Cons: Lighting was bad for putting on makeup

Cons: The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes. The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.

Cons: There was no plugs for hair tools and phone charging

Cons: The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.

Cons: There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.

Cons: There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later. The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible. We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.

Cons: Triple room was somewhat cramped.

Cons: One afternoon the do not disturb sign was ignored and the house keeping staff tried to force the door open. Luckily there was a second lock device to prevent that. My wife had just flown in from America and landed at 7am. She went across America and then across the Atlantic, and she was understandably tired. We were trying to rest when we heard the racket at the door, startling both of us. It actually made me pretty angry, since the Do Not Disturb sign was outside. The next day they forgot the bottles of water for my room. The following day they forgot face cloths. The refrigerator was struggling to keep things barely chilled, and because of the proximity to Temple Bar, we had to sleep with the windows closed for the entire weekend. I feel the hotel charged at least 35% more than my room was worth, possibly because it was the weekend of the marathon

Cons: Very small room with minimal closet space and walking space and a step down to get to the bathroom Had larger room for less money on my 5 previous stays here

Cons: Not enough power points/sockets in the room for a modern tech age. The AC unit had mold on it

Cons: Handicap room, which was not suited for others with low and very small sink. Shower type assured water to go over the floor.

Cons: There was no AC. In order to open the window to get a slight breeze, the blinds had to be open facing a building with bright lights.

Cons: Once when I left my room early in the morning and returned around noon my room wasn't tidy, so after that I always put the "Tidy My Room" sign when I left my room. This is not that much bad but I expected it.

Cons: the only downfall was that we couldn't get breakfast in bed the next morning but other than that no problems

Cons: Walls are thin. Heard many conversations from next room. Also Oly's Restaurant is mediocre. Acceptable if you're too knackered to go out.

Cons: For the price, you can do better in Dublin. Had to ask for toothbrush, tooth paste, bottled water. I feel like those are pretty standard, though maybe that's not typical in Dublin.

Cons: Front desk staff always seemed busy giving tourist info to guests ahead of me. Weird how you must pass the desk to get to your room. Felt like you are passing a panel of judges, though theyvare friendly. I think they should have an irish accented greeter because the staff here sounded like any nice hotel in san francisco where I am from.

Cons: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.

Cons: The bar as good as it is, a bit of a tourist trap... It shouldn't be €5-6 for a pint... The rooms were hot as hell, the window barely opened and only at the end of stay did we find out we could request a fan... Not much else to complain about.

Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Cons: Beds were comfortable but creaked. Every time you turned or moved, the whole bed would creak and move. Also it was very hot at night due to having a very small window in the room.

Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Cons: The bathroom was very out-dated. The tub was chipped in many places. The shower head was very high up and almost facing the wall, but it was too high to reach to fix it. The sink had a hot water faucet with its own spout and a cold water faucet with it’s own spout, making washing up extremely difficult!! Also there was a vent that came on when the bathroom door was opened and it blew the shower curtain into the tub, so it would stick on my body while i was in the shower, which is kind of gross.

Cons: Noise echoes through halls at night, outside street noise at any hour.

Cons: The hallway carpeting can use a good cleaning to remove the old and stale smell.

Cons: The bathroom needed maintenance. There was mold growing on the wall above the door and the grout was discolored with mildew. The toilet leaked and made the room smell of sewer. It was unusually warm the first day we were there. They don't have air-conditioning; which is understandable but there were no fans available and the windows only open a few inches. The area outside our window was filled with several mechanical units which were rather loud.

Cons: There was a construction site next door. Horrible noise starting 7 a.m.

Cons: No hair conditioner. If I hadn’t called ahead and asked about parking in downtown Dublin it would’ve cost a pretty penny. No breakfast but you do get two small complimentary drinks when you get there. The drinks at their bar are pricey but comparable to other Temple Bar pubs. Breakfast restaurant closes at 11:00 even though check out is at 12, so be mindful!
