Cons: Parking at the hotel is a ridiculous $36/night and they charged for two parking spots for our two motorcycles even though we actually had both bikes consolidated out of the way in the valet area not even in the parking garage. That was irritating.
The hotel staff were polite but very cold and decidedly unfriendly. Don't believe I did anything to be offensive or difficult - I didn't even argue about the parking issue - but all of the desk staff (two in the evening, one in the morning) gave the impression they had much better things to do than speak with me.

Cons: Our one and only critique, and rather silly at that, after pulling in with our vehicle and stopping at the front valet, the attendant seemed almost shocked when we said, yes we would like you to park the car, and replied with an almost doubtful "are you sure? Wouldn't you like to hear the prices?" Though I'm sure he was just trying to do his job and avoid later frustration, the tone in which he asked us the question was borderline offensive. Young man if we can afford to stay where we are staying we certainly assure you we can afford to park.

Cons: The room was a bit small but that is usually the case with hotels in historic or busy areas. There was heavy construction going on within the hotel that was constantly noises from sun up to after sunset. The pool was dirty and unattended to all day. The hallways were extremely dark and not air conditioned which was not ideal for 90+ degree days. The room A/C was also hardly functional as it was set to the maximum level the entire trip but still could not stay cool.

Cons: We initially booked a king room for our first anniversary and when we checked in they did not have it anymore so they put us in a room with double beds. They told us it was an upgrade, when it really wasn’t. My husband and I had to sleep in different beds because they were so small. He also asked for champagne to be sent to the room to surprise me and they didn’t honor his request and nothing was sent at all.

Cons: I booked a king room and they gave me two doubles. Also, a drummer was on the street on Friday night and kept me awake. They could not do anything about it.

Cons: Only thing probably has to be not necessary, their gym didn't feel like it was a part of the hotel it was just a place to workout but it is a nice small gym for sure. It didn't make me dislike or hate it.

Cons: No onsite parking and having to pay daily for parking either by finding your own place or valet. Kept having an issue with the thermostat and when we would return to our room it was very warm, muggy and humid feeling. Thermostat wouldn’t kick on and had to call the office both days we were there to send someone to fix it. No place is perfect but they quickly had someone up to the room when we called which was good.

Cons: The valet drivers would not even attempt to park our truck stating it was too high, even though we have parked in many other hotel parking garages downtown with no issues. Perhaps they were new or unsure or perhaps this hotel has a different policy.

Pros: The hotel is amazingly clean. Staff were wonderful and excited about doing their job. The room was fantastic, we had a view of the river. The lounge was nice, but the breakfast was amazing. This is my new favorite hotel in San Antonio.
Cons: I really can say there was anything I didn't like. We both enjoyed everything. The only thing is the elevators can be a little confusing on which one you need to go where. Our floor was a little loud at night, but its San Antonio! People are there to have fun.

Cons: I have never seen a more unclean, dirty, filthy facility in my life. The gym was absolutely horrid. They should shut that down. It’s in a basement, for starters. Cockroaches. Gym looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Lacked detail cleaning in elevators. Customer service was sub par. Not impressed in the slightest.

Cons: The bar didn't have any wine from the list that they leave in the room. Then we finally bought a bottle of moscato and it was twice the amount then when you buy it in store. You cant even order room service for wine.

Cons: My bed had obviously been slept on by multiple people! One side had an uncomfortable indentation about 2-inches deep which made sleeping in the middle of the bed impossible because I kept rolling to the low side where the mattress was lumpy and broken down. I woke with back pain each morning. However, my traveling companion did not have an uneven mattress and slept like a baby!

The door won’t open unless you hit it and push it open! The room is dirty has stains on the walls. Seems like if it has mold. And they have little fruit flies around the room it’s so gross they won’t go away. Bed smells musty and feels wet. Bathroom was gross do not go here
