Pros: Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also,every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!

Pros: Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.

Cons: Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.

Pros: Everything. Perfect location, beautiful and very comfortable design of the room, friendly and helpful staff. The best breakfest I have ever ate. I recommend booking a room with access to a business Lounge - this is the best option.

Pros: Stellar modern, clean and quiet room. The service at every step was equally stellar.

Cons: $15 for Wifi? Guys, this isn't 2000. You MUST drop that fee. I realize it feeds into your rewards program, but we won't be back. Simple as. that. Finally, the be comforter is way too thick. The room does have a modern thermometer.

Pros: Bed was great, gold lounge was Great, pool hot tub was great, food was great.

Cons: The cars were not readily available as they were with my previous stay, having to cab wasn’t ideal. Other than that everything was great, thank you.

Pros: Perfect location - very easy walking distance to everything. Great view. Fantastic vibe in the lobby/bar area, with live music daily - made you want to stop and spend some time there. Staff were excellent. Very handy having bikes at the hotel too :)

Cons: No specific space in the room for having a suitcase open, other than the entry hallway - not a big issue, but just meant you had to have your suitcase shut whenever you weren't using it otherwise you couldn't walk past it to get in to the room.

Pros: Location to Stanley Park, Staff, lounge with live music, good gym, proximity to everything

Cons: Couldn't extend stay for even 1 hour, everything is pricy

Pros: The air of sophistication and luxury. The ambience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim is hard to match. I liked the knowledgeable staff and their willingness to be of service to guests.

Cons: House keeping can still improve in their cleanliness.

Pros: Perfect location. Great in- house facilities. Extra bonus was the upgraded room. Totally unexpected for the inconvenience of the strike action. My early check- in and late check- out was also facilitated.

Cons: Strike action happening right at the front door where one exits the hotel.

Pros: Our experience there was exceptional! The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was gorgeous and we received a free upgrade. We would definitely go back. Vancouver is a great city with something for everyone.

Pros: Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons!

Pros: Everything!

Pros: Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!

Cons: Deluxe rooms are very small, we booked for 4 adults and not only the size of room but size of beds was quite small too. Breakfast was not interesting at all.

Pros: Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. Used it for a one-night pre-cruise stay and it couldn't have been easier. Easily walked to Gastown for shopping and dining.

Cons: Sometimes the elevators took a while and were full, so we'd have to wait for the next one.

Pros: Proximity to the HAL cruise terminal was unbeatable. The lunchtime service in the bar downstairs was excellent, including jazz music selected by our waitress. The bed was comfortable. The desk attendant got us a room quickly even though we arrived quite early.

Cons: The water and shower were strange. Hot water ran out of the cold faucet in the sink for a full minute before it got cold, every time. Temperature of the shower and strength of the stream were from the same dial, so to get good pressure you had to sacrifice comfort. Truly bizarre. You need better signage downstairs to find the front desk. Usually they're on the ground floor. One of the down elevators was out, so we had a long wait because the first one working was full. $4.50 for bottles of water in the room? No way! There should be 2 complimentary water bottles, which you get in other fine hotels. And there is no convenience store nearby which stocks good water at a reasonable price. The (excellent) TV in the room was set at an odd angle, you have to twist your neck to view. Channel selections did not include Fox Business, which has higher ratings than CNBC; and MLB Network, which has baseball coverage other than the Toronto Blue Jays. And if you must burn half a dozen channels on French language programming, it's time to expand channel capacity. The three dinner restaurants had problems, in addition to high prices. The bar which had such good recorded music at lunch had a terrible, whiny live folksinger performing. We had to leave. The top premium restaurant was closed for a special event, and the third was expensive and you could still hear the awful folksinger because there was no wall. We wound up dining at the hotel across the street. You don't want people walking in there, do you? Finally, and most annoyingly, there was a fifteen minute waiting queue for a taxicab when we were leaving for the airport. The cab driver explained that the problem was all the cabs were handling cruise ship traffic. Well, this must happen most days, and you need to do something about it besides having an older doorman losing a battle with the hotel across the street (and customers down the street) for the attention of the taxis. You should probably warn your guests in advance of the problem, and provide a list of private local cars/limos and the URL of the Vancouver version of Uber as alternatives. And hire a sexy young woman to replace the older gent because if cabbies in Canada are anything like those in the U.S., they won't make sharp U-turns to avoid a beautiful woman making sharp whistling sounds.

Pros: Location is amazing for walking in downtown Vancouver. Sky train is steps away. Felt safe and secure.

Cons: I was paying over $--- for a standard room for a night. I felt that for the price of a room that internet could have been included and not cost extra.

Pros: The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable, included a table and chairs for eating, a microwave and large food prep counter, very well-lit, spacious bathroom. Very helpful, polite staff. Excellent food, great walking trails.

Cons: Website misleading re: meal options for Dec 24-25, only $75 buffet or sports bar menu available for all meals. Very dark rooms, very large food prep area, no sink and few odd assorted dishes. No mention on website that pool and spa both closed those days.

Pros: Room is lovely, bed very comfortable, most of the staff very efficient, polite and helpful. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Sitting room very comfortable and spacious, handy close off door if one person is still sleeping. Easy access to skytrain.

Cons: Room was very hot, had to use noisy a/c to keep cooler. Check-in staff did not understand English well and was very confused and confusing. Lovely bar next door but had sports screen on always.

Pros: Nice size rooms, quiet, excellent location, easy parking access in nearby buildings.

Cons: The hotel has been there a while, it's starting to show small signs of wear and tear which could be easily fixed. Specifically many worn damaged small areas on walls and elevator walls. A little bit of paint and stain would easily fix these minor issues.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly at the front door.

Cons: We were in a room directly above the loading zone/dumpster/alley in the back of the hotel. We were woken up by the sounds of trucks loading/unloading, etc at 11pm-midnight, then again at 4am on Sat morning. Nothing like being awake at those hrs w a baby

Pros: Simone who helped ch Heck us in was enthusiastic about her job and tried to help us every way she could. We arrived very early from a cruise and our room was not ready. She kept us informed about the room. She also checked with the restaurant that we made reservations at to verify the time and made an additional reservation for the following evening. She told us that she was a student in a hospitality and tourism program. I’m sure she will be successful and the Executive Hotel Le Soleilel is very lucky to have her as an employee
