Cons: I was a little disappointed in the size of our room and the view that we had. As this was a big occasion for my wife and I (anniversary and last holiday before our newborn arrives) we were disappointed to have no view at all and a small room.

The room was very nicely appointed, albeit a bit small/crowded for two people, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They even have a pillow menu to choose other options if you would like.
Highlight: from the restaurant, which serves a lovely breakfast in the morning, you have a beautiful view of the Colosseum. It's a great way to start the day!

Pros: This hotel is only a few blocks away from the Coliseum and restaurants are everywhere . So you’ve heard the old saying location location location this hotel has it. We had a nice large room for three people. They had a beautiful breakfast buffet that we couldn’t stay for, as we had to leave for our plane at 5:30 in the morning. The staff prepared us three take away meals or us to take with us to the airport. This was probably the best hotel we stayed in in Europe in over four years. I highly recommend it. When we go back to Rome we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Recommend that you pre book your visit tickets to the Colosseum and Vatican as queues are huge. A good way to travel and gain information around the city is the Hop on Hop off bus it's not too expensive and easy to use. Don't forget you can fill up your water bottles from the street fountains this is free and safe to drink.

Pros: Location is excellent! Bocca della Verita 2 minutes walk away, Trastevere neighbourhood literally 15 minute walk across the river, Colloseum, Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill all within easy walking distance. Museo Capitalini is also just up the road, within 15 minutes.
Cons: We were very disappointed that the roof bar/restaurant was only open one night out of our three night stay as this was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. It was unfortunate that the weather was sporadic during our stay but even when it stopped raining, the decision was made to close the terrace.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Bathroom was missing toilet paper. There was trash on the floor by the bathtub. Suspect that the pillows and mattress were old. Allergies went into overdrive during the night. Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

Pros: The hotel is has moderate sized rooms. It is definitely a boutique hotel and the rooms have a rustic feel to them. However, the bathrooms were very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very kind and approachable. The rooftop is beautiful. We spent our late nights up there and it just made you feel like your were in Europe. Right in the heart. The breeze, the view and the drinks are really good! You get a small discount when you are a guest of the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel because there is a cafe/restaurant literally next door on the corner of the beautiful pillar and church in front of the hotel. The location of the hotel is impeccable. We used the train every single day and it was so nice to walk less than 10 min. We felt completely safe - even when we arrived in Rome to the hotel at midnight and had dinner at 12:30 at that cafe mentioned above. Overall, great staff, clean rooms (and bathroom), great service and a beautiful rooftop (and good bar service) to top it all off. We highly recommend the hotel.

Pros: The location was close to major city landmarks. There was a bus available that stopped right by the hotel (for 7 euros for 24 hours) and it could be used to take the bus around the city. The room was clean and had adequate space, and the air conditioning worked well. The roof garden offered a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was good, and it included eggs, meats, fruit, breads, pastries, coffee, tea, juices, etc. The airport shuttle was 55 euros for two people, and this was a good price for transport to the Fiumicino Airport without worries. There is also an ATM right across the street from the hotel.

Pros: The room rate was competitive, it was what you might want to experience in a true small Rome hotel ambiance, and fairly close to forum/coliseum area and could easily be walked. A bit too far to walk to Vatican. Neighborhood was more pleasant than expected. The staff was willing to call taxis and they arrived within 3-5 minutes typically. The included breakfast was a big benefit and the staff at breakfast was very pleasant. The restaurant staff at diinner not so much.

Pros: A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. As soon as you enter the air-conditioned lobby you feel welcomed. We were offered a very reasonable upgrade to get a room with a sensational view of the Basillica. The roof-top bar/restaurant was a great place for a pre-dinner cocktail, whilst watching the sun set over Rome. To use this also for breakfast was a lovely bonus! Don't forget to pop next door for one of the best gelato's in Rome

The location of this hotel was also excellent, just steps from the Roma Termini station and also the hop on hop off buses. The bathroom and shower were nice and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: It was not mentioned that some of the rooms are in the annex; that is a separate area near the hotel that you cannot access through the main lobby. It was a little inconvenient, especially in the evening, to have to walk along the street to get to the main hotel and restaurant. I would have liked to have known about this ahead of time. This area does not have an elevator, but the hotel did provide someone to take the luggage upstairs. The only other minus was that one morning we were unable to get any hot water for showers, even after letting the water run for a long time. This did not seem to be a problem in the evenings.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Well, receptionist wasn’t there for the next two days straight. They managed to check us out at 12.00 (and not charge anything, thanks for that). But again receptionist wasn’t at the desk. And another family was waiting for check in. We tried to call host for half an hour, but with no results. We left the building glad that this journey is over for us.

Also no warm water, rang staff kept saying 5minutes then she ignored our phone call. Rang another guy he flipped some switches and we finally got warm water. The locks on the main door into the apartment doesn’t lock we pushed it open the whole stay. Other guest always complained the previous day they had no electric and staff didn’t do anything to help

Cons: The street was quite loud until 2am, but this is an issue with many properties in a big bustling city like Rome. Just bring some ear plugs. The only real issue that I would point out to prospective bookers, is that there was a door in our room connecting to the adjacent room and this door did not appear to be secure. It was thin, louvered, and did not have a lock on our side. There was a keyhole that someone had stuffed toilet paper in to prevent anyone seeing through. Even though I can physically handle myself, I blocked the door with furniture and luggage before sleeping. However, I would not want my kids, especially daughters, to stay in this room. To management- this is an inexpensive issue to address. Just get a solid core door and install two locks, one on each side. Other than this, the stay was perfect.

Cons: Some facilities are broken though working - it looks like these were overlooked and neglected by the staff or management - the airconditioning control in our room is broken so we cannot adjust it properly, the bathroom door is not fixed, the shower is quite difficult to adjust because if you turn it slight left it gets burning hot but then cold when you turn slight right. The rainshower does not spurt water at all and at one time i wanted to open the safe with my code and it didn't open for so many tries. After 20mins i tried again and it worked but for surety, i didn't use it anymore.

There's lots of single use plastic and packaging in use in the bathroom, not very environmentally friendly.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the metro so you have easy access to all the main tourist spots. Was around a 15 minute walk to the colloseum. The terrace was lovely and the staff would happily bring you drinks whilst you enjoyed the chilled out atmosphere.
Cons: The eggs at breakfast were horrible. Breakfast on the whole was ok, however there could have been a slightly better selection.

Pros: Staff were friendly. They were helpful. Breakfast was good. We were a group of 6, so we got 3 rooms and all 3 were comfortable and good size. All of us were satisfied. Normally we should have checked out already in the morning because we hired a van going to St. Rita but we had a problem. The car that we rented had an accident and they didn't have a spare van for us. Because we have also somebody in a wheelchair and with 3 other seniors we wanted all of us to be together. So instead of going to St. Rita de Cascia we stayed longer in the city. The hotel manager was so kind to let us use one of our rooms till it's time for us to go to the airport. And that gesture you will not expect from a 4 star hotel. So we really appreciate it.

I asked the reception they told that is their hotel policy they are doing in that way. It is inconsistent with the information given in booking cause there were two options one is let the property to chose beds or rezerve a one double bed with higher rate that is the way I did. However that is not the case in hotel.

Cons: Where do I start? Upon arrival I found the staff rude after I asked for some water. I seemed like a real hassle when I asked where the lift was and then the porter helped me with my luggage, but definitely wasn’t happy about helping. Then, all downhill. Internet didn’t work properly but they tried to fix but said maybe my problem. The tv never worked and took ages to fix. The bed so so hard and the pillows were dreadful. The room was so small. Then, breakfast. No gluten free bread even though I asked when I booked. Cold eggs, salami and the cups for tea were so small you couldn’t pick them up properly. Then at the end of my stay I asked for them to book a taxi to the airport. What a nightmare! They don’t speak English well at all. I had to ask 3 times in different times of the day just to make sure. And then late at night I realised that the airport is some 45 mins away and asked them to change time for pickup but they wouldn’t do this. So at 11pm I downloaded the taxi app myself and organised it. The pictures on the net are NOT what they are. I was grossly ripped off! BEWARE

Cons: The shower was filthy and riddled with mould. The shower screen door was basically hanging off. There was no blind on our door the first day, however one did magically appear the second day. Everything felt old and far from “4 stars”. Wifi signal was dismal, half the machines in the gym were broken, the rooftop spa was green and slimy.

Cons: Main problem ... no hot water and staff seems to think that it is normal. Also, the towels do not seems to be clean. Actually, I was originally quite happy with the hotel ... its excellent location (walking distance from Roma Train Station). The staff appeared to be very friendly and we were able to get a kettle despite none is originally available at the room. We stayed five nights, but then small problems started to creep up. First, the kettle we first got did not really work, and the staff was friendly and changed a working one for us eventually. Then, most of the power sockets in the room are type L, instead of the tighter C or F, and the adapters we have often got disconnected or fall out. Loose socket connection is actually a safety hazard! Also, the refrigerator in room was not really that cold, the staff tried to help but it didn't really get it fixed. Then on the last night, there was no hot water, which was really bad considering it was August and we spent the whole day out in the sun. When we call the front desk, the reply was water pressure was low and not much they can do. That was a first for me, and checking the web, I found that this is a well complained problem, making it even worse (from my perspective). System does not seem to respect (and hence be able to respond to) customer complaints ! It is really a dent for me, after having a great 24 day tour in Italy and Greece.

Cons: Felt very unsafe in the surrounding streets, surrounded by pick pocketers, homeless, beggars and other shady characters. When asked for assistance from staff it was not always willingly given. Some staff were on the verge of being rude and arrogant. Bathrooms were horrible with just a loose glass door closing off the toilet from the rest of the room (when we asked if any rooms were available with closed off bathrooms we were told that it was a modern style and that we should have looked more closely at the photos. We were then offered a room with facilities for persons with disabilities which had a closed off bathroom, but this was only available then following day during the morning hours when we had booked a tour so we missed our window of opportunity!). Breakfast and use of the pool were only available at an extra charge. Shower gel was provided 2 days out of 4. Non decaff coffee was provided on the first day only and not replenished. Room looked like it was painted by an amateur with brush strokes overlapping onto the floor tiles making the room look like a cheap bed and breakfast.

Cons: I love expected more from a Radisson Blu Hotel, having stayed in others previously and been very pleased. There was no door for privacy in the shower, which I wasn’t aware of, I would not have booked this room if I was. There was mould under the rim in the bath. Water came through to the bedroom when using the shower. And we had powdered milk with the coffee/tea facilities. The location was good for the train station, which was nice.
