Pros: price was good for decent hotel

Cons: There are other hotels that pay more attention to detail in terms of service, cleanliness, etc, but more pricier. This is a good hotel for the price.

Pros: I like it that all the staffs there are very friendly.

Cons: I wish that pastries are provided at the lounge during the morning timing so that we can grab a bite before we head else where for breakfast :)

Pros: Luxury hotel with very nice staff. All the staff there are very nice and with good attitude. Room is spacious, neat and tidy. ~5mins walk to the metro station. Taking Uber to attractions aren't far away as well. Special thanks to Olivia, Guest Relations Manager, she helped to make a very memorable celebration. Will definitely consider it if heading back to Taipei again.

Cons: My room was next to the elevators, some weird noise was made all the time, not so loud tho. The exterior is a bit old, I was a bit deterred due to this reason before booking.

Pros: Clean and bright.

Cons: It was so slow in order to check in and there wasn’t any confusion on my booking but the staff was so slow. I couldn’t finish my check-in process in 30 minutes because the young staff was not familiar with the system (I know this because he tried to click every single button on the screen). I couldn’t understand why a 5-star luxury hotel would allow a poor trained staff to be at the front desk without an instructor. Moreover, other staffs didn’t come and try to help until I asked for help. At the end, I was asked to stay in the lobby waiting area for even longer waiting and this young staff took my luggage storage receipt and never come back. It was such a bad experience especially Regent is famous and high-end hotel but the service level was so poor. It’s not worth it to pay such a high rate and get the bad quality.

Pros: The location is great. Right above the underground shopping centre of Taipei station and just across the road of Taipei Main station (which you can get there via underground shopping centre Y5 exit or the footbridge entering from N3 exit) and Airport express (can go via underground shopping centre or cross the road). It takes approx. 40 min with express train to the airport, which is acceptable. It is right next to a shopping centre (small, like 3 levels) but definitely giving you good choices of food if you want to dine outside the hotel but also locally. The hotel is clean, good staff and customer service. We left our luggage on the day we arrived (not yet check in) and they delivered our luggage to our room after we check in. The cleaner did a great job in cleaning our room.

Cons: The bathroom area is an open area, especially the door of the shower room is complete transparent. it'd be fine to travel with partner but not with friends/other family members. It has a curtain to cover the whole area but would still prefer to have more coverage for privacy. The view of my room isn't great, because there is a construction site right opposite the hotel. If you "skip" the construction site, the view is ok. Since I hardly stay in the hotel during the day so I couldn't hear any noise. Photos shown views from my room which is on level 7.

Pros: I would give an applause to the inner design, The deft connection between the bath and shower Shows two different ambience at the same time

Cons: AC did not cool properly, could not get room below 72 f / /22.5 C, even leaving it on all day. big disappointment for me, when it is as hot and Humid as Taipei is.

Pros: This is a large boutique hotel, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It does have a dark look, but the quality of the interior is terrific. The detail in the room, everything from the desk to the venting of the air-conditioning is very well done.

Cons: If you like to walk around, it's a little far from major attractions. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a cab for me anytime I needed it.

Pros: The location is not bad, next to the Metro station (although a very long walk to the actuall platforms) and a decent shopping centre., and a three-michelin-starred restaurant is just upstairs

Cons: Way too dark!!! There is very little light in the entire hotel, from the lobby, to the hallway, and to the room. You can't really turn up the lights as there are very few lights in the room and they are ALL very dark. The entire ambience is gloomy and depressed, which is just so bad

Pros: Right in the middle of Ximending. This place is a good location for eating, shopping and there's taxi and the MRT is readily accessible. Staff is friendly and helpful who will go extra mile for you. I really love this place and will definitely stay here again!

Cons: You know I booked it not knowing the city. It was between the Amba and Puri. Taipei is not the easiest of places to navigate. And the google maps that link in with the bookings are rubbish. They seem to conveniently erase metro stations and prominent buildings of note. So when you are looking at hard copies of maps AND. The google maps you are completely thrown. It doesn’t help that reception is at 5 th floor the hotel being above a fairly non descript shopping mall. I wastedover an hour trudging the streets trying to find it and even afterwards when I went back was having difficulty getting my bearings and, you know, I am usually spot on with maps and directions.

Pros: Hotel design is very modern. Love the vibes. Staff are extremely friendly. Location of hotel is extremely convenient.

Pros: Great location, about 5 mins walk to Taipei Main Station which is handy for the MRT, buses and Taipei Sightseeing bus. Lots of great eating places very close by, 7 Eleven and Family Mart just a few doors down. Staff are very friendly and helpful, facilities were good, very convenient to have laundry facilities on site and free for use. Overall, a pretty decent stay and woild recommend this place to other travellers.

Cons: Didn't think much of the breakfast, not much variety. We had breakfast the first day then chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay even though breakfast was included in the room rate.

Pros: The Taipei main Train Station is less than 10 min walk away and the bus stops are very near. There are 7-11 and Family marts within doorsteps; and lots of nice & good restaurants and small food & drink stores nearby. The room was clean, spacious and the shower has a strong flow. Can also leave our luggages with them before check-in and after check-out.

Cons: The WiFi is weak.

Pros: One of the staff Daniel is very helpful and courteous. He is helpful in every small way, eg. wifi in the room low signal and he solved the issue quite quickly.

Cons: Pillow not comfortable because there's a plastic lining inside and sinks down when you lie on it.
