Pros: Everything was fine, would stay there again. I liked the very friendly and helpful staff, lounge area, breakfast option, location close to the train station. The hostel offers events, like local pub tours or meet ups, which is a good way to meet locals and other travellers and learn about Japanese culture.

The hostel offers events, like local pub tours or meet ups, which is a good way to meet locals and other travellers and learn about Japanese culture.
Cons: The only thing that I can think of would be more shelves, hooks and hangers in the rooms, because they are rather small and this would help to cope with limited space.

Pros: Laundry & dryer is provided, detergent too. I think it should be 100 yen for wash and 100 yen for 30 minutes dry. Did not get to dry their breakfast and coffee, but happy that there is the option to get them if I wanted. Lift available! 2 convenient stores nearby. So near, I can wear slippers at 6 deg, walk there to get a bowl of noodles and walked back. The bed was really comfortable. space to keep your things are your bed is also very adequate. I love that there's 1 switch at the head of the bed and at the tail. So I can switch on the lights before entering my capsule and off right before I leave. There is a separate space for lockers and the locker is big (not big enough for a piece of luggage but I can put my clothing bag in there and sit by the locker as I decided what I need). Toiletries and facial products are provided. I love their powder room. The shower for females is on a different level. It may be a little inconvenient, but at least you won't hear the sound of hairdryer if anyone showers late at night.

Pros: This property is situated 3 -5 minutes away from the Higash-Nihombashi / Bakurocho metro station by walking. Direct trains to/from Shinjuku / Haneda Airport / Narita Airport are available which makes the overall trip less hassle. A middle size supermarket is in 5 mins walk. Two 24/7 convenience stores are just right at the corner. The neighbor was really quiet after rush hours which guarantees good sleeping quality. Living-wise here is indeed a superb option within the city. Breakfast was incredible! Although everyday was the same, they offered various foods and made it like a buffet. Drink refill is available should you want more than one cup. The space in the property is nicely organized. It offers enough shower rooms and bathrooms into each floors. The public space is well equipped for preparing instant food. Regarding tourist info, a lot can be found near the front desk. We were in the family room with 2 top down bunk beds and a private toilet (no shower). The room is not big and can be overwhelmed given that members all bring 25 inches or bigger suitcases.

Pros: The breakfast for me was good, I particularly liked the potato salad. It was very delicious. The room is clean, the shower is also clean, the toilet is very clean, completed with bidet. You can rent towels for a price here. The staff is also very nice and helpful, and they speak perfect English so communication was not really a problem for me here. And the guest were all so polite and well-behaved. Not very far from station with elevator on the exit.

Cons: There isn't much to dislike about the place. its pretty value for money, its near the airport. Its near Tsukiji which is great since you have to be up early to avoid the crowd. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's there for a long stay

Cons: One remark for this property was the elevator. There was only one elevator sending people up and down. Sometimes it could take 5 minutes to even get down from 2nd floor to the ground. Preferably the existing stair can be opened during rush hour as to offer a more efficient vertical transportation. The other remark was about the public space. It’s pack during rush hours provided that the space / table available is much less than people they can accommodate. A valid suggestion for breakfast would be to plan it earlier than usual to avoid crowd.

Pros: The breakfast was absolutely wonderful especially being an all you can eat buffet. Kind staff and a very clean place with lovely bathrooms etc.
Cons: The little bed cubby’s got way too hot and didn’t appear to have good ventilation. Wouldn’t sleep with covers on even though it was the middle of winter when we stayed.

Pros: The staff and facilities are nice
Cons: The room was crowded and the guest were loud and rowdy, one of them even started vaping in the room, I had an unpleasant night
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds are quite spacious and comfortable with s creen that gives you privacy. The bathrooms and showers are quite clean. Plus there is also a cafe at the bottom floor.
Cons: The showers are on a different floor from the beds and the only way to get up and down the building is via the elevator, which can be a little slow. Though it isnt bad. The common room is also a bit small

Cons: The room was too hot. It was autumn and maybe they set the heater on too high, but it was bordering on uncomfortable for me. Also, the female shower room is located on the 3rd floor so it was really a hassle for me to go back and forth from 5th to 3rd floor just to take a shower.

Cons: Make a space for outside shoes

Cons: The personnal doesnt talk english or very poorly If you are above 1m80, the blanket will be too short and the personnal doesn't want to give a second one (foot will remain outside) Poor internet No spot to give a call, you stay on the common area but you are disturbing people. Pros: Location, location, location! Very close to Uguisudani South Exit (JR Yamanote line)(3 mins walk), very easy access to basically everywhere. The neighborhood itself is very nice: Aeon minimart 30m from the hostel (opens til 12 a.m), 24hr restaurants with cheap pricing and decent meals right across the street (640Y for a rice set with karaage and soup? yes! And it's the most delicious karaage I've had too). There's a Lawson and a Family Mart on the way from the station back to the hotel too. Semi-Double room with bathroom was a comfortable size with enough room to open 3 pieces of luggage :) Location: 10/10. If I ever book again, it's the location.

Cons: Please note that I'm giving these opinions based on the 8.9 score they boast. The price was good for the location and Tokyo standards. 1. The Staff: - The Room Cleaning ladies were the best, so it's not them. - It's the reception. His English was fluent, but I think he was...high? Everytime we asked something, he lifted his head, and stared at us. Same for the other guests too. Like he didnt see us there, with his eyes all hazy..? We always had to ask a few times to get our answers, and that is IF we could get the right answer lol. NO SMILES. 2. The Facilities: - Old and rundown. Kitchen was located weirdly. All the facilities looked like a decade old for Tokyo standards. - And they barely functioned: aircon auto shuts off every now and then (needs hard reset, unplug then plug again), washing machine uses old technology and overheats (our clothes were almost boiling after using drying function), and there were only 2 frigging machines for the whole building full of guests, and they only allowed usage from 7am - 11pm (with each wash taking ~1 .5hr, that's only 20 batches, assuming ppl stay at home to wash their clothes during the day!), water heater is unstable: sometimes the water was so hot, others very cold. Very annoying during cold season. - Very crappy, unstable wifi. - There's no slippers dedicated for bathrooms and toilets. - No elevators. We got our room on the 2nd floor upon request tho. - Toilet with no wash. Why?... 3. Cleanliness: - Room cleaning was very good, spotless sheets and everything. - But, ugh, the moldy bathtub and sink... I couldnt take a nice dip because once I lay down in the bath, all I saw was the mold underneath the sink... - Shared toilets werent clean that frequently. - And no one really cleaned the common kitchen? It was oily, smelly and disorganized. And very, very loud guests. They did a good job soundproofing the walls (very good job indeed), but not the door.

Cons:
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The kitchen has lots of stuff.
Cons: Some nights and mornings it was really loud. People speaking loudly or packing and making noise with their plastic bags. The hostel has signs but I think they should extra mention to be silent also at the check in. The kitchen was nice, but some people are not able to wash their dishes appropriately.
7,0 Good
Pros: Pretty close to a JR train station and some local shops. The beds are quite good and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The reception is welcoming and has two PCs.
Cons: The showers have a serious problem, they won't mix hot and cold water properly, so they keep alternating between a super hot water and a cold water, which is very annoying. Also the eiderdown was too warm, I woke up sweating every day.

Pros: * The big plus is CLEANLINESS! I have heard that Japanese people take care a lot about hygiene, but I didn't except such a high level of cleanliness everywhere. Toilets and showers were all the time very, very clean and we had a room with a shared bathroom (shower and toilets were separated). There was a daily cleaning room service too. * We got kimono alike towels that we really like! :) * The neighborhood is quiet, so there will be no noise to wake you up. * Markets and restaurants are within walking distance, as well as Imperial Palace with its beautiful gardens. * The metro station is very near. Additional info: you can buy daily tickets for metro at the front desk, that are cheaper than to buy it at the metro station. * Staff was very kind and friendly.

Cons: * Size of the room - rooms are super small (we stayed at double room with shared bathroom), but if you stay out all day like us, then this will not be a problem for you * Breakfast - same things every day: soup, toast and different jams

Pros: Brilliant location. Fun, friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Having to rent a towel is a bit much.
6,0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly, helpful. Cafe was convenient. Decent location. Good price.
Cons: Was in the lower dorm, and the downstairs washroom, shower was being renovated. Had to walk up a flight of stairs, pass view of the main lobby to use the washroom. A real pain. Towels should be free of charge. Generally not very clean.
