Taipei hotels in Songshan District

Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable The staff were very helpful pre departure in helping me to book a massage The lobby area is very tastefully decorated with plenty of room to meet friends and chat

Cons: Lighting in the room was very dim and it would of been nicer to be able to change the intensity for work/ relax time The gym is poor. No air con, one of the two run machines broken and equipment crammed in a very small space

Pros: Everything. Location next to MRT, bus station. Room was clean, bed is comfy and perfect for night sleep. Bfast not so much option but the service was really good to make up for it

Cons: The curtain in the room cannot be withdrawn so you end up stay in with lighting only which is not ideal if you need to do some work. You cant tell day or night through a close curtain and dim light. The lobby also quite dark in my opinion

Pros: The rooms is spacious and come with coffee machine and daily fruits basket. Toilet is clean and spacious. The lounge on the group level is very quite and suitable for business meeting. Not forget there are free flow of coffee and tea thru out the day.

Cons: The pillow is too soft even with two pillow. Did no really get a good rest. The gym room is rather cramp

Pros: We were grateful that we were being upgraded to a suite.

Cons: The lighting in the big living room of the suite is quite dark.

Pros: Great place to stay, highly recommended! No windows in the room which is fine because we’d just be here at night. Clean and spacious. There is 24hours open lounge on the 2nd floor, where you can have a free drink such as bottles of water, cans of Taiwan beer, coffee, orange and apple juice, and so on. Also, snacks, nuts, fruits , yogurts are available. Close to the MRT station and bus stop for the airport. Several wonderful local breakfast places in the neighborhood. Just 2~3 stops to Jiaho’s Night Market which is 2nd biggest night market in Taipei. Staffs are very nice and helpful. I’d like to come back again!!

Pros: Their services were good and the lounge facility in 2nd floor was really good.

Cons: The room size was too small for comfort and when we consider the kind of money they charge , the feel changes to unsatisfactory . Further they were really reluctant to allow check in even at 1pm though most of the hotels in the world would be ok if you pre request. As per their rules, the check in is 3pm whoch is pretty late forna business traveller. An hour or two earlier should not be an issue in a 4star-5star property, ideally.

Pros: Staff are very good. All are English speaking and very polite. (Front desk) Location is ideal and many shops and Resturant are located near by.

Cons: 1. Bed.. Bed bed...kind of key-point in a hotel it is the item you will use the most time.. The bed madras feels old and saggy. Offers not enough support for the back. After some time the back pain sets in. 2. Carpet should not be allowed in hotel rooms . (period)

Cons: In the last the breakfast was inclusive in the lounge on 2nd floor now it is on 1 st floor charged if not included. Nothing special. I preferred the previous concept however it is a great place to stay

Pros: I like the size of this hotel (small) Vs the bigger hotel with hundreds of rooms. The wifi works well. The design of the rooms is nice.

Pros: The staff were extraordinarily helpful; they could not do enough to make my stay a most memorable one. The room had all the basics but with a sense of style.

Cons: the room key activates the lights and power sources precluding charging phones, razors etc if you are not in the room

Pros: The style of the hotel is fantastic, it’s a brand new boutique hotel. The staff overall is friendly but the english is limited. The food in their outlet + room service is good. They offer free access to the stadium’s gym which is perfect.

Cons: All the rooms don’t have any windows, I mean there’s a small one with bars in front, that means there’s no day light in the room. You can easily feel depressed there because of that.

Pros: The free apples were a nice touch.

Pros: Staff were excellent. I travelled with my Mom who is on wheelchair, the bell services and concierge staff are exceptional. We were provided a wheelchair accessible room. The hotel has excellent, very service oriented staff

Cons: The room has only one desk chair and insufficient hooks in the bathroom even for towels

Cons: Staff at your cafe bar on the first floor require to improve on their English. The young lady was ok, the older one was poor and found it it difficult to be pleasant. I raised an issue on the amount of wine served in the glass and she was very poor with her PR and response. Even if I was slightly incorrect it would have been better to pour an extra ounce instead of arguing about it!!! Pathetic !! This was my second stay there and I was disappointed. For the record my company has a hospitality division and we own a Hilton, Wyndham and a Ramada. Not behavior I would condone from staff in the hospitality business. Other staff were very good, this one requires a bit more training

Pros: Service and accommodations are always good. Asked for iron in my room over a year ago and ever since it is always out and ready for me to use when I arrive. Highly recommend.

Pros: The hotel was clean, there was a free shuttle to key locations of taipei. The staff were kind and polite.

Cons: They were not prompt in making sure the room was available by 3pm. Coming from an early flight, we were tired and any further delays were not welcome. The front desk staff were apologetic but their senior staff ( lady manager /supervisor) was in passive aggressive mode to justify their delay. This was not appreciated at all. They could have offered our party a drink to cool us down instead of having the “im in command attitude.”

Pros: Location is very good coz only a minute walk from metro. There are couples good restaurants plus a yummy bread shop. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Cons: Hotel campus is located next to one of the city central inter-change metro station which is onvience for you to go anywhere.

Pros: The hotel is at a great location, right next door to the metro station and in walkable distance to Taipei Arena. There are many restaurants near the hotel and the hotel itself offers a good varieties of food options. The room seemed to have been newly renovated; it was clean and spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Cons: The room cleaning seemed a bit sloppy. I noticed some stains and hairs left in the bathroom after cleaning on the second day of my stay.

Cons: Constant harassment for paying my bill every week of my 4 week stay, even after they took large deposit. Made me feel very untrusted. I am a very regular guest there also. Because of this I won’t be going back.

Pros: Perfect hotel for 4-star level. The hotel is old but the condition is really good. The facilities work well, the room is definitely clean, and the staff are quite friendly and helpful. I also enjoy the location of this hotel where there is a breeze nearby

Cons: Lobby staff was not attentive. She charged by debit card for my stay upon check in and because I have to leave Taipei for an emergency situation in Manila, theycharged me again via my friend's credit card because they said I have not paid yet. BDO investigated and gave back my money.
