Cons: Rooms. Service. Location.

Pros: Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons!

Cons: That we didn't get to stay longer!

Pros: Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!

Pros: We were pleased to discover lovely furniture, richly coloured carpets, wall coverings and draperies. Delivered the feel of old-world Europe! Great experience overall was further spiced up with small surprises- delicious, relaxing camomile tea became our soothingly nightcap, and an excellent in-room African blend coffee started the day off right. Also happy to find the bedside clock with a built-in smartphone charger/mount - all too rare in hotels...

Pros: I loved the service. Everyone was so friendly, the whole vibe was very welcoming and it’s more luxurious then we are used to so we felt very lucky to have had a chance to stay here.

Cons: That we couldn’t have stayed longer, but work calls.

Cons: Restaurant has very limited options and very rude staff. food taste poor and not worth money. Hotel is very small with limited facilities. I will not like to stay again.

Pros: We find this hotel charming and a well kept secret.

Pros: The rooms are small, but everything else was great. Fantastic front desk. The hotel was quite willing to change a reservation by 24 hours, but not the hotel booker.

Cons: Turns out that the booking service (that begins with "K" and won't allow comments on this site, uses a third party hotel booker (also not allowed a mention here) but begins with a "G" who are totally inflexible.

Pros: Simone who helped ch Heck us in was enthusiastic about her job and tried to help us every way she could. We arrived very early from a cruise and our room was not ready. She kept us informed about the room. She also checked with the restaurant that we made reservations at to verify the time and made an additional reservation for the following evening. She told us that she was a student in a hospitality and tourism program. I’m sure she will be successful and the Executive Hotel Le Soleilel is very lucky to have her as an employee

Cons: The guests' attention and treatment is extremely bad in this hotel. I had a minor misunderstanding with my credit card when checking in, and the front desk staff didn't solve it and what is more, they acted in a very unpleasant and rude manner. They even refused to give me a complaint form. I haven't got any feedback from the complaint I finally was able to submit.

Pros: This is the perfect hotel to be close to the cruise terminal as well as for sightseeing, right next to Gastown, Chinatown, and the Skytrain.

Cons: Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.

Pros: I loved and appreciate the fact that we got an upgrade from a city view to a harbour view room and plus the front desk didn't even let us pay for the 2 water bottles of water we used in our room after finding out that we were there for our wedding anniversary.

Cons: The fact that the room felt somewhat expensive and still charged for wifi and water. No free breakfast as well

Pros: Beautiful location and elegant decor. Room and bedding very comfortable and spacious. All service was friendly and prompt. Bellman was especially helpful with information and very courteous. Very enjoyable.

Pros: Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.

Pros: Proximity to the cruise ship terminal. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking, bus or subway (Sky Rail). Extremely courteous staff, very helpful. Will definitely stay there in the future.

Pros: Proximity to the HAL cruise terminal was unbeatable. The lunchtime service in the bar downstairs was excellent, including jazz music selected by our waitress. The bed was comfortable. The desk attendant got us a room quickly even though we arrived quite early.

Cons: The water and shower were strange. Hot water ran out of the cold faucet in the sink for a full minute before it got cold, every time. Temperature of the shower and strength of the stream were from the same dial, so to get good pressure you had to sacrifice comfort. Truly bizarre. You need better signage downstairs to find the front desk. Usually they're on the ground floor. One of the down elevators was out, so we had a long wait because the first one working was full. $4.50 for bottles of water in the room? No way! There should be 2 complimentary water bottles, which you get in other fine hotels. And there is no convenience store nearby which stocks good water at a reasonable price. The (excellent) TV in the room was set at an odd angle, you have to twist your neck to view. Channel selections did not include Fox Business, which has higher ratings than CNBC; and MLB Network, which has baseball coverage other than the Toronto Blue Jays. And if you must burn half a dozen channels on French language programming, it's time to expand channel capacity. The three dinner restaurants had problems, in addition to high prices. The bar which had such good recorded music at lunch had a terrible, whiny live folksinger performing. We had to leave. The top premium restaurant was closed for a special event, and the third was expensive and you could still hear the awful folksinger because there was no wall. We wound up dining at the hotel across the street. You don't want people walking in there, do you? Finally, and most annoyingly, there was a fifteen minute waiting queue for a taxicab when we were leaving for the airport. The cab driver explained that the problem was all the cabs were handling cruise ship traffic. Well, this must happen most days, and you need to do something about it besides having an older doorman losing a battle with the hotel across the street (and customers down the street) for the attention of the taxis. You should probably warn your guests in advance of the problem, and provide a list of private local cars/limos and the URL of the Vancouver version of Uber as alternatives. And hire a sexy young woman to replace the older gent because if cabbies in Canada are anything like those in the U.S., they won't make sharp U-turns to avoid a beautiful woman making sharp whistling sounds.

Cons: You have to go through the parking garage to get to the gym - and it was cold!

Cons: Spending a lot of money on a 5 star hotel is OK but to be charged extra to use WIFI seems greedy. In 5 weeks in Canada this is the only hotel we stayed in which charged. It was also the most expensive.

Pros: The location and views were superb. Also nice little shopping arcade within complex with reasonably priced jewellery.

Cons: Being charged to use internet facilities and having to pay for bottled water in room!

Pros: We were going on an Alaska Cruise. It was very convenient to board the ship. The hotel was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel.

Cons: To charge for bottled water in the room was outrageous! We were also surprised to see charges for the use of internet, something offered free by other hotels we used during our trip to Canada. When my husband made the booking he commented that it was part of our Silver Wedding Anniversay, no reference was made to this and we observed serveral couples being congratuated on their recent marriages.

Pros: All the staff were great and very polite (In the reception Kim and Jason are awesome). Excellent location and easy access.

Cons: The toilet in our bathroom was located immediately in front of the sink which made access to the sink a bit awkward. New bathrooms are small.

Cons: This is solidly a two-star hotel. Admittedly this is my first and last experience in a Delta Hotel. There was nothing that I was used to experiencing in other Marriott-brand hotels. The room was spacious but the positives ended there. The "suite" was really an urban 1-br meaning there was a 3/4 wall dividing the bedroom from the living space, so we had to be super quiet once our baby went down for the night. Definitely not "suite". The room was clean-ish, but definitely dingy, maybe this was due to the age of the hotel. Definitely in need of an update. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable...surprising since this is usually the strong point at a Marriott. The couch was falling apart, the upholstery was separating at the seams and felt as though I was sitting directly on the hide-away frame beneath. The fixed shower pipe jutting from the wall was low and angled awkwardly sideways, making it difficult to aim the showerhead properly. I am only 6' and I had to contort myself awkwardly to wet my hair. We left a day early since we were not comfortable.

Pros: I liked the suite setup. I liked the location, as I had a meeting at the Convention Center. I liked the free Internet access.

Cons: We felt the cleaning staff could have done a better job. There was some question of safety after 2 nights of police present on the streets boudering our hotel.

Cons: Not offered any compensation for having to wait for a room when we checked into the hotel well after the posted check in time. We had to wait an hour at a local coffee shop, as there was no where to wait at the hotel other than then lobby, as all hotel facilities were closed.

Cons: We heard the traffic in the early morning, people shouting and sirens all night. The appliances were a bit out dated. The parking was expensive and they charged you for the morning newspaper if you placed it in your room. Patrons should be aware of this when booking

Pros: This is an amazing hotel which I would recommend to anyone I know needing accommodation in Vancouver. Absolutely fabulous. Clean, very helpful staff, lovely room, great bar, great location.
