Pros: Beautiful hotel, exceptional service, great quality of products. I would stay at the marker every time.
Cons: Nothing! Could be a little far from the downtown area but it's clearly specified on all websites. Overall great hotel, worth every cent.

Pros: Love their bar. It looks brand new.

Excellent10,0
Pros: Super comfy bed and amazing bathrooms! Loved everything about this hotel!
Excellent9,3
Pros: extremely friendly staff helpful staff food bar breakfast included
Excellent9,4
Pros: Rooms were some of the nicest at any hotel we stayed in Ireland, restaurant and bar were top notch and the food was great; breakfast was also great. Parking included and very convenient. Business center with 2 computers and free printing. Very nice lounge area.
Cons: Location was out of the way if you want to do sight seeing, but it was close to the airport so perfect for us (we stayed there the last day of our trip). Bit of a wait for the business center computers, some of the other guests were using for non-business purposes - wish there was a sign that had a time limit or something.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Staff went out of their way to help and were very friendly and professional. The rooms were luxurious and very well equipped, fantastic value for money. Far enough from the centre of town to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to walk. When we come back to Dublin we will definitely stay here if it's available.
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike.
Excellent8,3
Pros: Was attending game at Croke Park stadium so location was excellent for that event. If I wasn't attending the game, the location wasn't good.
Cons: Rate was inflated too much for the game.
Good7,0
Pros: Fine hotel. Free printing was a good perk. Hotel bar and bar food was a decent and tasty value.
Cons: The location is suboptimal. It was not a safe walk from the downtown to the hotel at night or in the early morning. It is needed to take a cab from the hotel to the city center during those hours.
Excellent10,0
Pros: This hotel is Dublin's gem! It's perfectly appointed and well situated within a few minutes (very safe) walk to the attractions, city sights, public transportation, restaurants and tour companies. The entire staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. All their recommendations were spot on. This hotel has my full endorsement.
Located in Temple Bar, this hotel is steps away from Bank of Ireland, Trinity College and O'Connell Bridge. O'Connell Street and Grafton Street are also within 5 minutes. Abbey Street Station is 5 minutes by foot and Jervis Station is 7 minutes.

Pros: The staff was friendly and had nice scones and tea in the lobby.
Cons: The wake up call was a little late, so set a back up alarm just in case.

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Street noise and sarcastic security staff.
Excellent10,0
Pros: I was a little hesitant on getting a hotel in Temple Bar - it's a noisy pub crawl neighborhood, but that all went away when I stepped inside. It's on the far end of Temple Bar, near O'Connel Street, but that means it's central to everything. I was able to drop off my luggage early so I could explore Dublin for the day. I also got upgraded from a single room to a double with no extra charge. Room was quiet - during the day you could occasionally here slot machines outside the window, but I can't complain. Never heard the bar crowd. Great facilities, never got to check out the pool or breakfast but I'm sure they're both wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dublin, for either business or leisure.
Excellent8,2
Pros: Staff, Ambience, location,
Cons: No Air conditioning, fan provided was weak. Windows needed to stay open to cool room,Which brought in noise from the street and woke me up several times

We have stayed here multiple times because their location is so good. It’s in the heart of the action. That might not be for everyone since it might get a bit noisy at night but we love it. The manager Dezirae was so helpful and genuinely loves her job. I know we will definitely be back.

Cons: No air or ventilation in the room. Hot as hell and when you open the window for air it's like being in a night club until 3 am
Excellent9,4
Pros: Great location, helpful and very attentive staff and good on site food options.. Most of the city's attractions are within a mile of the location - so they are walkable and there is
Cons: There was no AC in the hotel on the top floor.. it forced us to keep the window open as it was very warm -78-80 F in the room Staff tried to help us with heater/fans... but... that didnt really help. We were forced to leave the window open and endure the nightly noise of Fleet street. This was disappointing. Other than this our stay at the Morgan was good.
Excellent9,7
Pros: The location! The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The beds are not that comfy , mattresses are pretty thin.
Excellent8,6
Pros: Enjoyed proximity to shopping, and public transportation. We especially enjoyed breakfast buffet - which was part of our package. The staff was helpful and gracious. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
Cons: While we are "an almost mature couple" and enjoy being close to the nightlife - the proximity to all of the nighttime crowds and related noise was a bit disconcerting and noisy. While we advised staff that our phone was out - which made it difficult to contact our family in other rooms - couldn't seem to get it correct within our 3 night stay.
Good6,2
Pros: The room was lovely.
Cons: The several live bands every Friday-Sunday night in the neighborhood might as well be in your bedroom. If you like drums, loud choruses, and bass guitars, then all will seem fine. Really a shame for an otherwise pleasant hotel
Excellent9,1
Pros: Good location, friendly staff and helpful
Cons: Wi Fi in room was poor and intermittent
Excellent10,0
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Cons: Sense of confusion at frnt desk, peoblem with separation of smoking from dining areas.

Pros: Cookie upon arrival. Staff tried to be helpful when we had to move rooms due to building noise from the fire escape which was next to our room. The gym was clean and well equipped.
Cons: The hotel is in a process of refurbishment so only the 4th floor was in use during our stay. The hammering and drilling started at 8am on both days we stayed and despite moving rooms it was like being on a building site. The beds at the hotel were the hardest I have ever slept on, I have been very fortunate to have travelled all over the world with my job so have slept in many hotels but this bed ranked as one of the worst! We were in room 400 (on the 4th floor) which was the furthest room from the elevator. Annoyingly it was too far for the wifi to stretch so we were forced to sit in the lobby to get online. Overall our stay was very disappointing and we won't return to this hotel in future.
Good6,2
Cons: Room was too small and vary dark and basic. Poor service at breakfast hotel needs a freshen up- dining room looks in need of a revamp. Not the same as it used to be.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Location, room size. I would stay again, now I know how to find the place.
Cons: We travelled by car and found it almost impossible to find the entrance. By foot it would have been easy. We were given very many wrong directions. No AC

Pros: We enjoyed our two night stay here so much we actually came back for a third night. This hotel is ideally located for touring around Dublin. We took a bus from the airport straight to the hotel, the tour bus lines leave from ten yards down the sidewalk and taxis line up right across the street. You are right across from the historic post office and the temple bar district is a 6 euro taxi ride away. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. If we go back to Dublin we would definitely stay here again.
Cons: This hotel is situated right in the city so don't expect a view.

Pros: The relaxation room Clean Modern Honey Near tram Parking WiFi
Cons: - No flowers in room, some did other didnt not the same - Was two single beds pushed together rather that a real double bed - I think breakfast should have been included in the price - free parking if hotel guest would have been perfect - staff know about the public transport services, brief all staff - plug sockets should have usb connections as standard - more water in room - sitcom did not work properly - towel ring nearbtge sink to easily dry hands - the removable show head holder could not take the weight of the shower head so always pointed down yiubhad to hold - the plugs in the foot spa did not work - maybe more variety in food menu. Same everyday. - some staff excellent, others sour face

Pros: As a fairly frequent traveler, this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Spotless, classy, the staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel inside. My room was also one of the quietest I've experienced. Just an all around great hotel.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the area. Close to the airport, but not exactly the safest place to be during late day/early evening (as told to me by a policeman when I had gotten a bit lost returning to my hotel from downtown and was checking to see if I was heading in the correct direction). Plus, the distance from downtown is a bit of a stretch if you don't have a car. However, the LUAS (tram system) is right outside the door, so that was partly my fault as I had not reviewed the transportation system prior to my trip.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and very modern and clean. The shower was wonderful!
Cons: After oversleeping I missed out on the breakfast I had prepaid and the hotel would not refund me for it.
Excellent8,8
Pros: It was situated perfectly for the concert my daughter and her friend were attending, food and staff were excellent although the food was a bit pricey, rooms very well equipped
Cons: The website should have fore warned me about the roadworks leading to the car park, a fuse blew in my room in the morning which left me without air con and tv
Excellent8,0
Pros: Ate in the bar. They put on MNS on SS1 so saw the Leicester v Chelsea game too
Excellent10,0
The size the rooms Will ne better to get more choice in the tv
Excellent10,0
Pros: The Gibson well placed for access to the 3 arena and the city is just a short walk (20min) or a tram ride away. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are welcoming and helpful. We arrived mid morning and they were able to give us rooms we’ll ahead of check in time.

Pros: service was wonderful--staff very attentive and helpful room was very comfortable.
Cons: wifi was not reliable. This made it difficult to conduct business
Excellent8,8
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff at both the front desk and bar/restaurant. Comfortable clean rooms with nice amenities. Location was easy to get to and easy to get to the airport the next day.
Cons: Carpeting in room had a few stains, and the cart for dirty room service dishes outside the elevator a bit tacky.
Excellent9,6
Pros: I loved the restaurant they had. Best steak ever. Everybody at the restaurant where super nice and friendly same as the hotel.
Good7,4
Pros: Checkout time of 12. Friendly staff. Convenient location (close to city center and airport):
Cons: No air conditioning made sleeping difficult a few nights. The double room had 3 beds (two doubles and one queen) instead of two queens. No couch or armchairs in the room.
Good7,4
Pros: Location was convenient and non-room facilities and restaurant were quite nice.
Cons: We we reserved and were sold “an executive king” with a view and upon arrival were told no such accommodation exists (caution!). in fact, our executive king was actually a quite small king room, with a view of parking lot and busy street and no air conditioning. It turns out that is situation with many of the hotel’s rooms. The only way to get ventilation is to open a window which gives you much highway noise. Not at all a restful setting.
Located in City Centre Dublin, this hotel is steps away from O'Connell Street and Gate Theatre. Dublin Writers Museum and General Post Office (GPO) are also within 10 minutes. Abbey Street Station is 7 minutes by foot and Busaras Station is 10 minutes.

Pros: Location and cleanliness of hotel. Definitely the value for the money. Food in restaurant was great.
Excellent8,2
Pros: The staff throughout our stay were GREAT! Friendly, helpful, and polite, we were treated very well. The location is great for going out, just a short walk to Temple Bar.
Cons: The rooms are tiny. We were a bit cramped both in the main area as well as the bathroom. Smokers hang out just outside of the main lobby doors so you're forced to walk through a cloud of smoke on your way in and out of the hotel. Very unpleasant!
Excellent8,5
Pros: The location was great for a tourist. Close to tour outlets, hop on and hop off bus stops and to a variety of restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, though small.
Excellent9,4
Pros: Location. Amazing location. The bus 747 from the airport stops right in front of the hotel.
Cons: You cannot change it now...but the rooms are tiny and shower cabins are super tiny. A heavier-set person might have issues getting into the cabin.
Good6,2
Pros: The location is great . Close to shops and restaurants.
Cons: They had a fire alarm test while we were sleeping and we were scared running downstairs to find out it was a test and they did not let us know in advance. I found that really bad specially as i am at end of pregnancy.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Literally the bus stop from Airlink from the Dublin airport is right in front of the hotel.
Located in City Centre Dublin, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Trinity College and Dublin Castle are also within 1 mi (2 km). Charlemont Station is only a 2-minute walk and Harcourt Street Station is 6 minutes.

Pros: 15 Euro Breakfast was great. reception staff was friendly. 15 minute walk to city center
Cons: Family room was a joke; tiny and unequipped for any sized family. Same size as any other room. View from most rooms is of the light rail line that runs directly next to the building. 'Turndown service' was a bottle of water and a chocolate; no room freshening or evening/bed prep. Parking ticket system was inconvenient but ok, smoked in room (which was remedied), shower not draining and room phone not working
Excellent9,4
Pros: Great staff - all very helpful. Amy and Patrick were awesome!
Cons: All was good
Okay5,9
Onsite car park was very full and their breakfast setup is far from optimal. They assign time slots so you either have to get up super early or really late. So basically you can't count on getting breakfast.

Pros: The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. The leisure center and staff were wonderful. Location is good for a walk around the city.
Cons: Hotel staff wasn't overly helpful. No parking on site (no valet either). I asked for someone to help bring in bags and they never sent anyone out. Each time we ordered room service they got part of our order wrong and it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix something simple. Not a very customer centric environment. I don't think I'd stay there again.
Good7,1
Pros: I liked that it was very close to the business area, and you could walk to Temple Bar, within 15 minutes. The hotel staff is very kind.
Cons: It was a little bit old fashion for a tech district. My room had a bathroom for disabled people and it was a little bit uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because of the room availability. Don´t call a taxi from the hotel, it takes forever. We waited for 30 min and ended up booking a MyTaxi last minute, since we were going to be late and we had no clue on how longer we had to wait.

Cons: Front desk staff always seemed busy giving tourist info to guests ahead of me. Weird how you must pass the desk to get to your room. Felt like you are passing a panel of judges, though theyvare friendly. I think they should have an irish accented greeter because the staff here sounded like any nice hotel in san francisco where I am from.

Pros: Location and friendly staff.

Pros: The breakfast was reasonably priced and perfect for filling us up for the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very centrally located for walking just about anywhere, but it wasn’t too close to bars and restaurants so it was quiet.

Pros: My husband is disabled and he was treated so nicely and the staff was so accommodating . It was a boys weekend he and my son went on and at the end the ladies came out from behind the desk to give him a proper hug. That was lovely hotel was clean and the location is great.
Excellent8,2
Pros: Location was great. Despite the construction things were quiet but it was just a few minutes walk to all the key areas of city-center Dublin. The staff were courteous and very helpful in setting up a prompt can for an early morning flight.
Cons: As may be expected in a chain hotel in a big city the staff were not local and did not have a lot of first had recommendations for places to eat or estimated times it would take to walk places.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Couldn't fault this hotel. Stayed for three nights. Room good size, very clean and quiet. Bed, pillows wonderful. Bathroom clean and adequate. The security is extremely good, you use your key to access corridors, lifts and toilets. All staff very friendly and helpful. Bar welcoming and food very good. This hotel is in an ideal location, very central and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
This family-friendly Dublin hostel is located in the entertainment district, within a 15-minute walk of Jameson Distillery Bow St; Dublin Castle and Guinness Storehouse. Pros: I got upgraded to an all female ensuite room, which was fantastic, bright and big. All the bathrooms in the whole building were clean from what I saw, fantastic bar, friendly staff, loved my stay! Each bed came with a huge lockable storage box, if you didn't have your own lock they were 5 euro at reception.
Cons: The regular rooms were very small and cramped and windowless.
Excellent9,4
Pros: Based on the price point we got it at, it was a great stay. We stayed in a 6 bed unit which was surprisingly comfortable. The hotel bar was good, and great atmosphere while the Eurocup was on. Overall the place was always clean, lots of staff around which was nice. The demographic was crazy... People of all ages which was fantastic! It couldn't be closer to Jameson. Great bars and restaurants around it as well. It's about a 15 minute walk to temple bar area. 10 minute walk to Guinness.
Cons: The bar as good as it is, a bit of a tourist trap... It shouldn't be €5-6 for a pint... The rooms were hot as hell, the window barely opened and only at the end of stay did we find out we could request a fan... Not much else to complain about.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Location and atmosphere were fun.
Cons: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.
Excellent9,4
Pros: The staff here is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!
Cons: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.
Okay5,1
Pros: Location was really good and the place was very clean. If you wanted to eat meals at the hostel and spend a lot of your time there, it's a nice place for that, although overpriced as far as hostels go (even in Dublin). Definitely a party hostel but I was just surprised at how expensive it is.
Cons: Staff were really unhelpful and made my stay somewhat negative.
Excellent9,4
Pros: The hostel was very clean and well kept. Had a bar and cafe which made it much easy to find to find food and drinks. The food was reasonably priced. I don't see why I wouldn't use Generator again whether it was in Dublin or somewhere else.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Fabulous value for the money. €52 for two people in a spotlessly clean double private room w bathroom. Right in Smithfield steps away from great restaurants, cinema, pubs cafes and live Irish Music. Right above the Jameson Brewery Tasting Rooms. Laundry facilities, on site pub and cafe and luggage storeage. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, warm and quiet. Felt very safe also.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good!
Good6,0
Pros: The facilities are modern and relatively clean. Rooms are well maintained and mattresses are pretty comfortable. The bar area is nice and live music is a plus. Building and rooms are also secure. Swipe cards are required to go anywhere and there’s security at the door.
Cons: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.
Excellent9,1
Pros: Easy to feel included and apart of something as a solo traveller. The staff and environment in general make the hostel have a home like feel. Convenient plugs and lights with every bed. Good food at breakfast and for lunch/dinner. Close enough to walk to city center, temple bar area etc but far enough that you feel safe because you don't have to deal with drunk strangers, and the loud streets of the city centre.
Cons: Beds were comfortable but creaked. Every time you turned or moved, the whole bed would creak and move. Also it was very hot at night due to having a very small window in the room.
Located in Temple Bar, this hostel is steps away from Dublinia, Christ Church Cathedral and Dublin Castle. St. Patrick's Cathedral and Trinity College are also within 10 minutes. Four Courts Station is 6 minutes by foot and Jervis Station is 9 minutes.

Pros: Kinlay house is located in a great area, near many of Dublin's main sights. I would definitely stay here again. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
Cons: The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.

Pros: It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.
Cons: Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.

Pros: The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
Cons: The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
