Pros: The hotel has mid-century modern minimalist decor that suits our aesthetic taste. The hotel faces a busy main street but once you enter a spacious hall decorated with natural wood furniture, your stress level goes down immediately-the lobby is on the third floor. The trilingual staff at front desk is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious with a choice of Taiwanese and Western dishes. Their French toast was really good. The magnificent National Palace Museum is only 10 min walk from the hotel. If you like peace and tranquility for appreciating fine art, for writing or for some intellectual pursuit, away from bustling downtown, this is your place--It is not touristy, but not far from the night market and other attractions. I noticed that the hotel guests include professors who attended academic conferences at the nearby university and seasoned business people who like quiet spots for meetings. On the 5th floor is a small gym; laundry machines are free to use. there is also a small library overlooking a garden and a lily pond. The room is clean and spacious; the minibar in the room has a couple of soft drinks and water bottles for free. There is a convenience store nearby.

Pros: I like the view from the room and the bed was nice. I love the design and style of the common areas and the building as a whole. I love the mural , library and zen garden.

Pros: its closeness to the national museum is it's only redeeming factor. a 200 meter walk up the hill which was worth the walk!

Pros: their breakfast was awesome! also, their cafe space was so spacious and relaxing that helped me to focus on my work very much; I spent great work hours and relaxing time there. when it comes to its convenience of transportation, the main street is right in front of the hotel so, it's super easy to find taxi.

Pros: Design is good and unique. Room is big enough and also design is good inside the room. Even there are no window room, but still feel comfortable to stay.

Pros: the location, about one hundred meters above sea level, is really great and offer a great view to Taipei City.

Pros: Iy is a really Grand Hotel and architecturally magnificent.

Pros: This Hotel is a must if you travel to Taipei. It has everything your heart desires including a huge pool, amazing views on the city, outstanding food and super polite service. A private shuttle bus takes you to the two closest MRT stations from where you can easily reach the city. Though the hotel has everything you need to spend the whole day. We will come again for sure. In my opinion one of the most unique hotels in the world

Pros: It is beautiful, classy and full of history. But some facilities are too old and need updates. It took a long walk to get to my room. since I had knee joint problem, it was a painful experience.

Pros: The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. It offered numerous choices for all ethnic groups. We loved the history of the building, the architecture of the building, and the interior spaces of the building. (We like old buildings with character and charm.) The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, we didn't spend a lot of time in our beautiful suite room, as we were out exploring Taipei, nor did we have time to use the different facilities the hotel offered.

Pros: The breakfast was awesome. We stayed for 8 nights and still wasn't bored of the selection of breakfast. The room was spacious and staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and the location was super. The wifi was mostly strong and fast. The hotel was located right next to the night market, but there was no noise from the outside.

Pros: breakfast was a nice combination of foods. Nice fresh fruit. Everything was nicely presented. A nice plate of fresh fruit was in our room every day to have with a cup of tea or coffee. Location is across the street from the night market. Open from 5 -11 everyday. Lot of food stands, clothing shops and "trinkets"
