It's on a horribly touristy street filled with a couple bad restaurants a Hard Rock Cafe and a strip club. Although there is a fantastic wine shop around the corner with a very sweet owner.

However, it is a bit of a drive to the main attractions of the city and we used taxi most of the time so we had to shell out euros there. The property has a restaurant, swimming pool, spa, massage available which is great. The staff was friendly. I would suggest going in for a junior suite instead of the other basic option. The junior suite was much more spacious which a lavish bath and toilet area. The space helps if you have families with kids.

Cons: Don’t take the basic room ( the one below the junior suite). You might end up sleeping next to the shower. An additional 50 euro will get you a junior suite with much more room to move in. The breakfast, when I compare it to some of the other breakfasts that we had at other hotels in italy, was nothing less than underwhelming. They could really focus on their basics and food is one of them. I didn’t try the restaurant and thus can’t comment. Looking at the breakfast, I didn’t even try.

Cons: ATMs at Radisson, were a scam & ran out of euros,still charged us for amount we requested even though their ATM was out of Money. We informed the front desk,they were unable to fix the situation,this happens frequently there was no out of order sign.

Cons: Breakfast was chaos. No plates, no clean glasses, and a coffee machine in ROME?! I was only offered a real cappucino the morning I checked out. Room service and bar service overpriced.

Pros: Location. Staff friendliness/ helpfulness and cleanliness of hotel. The hotel felt safe and was an easy walk into tourist areas of Rome despite location not being in most salubrious of areas.
Cons: The breakfast was not good. inadequate food choices, poor presentation, poor service, the hot food was cold!
