Cons: The pool area is quite small and felt cramped. The bathroom floor was wet all the time because water kept splashing out of the tub during showers.

Cons: The Spa was a great experience however a 5Star hotel should provide hot steamed towels during the massage . Hot towels weren't included. The Spa treatment should be upgraded.

Our room very comfortable, excellent bathroom facility and very good hairdryer! Very clean, entire stay. Also conveniently close to excellent restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions, shopping..really everything! we were able to walk to most places.

Cons: Gym closed at 8 pm, I tend to work out later at night. A bit of a hike to the areas we wanted to walk to so we had to take a taxi. One of the elevators was broken and the other was TINY. Honestly that didn't bother me as I tend to walk the stairs, but others may not be too happy.

Cons: On May 10th, I handed over to the hotel's reception desk a Gucci branded coat to be cleaned in the neck area. The receptionist has confirmed that the hotel is dealing with such services. After a day, I got my coat dirty everywhere, impossible to wear. The receptionist was unable or unwilling to call anyone from the hotel management to discuss the situation. The hotel management did not respond to my email sent by which I was requesting compensation regardless of their nature.

Cons: Internet was not working at our floor level (6) and the Internet network doesn't have a password which generate many problems with corporate computers as the might block some features due to lack of security. we were only informed upon our departure that they had individual internet routers available upon request. they should advise immediately. Internet is basic service for all travellers.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

Cons: The room service meal of margherita pizza and chicken cutlets were absolutely atrocious. While I can forgive slightly different tasting food from Italian street pizza, the chicken looked like pancakes and the pizza looked like reheated microwave pizza. We expected a little more Italian cuisine, given that we were in Rome. We sought outside restaurants from then on. Breakfast was all right, but the food buffet was swarming with fruit flies so it was a little disgusting.

Cons: Not actually a 5 star hotel. Breakfast, 20Euro, was incredibly average with tiny mass made croissants. The walls of our room were covered in scuff marks. There is a hot tub and sauna but they want you to pay 100Euro/hour to use it-NOTa luxury hotel move.

Cons: Definitely not a 5 star hotel, very expensive for what it offers, big disadvantage is the bar inside the hotel which gets very noisy at night. Also, we drove there by car so we needed a parking space. The hotel informed us that they had an agreement with a local parking garage for 40 (!!!) Euro per night and only in cash, which was not even too close to the hotel. Another issue was a funny smell coming out of the air conditioning pipes, so we had to switch it off for the night.

Cons: We got off to a bad start as the interconnecting rooms I had requested and were referred to on the website were not available. I was annoyed about this as this was the reason I had chosen the hotel and they should have told us this was not possible. The reception offered us a free upgrade instead. I didn't want this I wanted the interconnecting rooms I had requested The reception offered to move us the next day and then when we took the rooms they had offered to us miraculously the same day they unlocked the connecting door and they were interconnecting but it did take a lot of hassle to get us what we had reserved. In the end we were very happy with the rooms but just unnecessary stress

The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Cons: The street was quite loud until 2am, but this is an issue with many properties in a big bustling city like Rome. Just bring some ear plugs. The only real issue that I would point out to prospective bookers, is that there was a door in our room connecting to the adjacent room and this door did not appear to be secure. It was thin, louvered, and did not have a lock on our side. There was a keyhole that someone had stuffed toilet paper in to prevent anyone seeing through. Even though I can physically handle myself, I blocked the door with furniture and luggage before sleeping. However, I would not want my kids, especially daughters, to stay in this room. To management- this is an inexpensive issue to address. Just get a solid core door and install two locks, one on each side. Other than this, the stay was perfect.

Cons: Hotel took advantage from the great location and doesn’t care of anything g else. We couldn’t sleep at all from the street sound and noice and music and cars all nights. A five stars hotel should have a sound proof windows. I don’t recommend to anyone and will not repeat it again at all because we need to sleep and relax

Cons: Quite soon into my 3 night stay I noticed the staff did not have their hearts on their job....across all roles. Lack of smiles and enthusiasm all round. This was apparent at first breakfast where service was patchy... Some waiters attentive others less so. They didn't seem a content bunch....The pre cooked fried eggs were awful, cold and greasy and little else on display was tempting. Day two I asked the waitress for eggs Benedict and was promptly told they do not serve this. When I said this was the first 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in to refuse me this request she returned few minutes later to say chef would take 20 minutes to prepare... Fine... They eventually arrived, were average. Noise in rooms was too much from corridor and adjacent room... Poor sound insulation. When I attempted to check out before midnight as I had an early morning flight to catch I was disappointed by the receptionist saying this would not be possible... Again a first for me in a 5 star hotel... So had to be down even earlier for process with same receptionist which took longer than normal check outs. This is not a hotel I would recommend for a business traveller.

Cons: This was NOT a 5* room! We even paid extra for a 'superior delux', I'd say 3* at best. Towels not replaced even when asked, we had to ask twice. Both mornings we were woken early with building work (hammering and drilling) at 8am from the floor below. We complained, there seemed to be some surprise (!), We were told it would be passed on to the manager. That's it!

Pros: This is the most beautiful hotel full of old world charm.but totally up to date with everything. Our room Was enormous and spotless bathroom was big and very clean Breakfast was very good and served on the verandah overlooking the garden. It was very relaxing to sit in the garden restaurant after a long day sight seeing. Location was excellent a short walk from the termini. Walking distance to all attractions. We did but tickets on the on of bus and soon realised that we shouldn't have. Moderately fit 60 year olds managed all on foot just fine. Vatican city was a longer walk but you can get a local bus or taxi to that location. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The elevator, but that wouldn't really be an issue for Rome. Very small, but we crammed our suitcases and our bodies and made it to our floor. We didn't like the construction downstairs, heard all the way up to the 3rd and 4th floor. Hopefully they are almost done.

Pros: The rooms are new, spacious and clean. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm and it had two bathrooms which was wonderful. The bed space was really comfortable.
Cons: 1) The rooms are enclosed (not airy) and a bit dark. 2) There is nothing free in this hostel and to be frank I felt it a bit pricy. For example- (i) They charge 4 euros for using lockers for say 6 hours - you have no other option to leave the luggage at the reception as in most hostels/hotels. (ii) No tap for clean drinking water (there is one in the waiting area but the water was smelling bad) so you need to buy it from the reception/shops nearby (iii) Breakfast is at a reasonable price of 5.5 euros but the options are very limited, unlike many other hostels I have stayed in previously. (iv) Towels and toiletries are also charged separately 3) The bar was mostly closed, they host events on the rooftop but felt the food and drinks was not cheap. The price is similar to a mid-range bar/pub so you might always prefer to go out. 4) Checkin time is 2 pm and checkout time was 10 am - similar to hotels. I noticed several people checking out early but still wasn't offered a room until 2 pm as the receptionist wanted me to use their lockers instead of getting an early check-in. I felt 4 hours difference in checkout and check-in time is a bit too high for a hostel. 5) Breakfast ends at 10 am on a weekday (at exactly the same time when one is supposed to checkout) which means one can not have breakfast after checking out. One needs to check out a bit earlier than 10 am.

Pros: I didn't book breakfast included, but it was absolutely no problem to get is anyway. The breakfast was very good, with a large variety of eggs, veggies, sweet cakes. You name it, it was there. The staff especially made us delicious cappuccino every morning. We loved it. Beds were good, nice large room (Junior suite). The location of the hotel is excellent. If we come back to Rome we will certainly stay here again.
Cons: It's hard to think of something but if I have to : the hairdryer was in a place not really handy if you needed a mirror as well to see what you were doing. The cable was a little too short to look in any of the available mirrors in the bathroom. I missed the waterheater/little coffee machine.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Cons: Main problem ... no hot water and staff seems to think that it is normal. Also, the towels do not seems to be clean. Actually, I was originally quite happy with the hotel ... its excellent location (walking distance from Roma Train Station). The staff appeared to be very friendly and we were able to get a kettle despite none is originally available at the room. We stayed five nights, but then small problems started to creep up. First, the kettle we first got did not really work, and the staff was friendly and changed a working one for us eventually. Then, most of the power sockets in the room are type L, instead of the tighter C or F, and the adapters we have often got disconnected or fall out. Loose socket connection is actually a safety hazard! Also, the refrigerator in room was not really that cold, the staff tried to help but it didn't really get it fixed. Then on the last night, there was no hot water, which was really bad considering it was August and we spent the whole day out in the sun. When we call the front desk, the reply was water pressure was low and not much they can do. That was a first for me, and checking the web, I found that this is a well complained problem, making it even worse (from my perspective). System does not seem to respect (and hence be able to respond to) customer complaints ! It is really a dent for me, after having a great 24 day tour in Italy and Greece.

Pros: Nice small hotel in a the city centre! Location was great. Right near Piazza Barberini, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps. 20/25 min walking from the ancient city Piazza Venezia, Colosseum and more. Very helpful and friendly staff Hugo and Emanuela. Delicious breakfast with a plenty chooses and a happy woman Patricia made us a really good cappuccino and espresso.
Cons: Unfortunately the metro Barberini was not working but was not a problem to reach the location or going somewhere else. Of course it's not their fault! We had a lots of choices to move around with public transport.

Pros: The hotel was in a good location. I was only there for a night, so it was nice being able to find places to eat close by.
Cons: The hotel didn't have air conditioning (but has a fan and a nice breeze when the windows are open), so the window I left open caused me to get mosquito bites.

Cons: I selected the property for my single night in Rome as it was so close to a metro so I was dismayed when I discovered it was closed till further notice . I only found this when the resin went straight throgh6 . I tried in the other direction in case I had taken a limited stop train. . So I had to walk over a kilometre . Not fault of hotel and reception explained how to catch a bus . It would have been most helpful if I knew in advance . A simple message to guests . And for those seeking g Hotel close to metro this isnt suitable currently

Pros: The bed was comfy. Close to the station so easy for travel.
Cons: The room was very small. There was a €15 charge per person for using the swimming pool which was not clear enough when we booked. The breakfast was extortionate at €22 per person. The decor was poor despite having a recently redecorated room. The old patterns showed through the wall paint and the grout round the bath was mouldy. The shower overflowed on to the bathroom floor each time we used it so had to use the towels to mop it up. We would not chose to stay here again. Definitely not a five star in our opinion.
