Pros: This is a great small hotel for a stay near the airport. The room and bathroom were very large, spotless and comfortable. Lucas went out of his way to help me with my luggage in the rain. He showed me where there there was a nice restaurant, pizza restaurant, Chinese restaurant and coffee bar right across the street. He didn’t just tell where these places were or give me a piece of paper with their names on a list. He walked me to the corner of the street and directly pointed them out to me. I had dinner at the restaurant and coffee at the coffee bar. Both were excellent. I especially enjoyed my cappuccino at the coffee bar where I sat at a table and watched as local a Italians came in on their way home from work and grabbed a coffee. They all ran in, stood at the counter, drank it down in a minute, then ran out, just as I had read about before my trip. I had a 6AM flight in the morning and Lucas drove me to the airport at 4 AM. It was raining again and he went out of his way to bring my luggage into the airport for me and found a representative to help me, not just drop me off at the “door”. What a gentlemen. I am an older women and was traveling solo. I felt safe and looked after at my stay here. Don’t miss an opportunity to meet Lucas! You will throughly enjoy your visit to this property and it will make going to the airport as stress free as possible as well as giving you the opportunity for one last great Italian dinner before leaving Rome.

Pros: I have stayed at Sleep and Fly before and never been disappoionted. The owner of this establishment, Luca, is a very charming and engaging gentlemen. Also stated in my last review he makes the best cappuccino in Italy!!! I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone.

Pros: This is a family operated place . The owners are very , very Nice and explain the area & include there own shuttle service To the airport . It's hard to find good customer service in Rome This family that runs this place knows what they are doing . I will stay Here again if I need a place close to the airport .

Pros: A great little hotel with no frills but great personal service from the father and son owners. This hotel has a great location close to the Rome Fiumicino airport which makes it an ideal budget hotel prior to departure from Italy. They are steadily improving and updating this hotel and the personal service is second to none!

Cons: Although the location close to the airport is a plus, the noise from the planes is quite loud at times but not a deal breaker.

Pros: I have stayed at Domus Lina a number of times and plan to stay there again. The staff is friendly and I like the town of Fiumicino. I enjoy the breakfasts and the view from the breakfast area.

Pros: Parking could have been an issue but was not in this case. The interior of Domus Lina is lovely! Bright, elegant, well appointed. The rooms were lovely as well - again - super clean, bright and comfy bed! Breakfast was outstanding with many cakes and cereals and breads, as well as eggs, meat and cheese. The staff were totally accommodating. This is our new 'go to' place when traveling out of Rome. Strongly recommend!

Cons: Parking is outside, not on the property. We were lucky and got a spot directly in front of the door. We had to take everything in - leaving nothing in the vehicle. Would love to have had on site parking but it all worked out well.

Pros: Very comfortable, clean, quiet and well appointed room. We only stayed the one night as we were connecting to a flight.

Cons: The only negative point was with the shower water controls which were a little confusing to use and we could only manage to adjust the temperature just warm.

Pros: We were worried for parking but it was plentiful on the street. The beds were very comfortable, rooms and premises were very clean, and all toiletries were excellent. Being so close to the airport was no problem, it was very quiet. Pros: Spacious, charming accommodations, comfortable bed. Loved the outdoor balcony! Wonderful location right on the waterfront quay, with numerous places to eat nearby.

Cons: Could have used some instructions on the use of the high-tech shower. Also, Shower water was less than hot.

Pros: We knew it would be very clean, etc = but we did not expect how lovely - elegant the place was - certainly from the outside we had doubts but when we opened the door - Lovely! So we booked again for next week when we fly out. It is now our new ‘go to’ place to stay prior to fly out of Rome.

Pros: Villa Rosita is located near the Fiumicino Airport but is not a noisy location. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. Best thing about Villa Rosita is Federico, the host. He will do anything to help including shuttling you.

Cons: We ordered room for 3 and got a room for 2. We asked for a bigger room, The owner lied to us saing all rooms are the same, We looked in other rooms which were much bigger. We paid for 2 nights but left after one and few hours to catch our flight. The owner took advantage of it and did not clean the room, did not changed towels. Breakfast very poor, practically nothing to eat.

For example, On the drive from the airport to the Inn, I told Luciano I wanted to visit the Keats-Shelley Museum in Rome. He gave me detailed directions, and pointed out the bus stop where I should start my trip.

Pros: Very kind personnel, clean rooms, the most important they accept dogs without any problems, that is very difficult to find at any country. I loved staying at this hotel.

Cons: The hotel did have anyone to greet you at the door and help hold the door open for you and your luggage despite being only 8 pm. I had to find the door stop and prop the door open while the staff (1 person) looked on. There were no ramps for wheeling luggage and the luggage cart was only accessible by climbing a staircase. There was a wheelchair lift available for those needing the service (thankfully). The hallway leading up to the room smelled as though several people were chain smoking. Our room was a nice size and thankfully didn’t smell. However, the room was terribly hot and the A/C wasn’t working. The staff member told us to open the window and later let us know we could turn off the radiant heat in the bathroom to decrease the temp. This didn’t really help. We slept with the window open which was fine despite the massive downpour of rain most of the night... the real issue was the rodent or rodents running through the wall (or gutter???)all night. They were loud and very disturbing. Again, the space served its purpose but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cons: The minuscule shower, no decent restaurant around the hotel, the 60 Eros by can to get there (10 now than to the airport) and then the 20 Eros charged and not told about, for the 5 minute ride to the airport for an early morning flight.

Pros: It is in a local neighborhood. Private bathroom, with shared kitchen area. Short walk to some stores and places to eat. The driver for the shuttle was awesome. He runs the place too. It will cost you 15 euro each way, but he is always on time. Check the fine print as there is a 2 euro charge per person per day for city tax. It is close to the airport. The guy in the red shirt is Mossimo, he is your host and driver.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say except my bad was missing a sheet and I could not locate another one. The shower head was broken, but I am sure it could be fixed or replaced.

Cons: The elevator is slow and you have to hold the floor button for the entire ride. The room is marble tiled so the floors and stairs are slick when you come in after a rain, or step out of the shower. The breakfast is ok, mainly pastries, very little meats or cheeses.

Pros: This hotel is convenient to the airport, provides a shuttle at a reasonable rate (for Rome anyway!), has a decent continental breakfast and wifi. The staff was very friendly and acommodating. Tiny room was clean and quiet.

Pros: The best part about this hotel is how close it is to FCO airport. It made our departure extremely easy.

Cons: Our room was a little musty when we arrived, it wasn't a huge issuse, but the hotel was also very hard to find in the small city of Fiumicino. Once we found it though, it wasn't a problem.

Cons: This hotel was chosen for our last night of our tour of Europe & we were due to fly fdrom Fiumincino airport net day. We had problems getting there as the last stop on the metro was not within walking distance to the hotel so we had to go into the bar at the station & ask them to arrange a taxi to come & collect us. This cost us more than it should have as the drivere could not find the hotel as it was set right in the middle of a residential area. Looking back what we should have done was to go direct to the airport & arrange for their shuttle bus to collect us. This was only 6 euro's per person. Lesson learnt.

Pros: The air conditioner worked well once we asked to be shown how it worked. The location to the restaurant nearby was good. The room was fairly quiet. The price was the best thing about it. The guy who checked us in was helpful.

Cons: The place wreaked of cigarette smoke from the restaurant down stairs. The place is old and run down. The front of the hotel had weeds growing in the street and sidewalk. The two flags(presumably Italy and U.S.) on the poles were tattered. The walls had paint peeling off of them. The toilet seat was so loose it almost slid off the bowl. There was a water spot on the celing from a leak. The bed was just ok.

Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable, great room. Spacious. Easy checkin and out. Easy walk to terminal.

Pros: Accessibility to terminal

Cons: Room was only adequate. For the price I paid and the Hilton name, I expected a much nicer, larger room. We had been traveling in Italy for 3 weeks, and had stayed in much nicer, luxurious and grander rooms at a fraction of the cost.

Pros: I liked that was right at the airport and could walk . They had a nice dining room , but we thought the wine was way overpriced.

Cons: There were 3 of us . We could not get a room with 2 double beds . The pull out cot is not that great . There was not really any choices to book from . it seemed you had no rooms with 2 double beds . We found that very strange . It worked with the cot though. We also wondered if you could not walk that far to the terminal if you had transportation for disabled . We were not , so we did not check as we could walk .

Pros: Right at the airport, but in looking back, I would have stayed at a nicer hotel for the money just off the airport and used the shuttle. The walkway to the terminals is long if you have lots of baggage.

Cons: It's a long walk to the terminals if you have several roll-aboards. The staff may drive you over if they're available. Hotel is a little shop worn and old feeling. Could use a refurbishment.

Cons: Extra charges

Pros: Location is very good for those who have an early flight from the airport. Breakfast was great.

Cons: No automatic wi-fi in the rooms? Come on, this is 2019, wi -fi is standard everywhere. Also there is a hair drier in the room, but it can not be plugged into most of the sockets. My wife just about gave up on it when I finaly found a suitable socket. It should either be plugged in where it can be used or at least have instructions placed on the cord showing where to plug it.

Pros: I was sup prized to see two bottles of water opened and put back in small fridge by previous guess I informed the check in desk and as result of this She was kind not to charge me for one bottle of water I used Thank you

Pros: Location is excellent

Cons: Food and drinks very expensive

Pros: Breakfast was amazing.

Cons: Room was not enormous, but not tiny either.
