HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS HOTEL HAS BEDBUGS!!! I have been trying to get a refund on my room because I got bed bug bites all over my arms after staying here but even after sending pictures of my bites they are ignoring all forms of contact and requests for a refund and claim they "had the room tested for bedbugs and there aren't any" so they are putting other people in the same room to get bites as...

Pros (+) Location, location, and location! Hotel is right across the Alamo with plenty of cheap public parking around the area. Also, the warm chocolate chips cookies from the front desk are a plus.
Cons (-) Outdated hotel facility and Kayak's incorrectly rated hotel stars do not match the overpriced money for my stay.

Pros (+) The location was great. Short walk to the convention center, riverwalk, alamo. The staff was also very friendly and nice.
Cons (-) The building is old and the rooms show it. My first night there was a some fan, or machinery noise that made it impossible to sleep. I was able to switch rooms that night which was nice. One morning I had no hot water. The staff listened, but didn't seem concerned about it. I only had one breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but it was quite underwhelming and definitely not worth paying for.
