Cons: The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes. The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.

Cons: There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.

Cons: There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later. The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible. We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.

Cons: The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.

Cons: Very small room with minimal closet space and walking space and a step down to get to the bathroom Had larger room for less money on my 5 previous stays here

Cons: One afternoon the do not disturb sign was ignored and the house keeping staff tried to force the door open. Luckily there was a second lock device to prevent that. My wife had just flown in from America and landed at 7am. She went across America and then across the Atlantic, and she was understandably tired. We were trying to rest when we heard the racket at the door, startling both of us. It actually made me pretty angry, since the Do Not Disturb sign was outside. The next day they forgot the bottles of water for my room. The following day they forgot face cloths. The refrigerator was struggling to keep things barely chilled, and because of the proximity to Temple Bar, we had to sleep with the windows closed for the entire weekend. I feel the hotel charged at least 35% more than my room was worth, possibly because it was the weekend of the marathon

Cons: Handicap room, which was not suited for others with low and very small sink. Shower type assured water to go over the floor.

Cons: Not enough power points/sockets in the room for a modern tech age. The AC unit had mold on it

Cons: Our room was dissappointing. Got a Deluxe room. No air conditioning so we had to open window. Very noisy being on the street. Room was small, bathroom was small and not very nice.

Cons: Garish, uncomfortable rooms located directly over a firestation where a fire engine runs 24/7. On a busy weekend, sirens go off regularly, pigeons fly in the window if you ppem it and the staff are harried.

Cons: The only negative I would say was the service in the bar. We stopped in upon arrival to grab a quick bite to eat which did not end up being quick. It seemed like the staff was more interested in talking to eachother than helping us, and when I finally flagged the bartender down he asked us if we were in a hurry, not the kind of service you would expect from a hotel of this status. On the up side the food and drinks were great and we just opted for room service for dinner.

Cons: Not being able to adjust the air in my room... I'm always cool by nature. Extra blankets were provided!

Cons: One of rooms did not have air conditioning and was a little warm. Otherwise an excellent experience.

Cons: Bathroom was dirty, lighting was poor in the rooms, shower was rubbish, reception was slow, messed up our key cards & we had to go back to a massive queue to get them authorised & reception thought it was funny but it was a waste of our time. Tea / coffee in rooms poor, rooms not 4 star, dirty windows, building work being done so noisy, the lift is so slow!

Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Cons: A bit noisy as hotel is under renovation, but unless you spend the day at hotel they make sure to minimize disturbance to guests (didn't make noise before 10am during my stay).

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

Cons: Rooms are not sound-proofed but the hotel supplies you with ear-plugs which block the noises from the area’s night-life activities (especially during the weekend).

Cons: The worst beds . The hotel needs to invest in new mattresses. The staff were kind enough to change our room but the beds weren't any better.

Cons: Front desk staff always seemed busy giving tourist info to guests ahead of me. Weird how you must pass the desk to get to your room. Felt like you are passing a panel of judges, though theyvare friendly. I think they should have an irish accented greeter because the staff here sounded like any nice hotel in san francisco where I am from.

Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Cons: The bar as good as it is, a bit of a tourist trap... It shouldn't be €5-6 for a pint... The rooms were hot as hell, the window barely opened and only at the end of stay did we find out we could request a fan... Not much else to complain about.

Cons: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.
