Pros: Very beautiful and clean, great service especially breakfast
Excellent 9,1
Cons: Room was small but comfortable. Enough for what I needed, but would’ve been crowded if came with a friend. House was warm, breakfast was good when I finally tried it (skipped it first few days), and great opportunity to meet other travelers since we all had breakfast together.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Excellent location and helpful staff/ owners
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Both the house and the staff at West End Guest House were lovely, helpful and eager to help. The location was good, only a quick walk away from Downtown.
Cons: The shower only got *warm* and not hot at all. Might need to be looked into.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Exceptional breakfasts, warm cozy guest rooms and on-site parking in a lovely, convenient location!
Cons: Stronger, bolder coffee served with breakfast would be most welcome!
Good 7,9
Pros: Quaint
Cons: Needed a conventional bed - a mattress and a box spring. Very uncomfortable and hard.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: *historic home with dramatically modern amenities. Neighborhood was so green with trees and Fall colors was amazing. *amazing attention to details -- premium touches all over *fridge w/ cold drinks, coffee, tea, home baked goods, available at all hours *breakfast was full service + super delicious, gourmet. AND accommodated a gluten-free AND vegetarian diet *breakfast was fun to meet other guests. Was interesting to talk with other guests.
Cons: *breakfast was at 8:30 prompt and cook will leave if you don't arrive between 8:30-8:50. Would have liked a little flexibility in breakfast timing - eg. breakfast is open at 8:30 and closes at 9:30, this would give us more flex in the morning. We're on vacation after all :)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was beautiful, unique, so clean, and they cook the most amazing breakfast each morning and bake amazing goods in the evening. They go the extra mile.
Cons: I loved all of it.

Pros: Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Good location within walking distance to most things downtown. Bed was comfortable and in room kitchen very well equipped.
Cons: The room service food we ordered was very poor quality. I was no better than a frozen microwave meal. Not worth the money - go out. There are plenty of great restaurants around
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The reception, service, room, dining and location. I had a courtyard room which was lovely and quiet. The hotel is is downtown, but on a quiet street - walkable to shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff was wonderful
Good 7,0
Pros: Beautiful quiet room, high quality bed.
Cons: Lots of little problems add up - broken phone in bedroom, SD TV instead of HD, AC unit gave us all mild asthma. Staff had no peptol-bismol on hand late night and didn't know what it was. I'd had a surgery and was vomiting in the night and needed some.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Rooms/suites were bigger than expected - i could live here! Everything was thought of. Loved the cosy touches like fireplace and the option to have some groceries provided from a list. Love the L'Occitane products too.
Cons: Didn't appreciate that the previous guest had set the alarm clock to 4:30am, and then 5:00am, and it had not been turned off so I had to figure it out in the dark with the alarm going twice while I tried to sleep. Towels are a little on small side for females (we don't all only have a lower half to cover, you know!) but that happens in 9/10 hotels. Still tedious though!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Bed was super comfy and great bathtub to lounge in!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Very pleasant friendly helpful staff. Good location. Rooms are comfortable. We were upgraded into a suite. Wonderful restaurant, Medina, which has the best waffles in the city located on the property.
Cons: Only negative was the hotel sign is very low key and can be easily missed.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, spacious bathroom and loved its amenities, pretty good hot breakfast included, good location and very friendly staffs. I will definitely stay here again whenever I come back to Vancouver.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Room was very nice and staff was very helpful. Having the pool open in December was a pleasant surprise! Exercise room was nice. Amenities in room, including robes and refrigerator were another bonus.
Cons: Breakfast was not good- food was low quality and not hot. And expensive
Excellent 9,0
Pros: spacious room, soft and crisp sheets, quiet, customer service, beautiful lounge (we arrived very late and left early...coudnt take advantage of it)
Cons: valet parking $40
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The staff, not so much the front desk staff, but the workers were amazing.
Cons: Confirmed Early check in did not happen as promised, standard check in is 4 pm a bit late
Good 7,9
Pros: Beautiful upscale hotel in perfect location
Cons: The room in the suite was drafty and seriously cold compared to the living room space. There is one tiny vent in the bedroom. The difference in temperature was 10 degrees. Had to crank the heat up to 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the living room where the thermostat is to get the temperature in the bedroom to 65.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was so helpful. Everyone there went out of their way. Great place

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly attentive staff. Staying there felt like an experience. A special hotel.
Cons: Not the greatest view from the back side of the hotel where our windows were.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Comfortable room and quiet floor. Nice to come back to a lovely room after a day of exploring Vancouver.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Enjoyed our suite with soaking tub, excellent food and staff . The location was also good , a reasonable walk to the exclusive shops in the waterfront area.
Cons: 1-Valet parking turned out to be a bad experience. We gave the keys to the valet for parking Sunday PM and when they went to retrieve it the following Tuesday AM from their parking facility, someone had shattered the driver side door window in an attempt to get Break in, despite “security cameras and limited access “. Also a 2nd vehicle experienced the same issue 2 spaces over from ours, don’t know if it was a hotel guest or not and don’t know if the area is public or not. The hotel does not take responsibility for vandalism, The management did go out of their way and was gracious in assisting with the inconvenience, That said, I had to pay for the repair out of my own pocket. Be warned that this could have happened at any of the 5 star hotels in the area with a similar valet setups and outcomes . ( according to local police, vehicle breakins are not uncommon for cars with “out of province plates”). Hotels don’t take responsibility for your vehicle unless it is a direct result of the valets negligence . Seems to me, if we must pay for valet, they should be responsible/obligated to keep our cars safe while it is in their care. 2- a minor issue was the Wi-Fi connection that was not very good in our room, 2-3 bars out of 4.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It’s like a home away from home.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: The noise of garbage trucks activity in the early hours of morning, which frankly comes with staying in downtown and has nothing to do with the Hotel itself.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Staff was excellent.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. I felt as though I was coming home. Room was beautifully appointed with everything I needed. A complementary box of chocolates was a nice surprise.
Cons: Nothing at all
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Luxury and class without pretense, the Wedgewood made me feel welcome even while wearing jeans and chasing my rambunctious kids through the lobby.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished.
Cons: Not Applicable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly professional staff Delightful breakfast in the beautiful Bacchus lounge Spacious room with quality linens and L'Occitaine products Great value Excellent location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Amazing staff, clean, beautiful room with deck. And the most comfortable beds and bedding.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location is excellent. The service was first class. The restaurant 'Bacchus' was also excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was small, which we liked, and the quality of the room fittings and furnishing was excellent
Cons: The toilet was noisy when flushed and the bed making was not great - the bottom sheet always worked it's way loose every morning
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was lovely - we had a premium corner room which was bright and very comfortable. We ate in Tableau, the restaurant, one night and it was delicious - excellent cocktails, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great Happy Hour offers. The staff throughout the hotel couldn't have been more helpful - all very naturally friendly without being overbearing. The hotel is in a central location close to Stanley Park, city centre shopping and sea planes to Vancouver Island. The gym was also great for a quick work out.
Cons: This hoteI is expensive for what you get. I didn't spot an iron in my room, but there was a steamer. On the night we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a plumbing fault and that as a result no room service would be available - this was disappointing as it was all that we wanted that evening having travelled all day. We managed to sort an Uber Eats, which arrived completely cold, but it would have been useful to have prior warning of this from the hotel.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Room was beautiful
Cons: Lobby area could be renovated.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It a 3 star?? This hotel is really nice and it has free WiFi great for business trips. Room was really clean and staff was very professional.
Cons: I think price may deter you but if you want to impress a date or splurge a little do it here
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The service was phenomenal.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location close to office party.
Cons: Made reservations too late, so all comparable hotels in area were appreciably over priced, this one included.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great hotel!
Cons: My only issue is with the WiFi, which was spotty at best and sometimes non-existent. In 2019, this is not acceptable, and especially annoying given that I was travelling for work and needed internet access.
Good 6,8
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Felt the staff was a little stuffy; thought the room was OK, wasn't what I expected (for the price). No ice machine?! Had to call for room service to have that brought up every day...? Maybe I'm not used to boutique hotels.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Friendly staff. 4.5 stars - Really nice rooms that are getting near time for updating. I will happily stay there again.
Cons: The guest rooms are starting to show minor signs of wear: HVAC - Thermostat no longer working properly; either high fan (noisy as heck) or no fan at all. Bed - getting very lumpy and needs to be flipped or turned. But overall very nice.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was amazing, attentive, polite. The room, while on the smaller side, was beautiful; the bathroom spacious and modern.
Cons: The bed was a little slopey but this hotel is gorgeous.

Pros: Clean, modern room. Excellent lighting system (easily modulated brightness)
Cons: Lobby is absolutely dead. Fine for business, but not if one likes to feel one is in a lively, happening city.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Dining was excellent, were there for a week and ate in the restaurant in the evening 3 times as it was so goid. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Spotlessly clean.

Pros: The spa.
Cons: The room was overpriced for the quality.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly professional staff
Cons: Yes I am disappointed with the staff at the Spa . I tried to make an appointment and had questions. Staff was not helpful and accommodating. The time requested was not available and was told that she will call back to update but did not. Unfriendly .
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location for city centre shopping trip. Staff were extremely helpful, and we were able to use the spa facilities after checkout to freshen up for our flights home.
Cons: We had to keep our suite curtains closed most of the time due to being overlooked by offices. Expected in a city location such as this, however made the suite feel smaller.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff was incredible, as was the size of the room.
Cons: The AC was woefully bad; the lowest setting was 19.5c (which we chose), but the room never went below 22.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. Room was very comfortable, quiet and luxurious, staff were so friendly and professional and food was amazing.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Check-in was a breeze; rooms were large, airy and clean. It was a great view from our corner suite, and having the ability to open the windows and get a breeze in the morning was lovely. We'll definitely be staying here next year!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Fully equipped kitchen was a rare find for a hotel. Hotel was very secure, including parking. Staff, who worked nights was very friendly and helpful. Gas fireplace to make the place more homey. Good restaurants, shopping and grocery right outside our do
Cons: We got a studio plus den. The pictures on the website didn'te really show how tiny the den was. Just room enough to cram in a twin bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel. Plenty of natural light in the bedrooms but none in the main area.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Stayed before-- it's what I want. In the city and can cook for myself.
Cons: Nothing negative.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very comfortable set up in the West End. Cabs were easy to find and fast (use the Vancouver Yellow Cabs app; there are no Ubers of Lyfts in Vancouver). We were able to walk to the harbor and to Stanley Park. We came in via Amtrak late and staff waited for us before closing. When my son forgot his backpack, they arranged to have it mailed back to us.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Extremely well located, grocery, restaurants near by, excellent location

Pros: Great location, helpful staff, good value. Cozy and charming property and a nice contrast to the concrete and steel aesthetic of modern Vancouver. Quiet residential neighborhood only walking minutes from central Vancouver.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing! The location was wonderful.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great b&b in quiet neighborhood but still close to shopping & restaurants on Robson St. Room was clean & staff were friendly. tasty breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous house and phenomenal staff. Beautiful breakfast as well. We will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Absolutely nothing, it was perfect
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, location was excellent, but everything pales in comparison to Dennis. One of the kindest souls you'll meet. He never let me walk in the rain without an umbrella (even when I was checking out). He left fresh coffee in my room when I was sick. The common area of the house was always peaceful, with some quiet Christmas music playing in the background.
Cons: The after-hours check-in process assumed the ability to make a phone call. I'm from out of the country and didn't have cell service, so that was a bit stressful. I also really wish there was some sort of desk in the room; it was difficult to get any work done without one. I suspect larger rooms include one.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The quaintness, cleanliness and detail of decorating. The breakfast was very fresh. The neighborhood so peaceful!
Cons: Bathroom could have a few shelves for toiletry bag and to hold shampoo and soap for tub. Pillow was quite hard
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staying at The Barclay House was terrific! The location cannot be any better and the breakfast every morning was amazing!! We would definitely stay again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and served at the table. The house was well decorated since Halloween was coming.

Pros: Service. Outstanding
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!
Cons: Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was very convenient.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. Perfect location, beautiful and very comfortable design of the room, friendly and helpful staff. The best breakfest I have ever ate. I recommend booking a room with access to a business Lounge - this is the best option.
Cons: Nothing .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We really enjoyed the gold room. Everyone there was very friendly, called us by name and made us feel very welcome.
Cons: The only thing we were disappointed in was that we did not get our coffee delivered to our door prior to checking out. It was promptly delivered the other days, so we were surprised when we did not get it on Friday.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Service, food, bar, comfort, views of the bay
Cons: Pool too small and no life, concierge only so so
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent overall, one of if not the best in Vancouver.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location to Stanley Park, Staff, lounge with live music, good gym, proximity to everything
Cons: Couldn't extend stay for even 1 hour, everything is pricy
Excellent 9,0
Cons: Staff was incredible Easy access to everything
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: A balcony would be nice

Pros: Loved that you had the umbrellas. Great that valet service was available for car. Great that we could call valet to get car ahead through the Alexa type system. Parking was a bit expensive as I recall. always amazes me that inexpensive hotels give free parking and the more expensive hotels have a parking fee.

Pros: The room was nice. The hotel staff were really great! I was particularly impressed with the one staff member that was questioning our bags being left unattended. I am writing a book on travel safety and preparedness. So, that was great! This will likely make it into the book.
Cons: The biggest drawback was the chlorine odor in the room, thankfully we had access to the patio and were able to mix in fresh air with the chlorine. Otherwise, I would not have been able to stay in the room. I also thought the television located under the stairs was awkward and too small for the room. Whereas, the television in the loft was too big for the space.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was so helpful especially the concierge!! The room was perfect and really liked the hard wood floors in the room. The bathroom was perfect with a huge walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were very soft.
Good 7,4
Pros: Location
Cons: Frustrated with Smart TV that never worked even with tablet replaced. Called for help but problem wasn't fixed, wanted to movie at end of day and was unable too.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The hotel is really nice and clean, the amenities were really good. Every night we had some chocolates and there was an oil infuser for aromatherapy!
Good 6,0
Pros: Concierge Trevor was a great man and helped us with our adventures!
Cons: No market No restaurant Waited at arrival 10am until 3:45pm and was promised a great room-then finally gave a room at the end of a hallway with view of a bldg and back alley .....but fixed it after getting really upset at them.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the stylishness and the chocolates
Cons: wished there was a tub in our room

Pros: location was great. Nice clean rooms.
Cons: Disappointed no room service after 11pm. No vending machines on site. No stocked mini frdge. Beds very uncomfortable. Construction noise from next door annoying. Expected more from 4 star hotel
Excellent 10,0

Pros: Staff and location
Cons: No. Everything was great.
Excellent 9,6
Cons: Only coffee machine in room. Maybe add a kettle to make tea as well.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly staff and very nice room. Across the street from BC Place and Rogers Arena. Close enough to walk to Stanley Park and Canada Place.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Location was good and parking was easy to find. The price was right and the checkout at noon was wonderful!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The hardwood floors. Made the noise travel loudly.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were so courteous and kind; they greeted us with smiles and respect! The accommodations were convenient, clean and very accessible for my client, who is mentally and physically handicapped. The ramps and elevators made transportation so convenient! The staff were so helpful! Thank you so much for a great experience!!
Cons: I can't really think of anything... Maybe the beds? My client had a little difficulty getting up on the bed because it was too high for him. It was ok because it gave him a good workout, but others who are not as capable may have difficulties that can not be helped.
Poor 1,0
Cons: Service was terrible and rude

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Free upgrade
Good 7,5
Pros: Location is great, right next to the station and onto all the tourist-traps one can dream of. Staff friendly and wfficient
Cons: Noisy. Room does not isolate very well to the passage - any movement is heard inside the room, also a lot of light pollution into the room. Showing signs of getting tired. Bath is very impractical. Very expensive for what you get.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location, friendly staff (check in and room service), view
Cons: Outdated, poor breakfast service at the restaurant, uncomfortable bed, noisy in the halls and between rooms (writing this at 4 am), horrible tv (on demand moves are $25! even for old films) and in room perks non existent ($5 for a can of pop from fridge).
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Wold have appreciated an arm chair not just a desk chair in a room meant to be shared
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room very cozy
Cons: Restaurant not open 24/7
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Room service is good.
Cons: Bathroom in 1204 requires some attention. Child depth bath is not really relevant in this room. Would be better as a step in shower stall. White tiles in bath area require cleaning/re- grouting . Shower head wall cap not siliconed to the wall. There is no exhaust fan. Cleaners must have had to clean the damp ceiling with the floor mop as was dark curly hairs on the ceiling. Do the Doorman really need to blow those shrill taxi whistles at 4am. It woke me up on the 12th floor. Hotel over the road is guilty of the same.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The pool was great as was the Jacuzzi. the hotel was beautiful as was the room & the view.
Cons: The men’s wash room in the health club needs updating, the showers were a bit sad and the steam room was not nearly hot enough.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff
Okay 4,0
Pros: Nice art on the walls of Lobby, hallways and room. Nice Hot Tub available, and in-room Kimonos to wear to it. Nice comfortable beds for sleeping. Located Downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. Friendly and helpful Staff.
Cons: No breakfast offered, Sister and her Husband had a Continental Breakfast included in their rate each morning, that if we had wanted, would cost us $57.00 each for myself and my Husband , for each morning. Nope, we went to the underground Mall to the Food Court that was there ! No free WiFi in our room, which is a first for us to encounter ! No in-room slippers to wear to the hot tub. No in-room fridge to cool our wine that we brought, only their own stocked fridge full of items to purchase at high cost. In-room coffee machine inside a bottom slide out drawer, hard to access and hard to see when pouring the measure of water into machine. Daylight showing all around the frame of hall door- so much for not hearing all travellers walking the hallways. Only logical place to park was in their garage with Valet service- $50.00 + each day, plus gratuities. Any other option of parking was not easy or close. Only one chair in room, at office desk, so this room was not used to entertain Family in. I expected Concierge Desk Service to be able to tell us where to find a nearby area that had a grass area for our female dog to pee on. We found one ourselves on the second day. No exhaust fan available in Bathroom.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Location to convention centre
Cons: Clean and warm
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel staff were all amazing! I'd like to call out Tacio Silva Olveira specifically for going above and beyond for my twins' bday. He arranged for a room upgrade and also for some birthday toys.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The concierge service was fantastic; they arranged a hire car for us without any hassle and had it delivered to the hotel. We were able to drop this off on our return from a 4 day stay in Whistler. It made the trip so easy. The hotel offer a great breakfast, and the waterfront location was perfect for us.

Pros: The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable, included a table and chairs for eating, a microwave and large food prep counter, very well-lit, spacious bathroom. Very helpful, polite staff. Excellent food, great walking trails.
Cons: Website misleading re: meal options for Dec 24-25, only $75 buffet or sports bar menu available for all meals. Very dark rooms, very large food prep area, no sink and few odd assorted dishes. No mention on website that pool and spa both closed those days.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I liked mainly the atmosphere and the location. Also, the staff were very friendly and with big smiles all the time, which is hard to see these days.
Cons: It extremely hard on Friday to find a parking lot near the hotel to drop off my luggage, In addition, I did not like to pay for the parking.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Room is lovely, bed very comfortable, most of the staff very efficient, polite and helpful. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Sitting room very comfortable and spacious, handy close off door if one person is still sleeping. Easy access to skytrain.
Cons: Room was very hot, had to use noisy a/c to keep cooler. Check-in staff did not understand English well and was very confused and confusing. Lovely bar next door but had sports screen on always.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Nice comfortable hotel. Classic interior. Really down town center. Public parking across the hotel. Friendly people at reception. I lot of things on walking distance. (Toerist and shopping) My price was really good, maybe because genius in combination with late reservation(3 hours before) Montreal down town beautiful city for a visit.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very comfortable and centrally located.
Cons: Nothing
Good 6,0
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly at the front door.
Cons: We were in a room directly above the loading zone/dumpster/alley in the back of the hotel. We were woken up by the sounds of trucks loading/unloading, etc at 11pm-midnight, then again at 4am on Sat morning. Nothing like being awake at those hrs w a baby
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The vintage nature of the hotel
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with information about local tourist attractions. Free use of bicycles from the hotel was very convenient and enjoyable. Lobby area was very comfortable and functional.
Cons: A hotel bar to accompany the restaurant would have been a nice addition.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Simone who helped ch Heck us in was enthusiastic about her job and tried to help us every way she could. We arrived very early from a cruise and our room was not ready. She kept us informed about the room. She also checked with the restaurant that we made reservations at to verify the time and made an additional reservation for the following evening. She told us that she was a student in a hospitality and tourism program. I’m sure she will be successful and the Executive Hotel Le Soleilel is very lucky to have her as an employee
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Good location
Cons: I only could pay using a credit card. Mine is prepaid. Because of that i got a invalid credit card message from booking.com. Did.t have this issue with other hotels. Because of that I probebly will not book there again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything - staff, location, comfort and cleanness of the rooms, the whole atmosphere of the hotel is amazing!

Pros: Very comfortable and the staff were extremely accomodating.
Cons: No spa facility onsite.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, good location, fantastic and friendly staff. Everything was quality.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were wonderful and the location was perfect for our needs.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The service was excellent! The room decoration is decent and clean. The Granville train station and shopping mall are right next to the hotel.
Cons: Parking is $40 with hotel, but you can park at nearby st like Howe or Horney for $12-18/day. Street noise might be bothering but we don‘t have problem sleeping.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Such a quaint little hotel with amazing, attentive staff. The location was prime for us, walking distance to everything and the complimentary breakfast was a really nice added feature. The rooms have comfy beds and bathrooms with heated floors. The room is quite small, but the hotel is over 100 years old so back in the day I guess that was a normal size. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Professional and capable staff all around. Clean facilities have a noticable "European" feel. Breakfast is excellent.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Close to everything. We walked all the way to Grandville Island and back. Plenty of good restaurants along the way and right next door to the Keg Steakhouse. Breakfast included was excellent! The staff was courteous and helpful.
Cons: Tiny Elevator, parking was 30 CAD per day, you need to unload quickly in front because you are blocking a lane.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Jas (sp?) at the front desk was amazing.. she helped me print off some materials I needed for meetings in short order, with a smile. Thanks!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel has the perfect location within the city, the staff are very attentive, the room was very clean and nice, and overall we had a great experience.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent choice, great location, great service, breakfast, everything was really good, we were impressed. The room is a bit small but nice and has everything you need. Best value for money.
Excellent 8,8
Cons: Elevator was soooooooo slow
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Friendly staff and central to town with money for value pricing
Cons: 1. No ability to pull up outside to offload - almost caused an accident when I did. 2. Rooms somewhat small 3. You need to know my requirements as a diabetic I need a fridge and soft pillows 4. Breakfast is rudimentary at best and a disappointment of note rather provide a breakfast buffet

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Newly renovated, good location and friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom too bright with no night light.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great staff, great food options, great amenities. In short, I like everything!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Super comfy and spacious rooms, in an excellent and central location! Short walking distance to Gastown, Granville, Convention Centre, China Town, Stadiums, etc.
Good 6,2
Pros: The corner room view
Cons: Breakfast, toiletries, quality of towels, no slippers or robe.. overall not a luxury hotel or even 4 star.. more like a 3.5
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was clean and modern, and the staff were lovey and helpful
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Rooms well laid out, and reasonably quiet given the downtown location. The current renovations should not put you off this property, the temp restaurant may be a little spartan but there are plenty of dining choices close by.
Cons: I'd have to get really picky to find fault, if you need pristine surroundings then the current reno may be a problem for you but honestly I was impressed with how well they have managed to preserve the guest experience.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent, professional staff and amazing room.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff - kind and nice
Cons: A corner near the coffee station was sticky
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice modern decorated room..very clean..amazing king size bed
Cons: The 50 deposit that was taken off my visa debit was not returned into my account like the front desk staff said it would be..I asked that she do it while I was standing there and she assured me that it would be reapplied to my account..
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Attentive smiling staff, good location, easy to park right next to the hotel
Cons: In the family room the pull out bed was a bit on the lumpy side. Strangely the light for the toilet was on the outside of the toilet meaning you have to turn it on before going inside. When trying to minimize light in the early hours of the morning so as to not wake up kids it’s annoying to have to flood the corridor with light so as to go into the bathroom risking waking them up
Good 7,5
Pros: Everything was so simple on the app! Easy to follow! The staffs energy was amazing! Last but not least the bed was so comfy I almost didn’t leave!
Okay 4,8
Cons: Sofa bed was the worst I have ever slept on. Neighborhood not good either
