Cons: Staff were all very nice, but seemed like they needed training, particularly in the restaurant. Often no one attending the lobby, at check in, or concierge. On check out, no-one asked how was the stay, and not even to-go coffee available (which is almost standard expectation these days, even in lower quality hotels). Tried calling room service & was told they would call me back, after 10 mins I called them back to say don't bother. Breakfast is really expensive, supposed to start at 7am .. I wanted an omlette ... Was told by waitress that I needed "to ask the omlette guy" at the buffet , he didn't show up til 720am. I asked him if I could have toast with the omlette, he said "you need to ask the waitress" ... It was more Fawlty Towers than Four Seasons

Cons: Location was out of the way if you want to do sight seeing, but it was close to the airport so perfect for us (we stayed there the last day of our trip). Bit of a wait for the business center computers, some of the other guests were using for non-business purposes - wish there was a sign that had a time limit or something.

Pros: The hotel was really very good & in a great location - in the middle of all the action but I asked for a quiet room and it was indeed very quiet. I would have scored the hotel as exceptional had it not been for an incident at breakfast on Sunday. The breakfast on Saturday was superb but on Sunday there was hardly anything available and when I asked if the fruit bowls could be refilled (I wanted fruit & yoghurt) I was first of all presented with a bowl full of large chunks of dragon fruit & when I asked for either grapefruit, pineapple or apple I was given a whole grapefruit - complete with peel - just put into my hand. Absolutely bizarre!!!

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Cons: There was no AC in the hotel on the top floor.. it forced us to keep the window open as it was very warm -78-80 F in the room Staff tried to help us with heater/fans... but... that didnt really help. We were forced to leave the window open and endure the nightly noise of Fleet street. This was disappointing.

Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Cons: The hotel is in a process of refurbishment so only the 4th floor was in use during our stay. The hammering and drilling started at 8am on both days we stayed and despite moving rooms it was like being on a building site.
The beds at the hotel were the hardest I have ever slept on, I have been very fortunate to have travelled all over the world with my job so have slept in many hotels but this bed ranked as one of the worst!
We were in room 400 (on the 4th floor) which was the furthest room from the elevator. Annoyingly it was too far for the wifi to stretch so we were forced to sit in the lobby to get online. Overall our stay was very disappointing and we won't return to this hotel in future.

Cons: The only downside was we had to print our boarding passes for our flight home but when I asked the man on the reception desk could the hotel do it , he said if I sent them the email they would print them . I did not have an email , it was on the Ryanair App . We had to go to a near by Internet cafe and printers to do it . Two years ago we stayed at the nearby Cassidy’s hotel and all they needed was the booking reference number and they did it in a few minutes . Apart from that there were no other issues .

Cons: Moved on first night due to road noise. Our second room was better however we were over the car park where lights were on all night meaning the room was very light. Also when asking for my key I was given a different room number absolutely no security. I wasn't asked for my name meaning anyone could go into anyone's rooms. Then on check out I was asked for around 66.00 euros for a food and drink bill. I hadn't even eaten in the restaurant. All in all very poor.

Pros: The hotel is situated in a very nice historical building, not far from the city center. The bus stop is situated just near the hotel (less than 1 min walk). Rooms are spacious
Cons: Although hotel has 4*, there is not fridge and/or mini bar in the room. Room service is very limited at evenings and nights (you can only order pizza) and they charge 7 EUR for the delivery, which makes it easier and cheaper to order a delivery from outside venues. It was very cold in the room throughout the whole stay.

Pros: Location was really good and the place was very clean. If you wanted to eat meals at the hostel and spend a lot of your time there, it's a nice place for that, although overpriced as far as hostels go (even in Dublin). Definitely a party hostel but I was just surprised at how expensive it is.

Pros: Based on the price point we got it at, it was a great stay. We stayed in a 6 bed unit which was surprisingly comfortable.
The hotel bar was good, and great atmosphere while the Eurocup was on.
Overall the place was always clean, lots of staff around which was nice.
The demographic was crazy... People of all ages which was fantastic!
It couldn't be closer to Jameson.
Great bars and restaurants around it as well.
It's about a 15 minute walk to temple bar area.

Pros: The staff here is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!

Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Cons: Room service menu was very disappointing - no hot food available - requestwd a toasted sandwich bit only managed to have a ham sandwich that had bairly seen the toaster. €22 for 2 sandwiches, disgraceful. Nit alliwed to charge it to the room so had to pay on the spot - not good customer service. Also no entertainment/music in the evenings so after the rugby mstch, it all fell very flat.

Cons: We thought it expensive particularly as one of our party wanted a single room but had to pay for a double as no alternatives. Not too bad price wise when sharing a room. Also they lost our dinner booking so our party was put into the huge dining area on our own. However they were very generous with compensating us. Could do with more bar staff on match days

Pros: Avalon House is full of amenities and friendly travelers - the perfect place to stay in Dublin. Nice, clean facilities with a delicious free breakfast! Pros: It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.
Cons: This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!
