Pros: This hotel is located in the tallest building in Tokyo and it offers incredible views of the city! The rooms are breathtaking and I have never experienced such incredible, all encompassing service. The concierge offered us the best sightseeing advice and we had one of the most memorable dinners in their Japanese Michelin Starred Restaurant. Oh and there's a fantastic 24hr Grocery Store located in the super posh MidTown Shopping Center adjacent to the hotel. I have to also say that compared to other Ritz-Carlton Hotels I have stayed at around the world... this is by far the best of their Hotels properties!

Cons: i had booked a non-smoking suite. the room had clearly been smoked in - an air purifier was by the bed when i got to the room. not cool at all. the fact that there are still smoking rooms that can be 'changed' into non-smoking? plus, had an issue with business card request. hotel itself is beautiful but dealing with unexpected issues not very good-especially for the price.

Pros: When staying in Tokyo, the Celestine Hotel is always my first choice. I like its comfort, its elegance, the professionalism of the staff; the rooms are comfortable and nicely conceived. The cleanliness is irreproachable. The hotel is 30 min away from Haneda Airport and 4 different transport lines are in the vicinity. In addition, the hotel offers a very efficient laundry service, tea salon, lounge, restaurant, spa and the area is really enjoyable.

Cons: As a business hotel not having a work desk in the room is simply unacceptable. Before renovation they had now all rooms hav an uncomfortable sofa no-one needs but no work desk. Without the perfect location I would go somewhere else now because of this.

Pros: It is a luxury hotel with everything you need. One of the best beds we had slept in, they provided pyjamas for my son every night. The breakfast was not included in our stay and was quite expensive for what was available. There is a shuttle bus from Narita airport to the hotel. We found it was the best option with a very tired 4-year-old. You are not near any JR lines, if you have a JR pass you will need to take a train to the closest JR station which is Ebisu via the Hibiya Line and then change to the JR line. Roppongi Hills is a very quiet area with a good nightlife if you are into clubs. there is the Mori Museum attached to the hotel and other shopping/entertainment areas nearby.

The staff are really friendly and helpful (this is Japan!). The gym, pool and spa area are great. I have extremely fond memories of the hotel as a whole.
Cons: I don't want to go into a lot of detail, but there's an issue with a damp smell extending through to the 10th floor (as far as I can tell). As such my bedroom had that smell of dampness. Considering I was paying around £450 per night I'm disappointed about this. That said they offered me another room, but it was on a much higher floor which I do not like. Consequently I needed to put up with this smell (although you do get used to it after a while). This is why it's obviously not good value (for me), as this is a 5 star hotel with high ish prices.

Pros: It is a luxury hotel with everything you need. One of the best beds we had slept in, they provided pyjamas for my son every night. The breakfast was not included in our stay and was quite expensive for what was available. There is a shuttle bus from Narita airport to the hotel. We found it was the best option with a very tired 4-year-old. You are not near any JR lines, if you have a JR pass you will need to take a train to the closest JR station which is Ebisu via the Hibiya Line and then change to the JR line. Roppongi Hills is a very quiet area with a good nightlife if you are into clubs. there is the Mori Museum attached to the hotel and other shopping/entertainment areas nearby.

The location was outstanding it was just 4 stops via the Ginza line to Shibuya, but far enough away so that it was a peaceful place to stay. Just a short walk to the station was a super bonus. We loved it so much that on our return to Tokyo, just a few days laters (short visit to Nagoya and Kyoto) My son demanded we stay here again..so this was home for the last two days of our trip. The staff even remembered my son. Needless to say for the value, location and security, this is hard to beat. Perfect for our trip.

Cons: We paid for a room with access to the executive lounge. As lounges go it was pretty poor - very busy at times (eg you will be lucky to get a table) and not much choice of food - even for breakfast. Also, not a big deal but my wife used the room phone a few times to call locally (thinking it would be free) however in actuality the hotel charges extortionate rates eg almost JPY 3,000 for a 14 minute call. In this day and age really!?

Cons: Like most local hotels in Japan, the rooms are very cramped. If you're looking for a tad more space, you have to go for rooms with 2 single beds, which cost just a little more. The rooms are so small that I feel house-keeping probably have trouble cleaning thoroughly too, i.e. I found old garbage under our bed. Some bathroom amenities were not replaced on a daily basis. The TV programs were also very limited; there were no international channels or news.

The hotel is excellent, very roomy and update. It offers all what a ordinary traveler needs and beyond. Its location is great right in the middle of several subway stations, only Meguro station and takaniwa station are within walking distance. But, scheduled hotel buses taking hotel guests to Meguro and Shinagawa station is an excellent way to help hotel guests move around.
Do your homework and find out what time the airport limousine bus can take you from airports to Miyako Hotel before you buy airline tickets. Because the bus schedule is very odd. I came to Miyako from Tokyo Haneda Airport, the airport limousine bus only runs twice in the morning and once in the late evening (Good for red eyed flight guests). If you come to the hotel any time between those schedules, you need to find out what is the nearest hotel or subway stations to Miyako the airport bus can take you to, then take taxi from there to Miyako.

Cons: Restaurants were extremely expensive but I completely understand as it is in an area that is very upscale. The bed was too low to the ground....the mattress was too firm...the pillows too soft. My back hurt every night. The lobby had very few chairs to sit down during peak times. Staff warm and friendly...but ambience was a bit cold.

Cons: We stayed on reward points as ambassadors. We were treated appallingly. The room was average for the type of hotel we were staying in. The staff were quite standoffish, considering we had just come from Intercontinental Delete repeated word Bay where the service was outstanding and we could not fault a single thing it was a huge disappointment to be treated like this. When we went for dinner in the restaurant we were not even offered a drinks or wine list the whole meal and they forgot my meal altogether. When they cleaned the room they left dirty dishes behind. I never complain about anywhere that I stay but it was enough to taint my holiday. When we checked out they did not even ask us how the stay was. We are Platinum members.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, of which we tried several and had some delicious meals.
Staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
Akasaka Mitsuke subway station is about 3 blocks away, just a couple minutes walk. From that station it's a short ride to get to the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine and tons of other must see tourist locations in Tokyo.
Beds were comfy and the room was nice, but remember rooms in Tokyo are on average going to be a bit smaller than you might expect from other places. My friend and I are big guys, both around 6' 1" and we were plenty comfy in the room. We were there mostly to sleep and shower, the fun was to be had out exploring Tokyo.
There's laundry and vending machines on the third floor which was handy.
Overall we were impressed with the Centurion Hotel Grand for the price and the location. If in Tokyo again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Pros: The location was amazing. Right it was at a really good train station that was the hub of a lot of train stations. If you don't have young kids, there were a lot of bars, karaoke clubs, etc around the area and a lot of eateries. The staff were really really good.

Cons: There was mold on the roof near our air con. The room is incredibly tiny, how ever price, location wise it is fair. Don't go on the train between 7:30 - 9:00 am, it's insanely busy.

Cons: Room size (double room with extra sofa bed) was on the small side. Difficult to open suitcase without folding up the sofa bed. A/C was not user friendly. The rooms were very humid and we did not realize the DRY function on the A/C was there. Also shower can heat up the room quickly. Useful luggage storage.

Pros: This is a really convenient location for travelers. It's directly across the street from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, lots of Japanese and non-Japanese food options and some historic sites. If you can managed to get a room on the back side of the hotel, I would recommend it. My room was so quiet. It was perfect. The hotel staff were very nice. They were able to direct me to where I needed to go when I had to buy a few things for my trip.
Getting there from Narita airport was easy. I just bought a ticket on the appropriate limousine bus for 3100 yen. Yes, that's slightly more expensive than the Keisei Skyliner, but it drops you off at the front door of this hotel. It's worth the extra 600 yen to not have to carry my luggage through the train stations from where the Keisei Line drops you off. And it's way cheaper than a cab.

Cons: Nobody helped me to find the reception, a lot of noises also even the staff said to me the room are sound proof this was not the truth. You can hear clearly the noises from lateral, above and below. People came and leaving in the night, made a lot of noises, nobody cares, even I told the staff they don't care. Instead to silence me they sent me beers in the room which I refused. Cleaning is not as expected, toilet and room should be clean consistently. Even I booked 3 nights I stayed only one night, I found another hotel in Tokyo.

Cons: Breakfast downstairs is quite pricey (about 2800 yen or so). Of course, it's not like you have to eat at the hotel. It's literally 4 doors down from a Tully's coffeeshop where you can have a decent breakfast and coffee for less than 700 yen.
