We enjoy our stay at jimbocho which choose triple room share. The staff very helpful, cheerful and informative. We'd like to suggest to change the pillow, its bit hard and thick for our standard.
I was there through the typhoon Hagibis and the staff were super nice. The restaurant with nice food was open all hours while the rest of Tokyo was closed and had bunkered down. You could get tea and coffee for free at all times and hang out with other guests during typhoon. People bond in crisis easily. The locaion of the the hotel felt very safe tucked amongst big buildings.
I don't quite understand that you get slippers, a morning gown and face washer but no towel. Being new to Japan, maybe that is normal. Might have to buy a towel, never expereineced this in Europe. I first felt expensive for what it was, a tiny room. But again, I'm not up on Tokyo prices and it's probably not expensive.
Good location, close to a street full of second hand book stores. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A cute terrace area in which you can have your breakfast in the morning.
I was staying in the shared room in underground level. A bit noisy during the night since that was the only floor in which using hair dryer was allowed after a certain hour!
Great staff, very helpful! Very clean and cosy common space and terrace!
All was great: room, staff, breakfast!
