Pros: Well appointed. Gracious, professional, efficient staff
Cons: Room a bit noisy, street noise audible, as was the maid's HQ across the hall. Otherwise very clean, comfortable, very nice. The destination charge is bogus, and the parking too expensive.

Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: No

Pros: Big rooms, excellent location, very friendly staff, very well maintained hotel
Cons: No buffet breakfast available

Pros: Great location
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great, the front desk and valet people were great.. hotel is in financial district, so very safe. king bed and room were great.
Cons: but my booking fee was 567, and my bill ended up being $960.. parking was awful at 65 per day plus a 10 tax on that, so that was a big chunk of the excess fees, but $25 destination charge, 14% here, 1% there, all added up. the concierge was not as nice as the other staff. lots of walking to various places like union square, the top of California, the piers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful , clean, comfortable, staff very friendly. Concierge was excellent in his advice and knowledge of the city. Our New Year’s Day was fabulous!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quality room, quiet, great location
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, Front desk and Bellman staff were very courteous and helpful.
Cons: Cleaning staff were too loud in the hallway and adjacent rooms .. laughing and speaking louder than necessary to perform cleaning tasks... as compared to other similar star rated hotels. My room was on the 17th flr.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service was excellent
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff service is excellent and makes me feel comfortable. The room is big and the location is great just 3 blocks away from the BART station and also 3 blocks away from the cable car terminal (which is great for sight seeing). Room service is also professional.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Some parts of the rooms especially are a little older, feels like the hotel could use a little modernization in its facilities and amenities.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious, comfortable rooms. Outstanding customer service. Great location & views.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view on the 42 floor room..bridge to bridge.
Cons: Room furnishings were very tired. Was surprised at the peeling wallpaper and paint in the bathroom. The headboard material (vinyl I believe) was actually worn to the point where the color was coming off on one side of the bed. Not what I expected for an 800 per night room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodations!
7,9 Good
Pros: The view was good. It was a little further away from the shopping than we expected. More in the business didtrict

Pros: Bathroom is a bit dated. It’s okay overall. But when it was operated by mandarin oriental, quality was better overall.
Cons: Bathroom is dated. Lobby is rather small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location & Staff
Cons: Rooms ending in 10 (E.G.4110) have a problem with noise during the night if the sliding door to the bathroom is not completely open. This issue impacted sleep the 1st night. Upon discovery of what caused the problem it was eliminated. Spa was closed.

Pros: Impeccable service from beginning to end and the views were the best I'have ever seen.
Cons: No
10,0 Excellent

5,0 Okay
Pros: The view was nice, but everything else was so outdated n old.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a room on the 27th floor with fantastic bay views and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also had a terrific brunch downstairs on Sunday, what more can one ask?
Cons: It is located a little too far top walk to Union Square, but only a few minutes by Uber, so not a big deal...

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Cleanliness Courteousness
10,0 Excellent
Pros: 5-star hotel all the way. Soundproof windows, excellent service, central location, and a bespoke feel.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Holiday Décor, the 2 Restaurants, lobby door men, concierge knowledge. I do not know how many people book 5 nights, but I would have a rotation of flavors of muffins in the morning, we had same selection all 5 mornings. Hotel Breakfasts in dining room were very good. Taxi services good.
Cons: steps between 7th and 8th floor
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved this hotel!!! It was in a great location, the staff was awesome. The rooms were truly unique and comfortable. I will stay here again and again! I had breakfast in the dining room and it was wonderful.
Cons: The rugs in the hallways looked like they needed to be replaced. That was really it for me.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: My room was lovely - quality furnishings, sufficient space, nice view.
Cons: I was very surprised to be charged an extra $35 for "facilities fee", including taxes. This is not a resort so I don't understand why it would charge a high "facilities fee".
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was exceptional
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Cons: No bells and whistles. This was much more like your standard, mid-grade Marriott than a 4-star experience. No fluffy robes, slippers, turn-down service, etc.
5,0 Okay
Cons: There was nearly $35 in hotel fees that I wasnt aware of when I booked the room. It came as a surprise when I checked out the next morning. Apparently it was for coffee and pastry in the lobby and WiFi. I didnt want either. Waste of money.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Pros: Location Staff is wonderful Rooms are large and comfortable for San Francisco
Cons: Cons: The Bistro is awful, did not try the restaurant Weird position for shower activation, have to actually be in the shower to turn it on........BRRR. The closet is about 12" wide, so this is not the place to stay for a long time
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great!
Cons: Understand being charged for internet and coffee/muffins, but if breakfast runs until 9:30 then there should be coffee and muffins available at 9:15. I let the front desk know and waited 15 minutes to no avail.

Cons: Our only complaint is that the windows in our room did not open.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so helpful and friendly!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to union square and access to the SF tram. Nice and helpful staff. Also like the environmental efforts of the hotel, e.g. offering water fountains instead of bottled water.
Cons: Could need a bit of a touch up.
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was also clean. It was also close to sights or close to the tram line which can take you to the sights. Cute little cafe next door which is great for breakfast.
Cons: The room has a rustic feel which suits San Fransisco but was not as modern as we thought it would be. The bathroom could also do with a bit of an upgrade as the shower curtains and shower head were a little dated. If all you need is a bed and bath for a short amount of time this hotel is perfect.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: the room is very good, the street is not audible. The bed, bedding is wonderful. the room is large, wardrobe, safe.
Cons: can improve the shower

Pros: Location was good. Hotel quiet and standard. Doormen were jolly and helpful.

8,0 Excellent
Cons: Cleaning services left the door open one day with everything inside the room. We could have lost money, passports, iPads etc. Fortunately, we didn't but we were quite stressed out, the hotel could have offered us something. It's quite a big failing.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: We had to ask for tea kettle and coffee makers. And they asked us to be in a waiting line. WTF the hotel charges so much money and they can't just put a coffee maker and tea kettle in every room. Also we had to call several times to get anything serviced. Our car took 1 hour to come out of the valet parking. We had to wait for 45 mins to get to breakfast. I understand it is crowded during New year's season but for a hotel that been around for this long they sure have not figure out efficiency.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Worst bed materiel Worst customer service
10,0 Excellent
Pros: High standard of accommodation and the main courtyard, wonderful Christmas decorations.
Cons: The air temperature in the pool and exercise area was far too low to be comfortable. The beautiful pool was a big reason we chose this hotel and we only used it once during a 7 night stay because it was uncomfortably cold.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building
Cons: When we checked in we were given our room but when we opened the door you would think a bomb had went off inside someone had a great party before us also breakfast is great but you also expect the service to match and when you have to ask for cutlery and coffee refills the service surely doesn’t not the first day but the next day our server well made up for it and we were well looked after I’d still recommend the breakfast

Pros: Location, service
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtakingly beautiful!
Cons: I couldn’t stay longer

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Accomodating stuff
Cons: Hot tub no bubbles
6,0 Good
Pros: The mattress was big, comfortable and it isolated movement extremely well.
Cons: For a five-star hotel, the room was not as big as I expected and the bathroom was particularly small. The room wasn't as quiet as I expected either, as other rooms' bathrooms made loud clunking sounds that emanated through my room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I was allergic to the laundry detergent. Didn't sleep at all. Staff compensated me with free breakfast which was nice.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff customer service overall treatment

Pros: The hotel was clean and nicely designed. Malin+goetz products in the bathroom, comfortable beds and courteous staff. Great location; close to everything but you do not see much homelessness. Definitely a great value at $--- a night. Would stay again.
Cons: I appreciate the free coffee/tea for guests from 5:30 am to 10 am but you have to go down to their restaurant. Would have been better to provide coffee and hot water makers in the room.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent and the rooms were very clean.

Pros: Location. View from room was spectacular
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great smell in the entrance lobby
Cons: The shower was quite dated, a coffee machine in the room would be useful
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We checked in at 4am, after a very long drive. The valet and front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and got us settled in right away. They got us into a room with 2 beds, to accommodate our family of 4.
Cons: Only 2 of the 4 elevators seemed to be working, which made for slow going at peak times.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location.....close to Ferry building , restaurants, shopping......
Cons: Given an accessible room....door difficult to operate as it opens and closes loudly on its own.....does not have a bath tub..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff was great. Food was great. Will definitely stay again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, very classy but also comfortable and friendly. This was the second time we've had an anniversary trip here. Best view from a hotel room that we've ever had.  the front desk treated us wonderfully. We'll be back.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and view was amazing. Beds were also comfortable. Valet was super friendly.
Cons: Small thing but no coffee maker was a bummer.

7,0 Good
Pros: Double beds are more wide beds for one person, Location is great up on Nob Hill, right next to Grace Cathedral and the Mason Hall
Cons: Narrow "double beds", loud heating/AC, prices for breakfast (half a grapefruit = 22 $ + tax o.O)
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Weird furniture...like a fun house. Needs to conform to the classic of the hotel. It would have been nice to have a mini bar.
6,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Bar is stylish and very popular.
Cons: A bit dated. Gym was tiny. There wasn’t even a treadmill. Breakfast not worth the money, better go next door and have breakfast at the Fairmont.
6,7 Good
Pros: Big rooms, friendly staf
Cons: Old hotel, poor gym, adding high fees to the price (in addition to high city tax)
5,0 Okay
Pros: This hotel is well located on Nob Hill, and our room was a good size. We had a nice city view from our room on an upper floor.
Cons: Although modernized, the room (and the hotel generally) is somewhat old-fashioned, bordering on shabby. We asked that a bathroom flickering light be repaired, but nothing changed. The heating/AC was noisy. The heating/AC ducting did not extend into the bathroom. We had a late snack at the restaurant that was not very good (and service was slow), but the breakfast items (and service) were fine.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I’ve stayed at the Huntington a couple of times now and each time I prefer the one bedroom suites. They are huge and provide space if you choose to entertain or have unexpected guests. The hotel is also located across from one of the cleanest children’s playground which my daughter loves. Finally, you must eat at the Big 4 restaurant! Their filet mignon is to die for!
Cons: The decor is dated and could use a facelift. They should also replace the TVs with larger SMART TVs. More water pressure in the shower please!!! Cleanliness was an issue on my last stay. I found woman’s unwashed panties hanging behind the bathroom door!! Obviously the cleaning staff missed it during their inspection.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Yes
Cons: Clean and people are very nice yes
7,5 Good
Pros: Very large room and nice views on 11th floor. Beds really comfortble. Nice bathroom.
Cons: Somewhat worn down Hotel. Rated 5 star but difficult to understand what is 5 star with this hotel. Gym facility very limited.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Our suite was terrific...spacious, bright and welcoming. And the views were spectacular. And employee at the front desk was extremely helpful when there was an issue with the initial room allocated to us. She rectified the problem swiftly and efficie
Cons: The blankets were not comfortable & our initial room was meant to have "stunning views" but actually faced a tall wall of the next door church. However, when we informed the hotel staff, they promptly gave us a large room with panoramic views of the c
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are large and beautiful appointed. We had an incredible view of the city from on top of Nob Hill. Also love the bar in this hotel-- wonderful piano music and atmosphere.
Cons: We wish we could have gotten in for dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, but it was booked-- very popular spot with a good chef. We have enjoyed eating here in the past very much.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff who were friendly and without any attitude. The Big 4 is one of the most amazing bars/restaurants I have ever been to. It's like stepping into 1890's SF. Worth every penny. The people I have met there over the years on multiple visits: A++
Cons: No mini bar and limited room service over night but the hotel makes up in ways most places fall down.
5,0 Okay
Cons: Hotel advertised pool and jacuzzi but you cannot use on weekends unless you book a spa treatment. Lady who works at front desk couldn't give a st. Spent a lot of money and could not use facilities. They should post online that not available on we

Pros: I forgot my laptop on accident as I was checking out and the hotel housekeeping very kindly kept it for me. As soon as I realized, I called the hotel and spoke with Jamal, who was very kind in coordinating a solution for me. My highest compliments and deepest gratitude!
Cons: There were a couple of people who answered the phone who may have been new or uninformed as they were not able to corroborate information I received from other staff members.

Pros: location convenient
Cons: shower pressure insufficient
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Affordable (hint: book on their web site using your phone), the room and hotel overall was comfortable, modern, and clean. It's a half block from the dragons gate and lots of restaurants and stores. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy with a large vanity. The TV has Chromecast and apps. There is a refrigerator in the room. There are chocolates on your pillow and a fantastic filtered water machine in the hallway of the floor. Kureg coffee machine in your room. Rooftop balcony with a view.
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located smack in the middle of the action! It's right next to the Dragon's Gate. We had front row seats to the China Town area. A couple of blocks south and we were in Union Square. Muni bus, cable cars, and the Bart are all convenient.
Cons: I was hoping for a better work out facility. All the good food and late night dinners started taking a toll. Really needed the morning workouts. Please bring in more free weights and bands.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was clean
Cons: I booked a room with 2 beds and when I got there I had a room with one bed and a pull out sofa bed. When I told the front desk I was told that they upgraded me. I don't think a room with 1 bed and a pull out sofa bed was an upgrade when I paid for 2 bed
10,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the cleanest rooms and very well-designed interior. Given the area it was surprisingly quiet as well. The staff was courteous and gracious. Oh and not to mention that there is a cool rooftop area.
Cons: Very hard to find something I didn't like. Perhaps the pricing of the breakfast in house; not much of a complaint considering that there is food literally everywhere around the area.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the rooms were a nice size, and the beds were super comfy. We also loved the rooftop patio.
Cons: On the first night, there was a mixup with the kind of beds we were given (kings instead of doubles), but the staff quickly found a solution and even offered us a free breakfast for the following morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All good. We had everything at the reach of a walk. Next door is Dragon’s Gate (literally). Close to a lot of restaurants, transport to airport (BART), convenience stores and fancy, high-end shops...

Cons: The bed needs to be better for mature guest.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Room including bathroom was quite spacious for being in an older building. Very pet friendly!

10,0 Excellent
Cons: Loved it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service - staff were brilliant.
Cons: More choice on bar menu.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient. Newly remodeled hotel in a historic building so everything is new and clean. Has a sort of hip/rock n Roll vibe focusing on the literary world. Mostly decor/artwork of authors that espouse the virtue of drugs and communism but this is SF.
Cons: Better and more breakfast options in cafe. Hotel is not family friendly. I repeat NOT family friendly. It’s dark and heavy. Weird pillow on our bed that read Pot is Fun. Again, this is SF but these symbolisms throughout the decor are very specific and not for me.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was central to everything, staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were quiet and clean. The bar was perfect for evening cocktails.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the bar
Cons: ?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is central enough and is just walking distance to all the shops. The beds are super comfortable.
Cons: I’m sure it would be even more pretty and brighter after the renovation works at the lobby is done.

Pros: I liked that this space actually had clear separation in room usage with doors, unlike some other suite-style hotels. It helped delineate space and gave me and my toddler a bit of privacy and keep her on her sleep schedule.
Cons: While all the room features were up-to-date, the dish washer looked a bit sad. The walls seemed a bit thin and you could hear people walking throughout the halls and up and down the stairs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of space and amenities
Cons: Long stairs
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy rooms, good continental breakfast but in room 811 where I stayed there was a spider walking on the wall I understand why because of the wildness around the hotel, anyway I took pictures for it.
Cons: Rough location especially at night, other than that everything was fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room and facilities were excellent and great value for money compared to what you can get at neighbouring San Francisco. Inclusive breakfast was very good too with a good fruit selection and waffle-making station. Staff were very friendly. Even has free shuttle bus service to the airport. By far the best hotel we stayed at on our Californian road trip, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting San Fran.
Cons: There wasn't a lift to take our luggage up to our room - all 6 cases up 2 flights! After having travelled a long way by car and it being dark at this point, a lift would have been much appreciated.
7,0 Good
Cons: The fold out bed was not very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s our 6th time staying at staybridge - we lobe the location, space, breakfast and cleanliness of the hotel - we will definitely come back again!

Overview Reviews
World renowned, Fairmont San Francisco presents an awe-inspiring picture of historic San Francisco. The grandeur of the luxury hotel atop Nob Hill coupled with its reputation for impeccable service promises a truly memorable experience. Central to the Financial District, Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf, the Fairmont Hotel is located at the only spot in San Francisco where each of the City's cable car lines meet.

Pros: The architecture
Cons: Overpriced
6,7 Good
Pros: Great Valet.
Cons: Poor bar. Closed early.

Pros: The room was huge, clean, beautiful.
Cons: I would have liked some instruction on how to use the hotel Wifi
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building, excellent location to SF. room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and open.
Cons: Our room , #113 had an extremely noisy HVAC fan. We could not leave the heat on and be able to sleep.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Luxurious. Historical.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was wonderful. We had a great time walking to many places. It is close to shopping, Fisherman's Wharf and several restaurants. I love the fact that they raise bees and enjoyed the honey beer. The coffee and wine were great too!
Cons: Nothing really. We liked our room. The bed was comfortable. Many families travelling with cranky toddlers, but that isn't the hotel's fault:}
7,7 Good
Pros: grand old hotel, with wonderfully decorated lobby. nice large rooms.
Cons: rooms are a a bit Spartan. room was not ready or fully cleaned on arrival. long waits for valet parking. prices are very high
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The personnel and the rooms are excellent. The breakfast buffet not good and very expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Ever since I was a kid, my parents would always drive by the Fairmont and tell us what a fancy hotel it was. On this visit, my wife and I stayed over for my 48th birthday. What a beautiful place.
Cons: Yes, I did not like the fact that it is at the top of the hill at California and Mason. If you're anywhere near Union Square and on foot, you have to walk up a severely steep hill.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel restaurant could not clear tables from previous guests and you could only be served the buffet. The other restaurant was closed.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. Nice rooms.
Cons: Ask about their add on fees. We went to a New Years party at the Tonga room. They add a 20% gratuity to your entire bill. That includes your entry fee. So your giving them a 20% tip to walk through the door. NEVER AGAIN! No one on their staff was willing to work this out. For a 5 star establishment, this is not the way to do business.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best Christmas decorations of any SF hotel. Outstanding service, quiet room, great gym and location.

Overview Reviews
Timeless yet modern, The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square has been offering guests a warm welcome and an enriching, restorative stay since opening on March 21, 1904. With its turn-of-the-20th-century European style, our hotel in downtown San Francisco blends the elegance of oak-paneled restaurants and the stately grandeur of the lobby with a $45 million reinvention of the Landmark Building guest rooms, ushering in a new chapter for this storied destination. At this standout among San Francisco hotels on Union Square, you can host events in venues and ballrooms where the finest big bands once played. Recharge in elegant rooms, many featuring chandeliers and marble bathrooms, with modern touches like Heavenly® Beds and Enseo Smart TV systems. As the only hotel on Union Square, SF, it is close to the Financial District and Moscone Convention Center, and with cable cars just outside our front doors, we are at the intersection of the glorious past and vibrant present of San Francisco.

Pros: Great location and walking distance to restaurants, shops, union square and etc.
Cons: No bottled water provided or electric kettle provided.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located and excellent service
Cons: I was also charged by the Hotel for the night. I called and they said I'd get reimbursed in 5-7 business days. Its frustrating but I hope it is resolved quickly without any issues
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Westin St Francis is centrally located on Union Square. It is a high end hotel and is priced accordingly. The reception team and concierge service were very helpful.
Cons: Couldn’t fault the hotel, we will happily return.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect near the Curron Theatre! Also, across all the shopping stores
Cons: The beds could've been more comfortable and maybe two queens instead of full size, the rooms are big enough.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Value and Service !
7,4 Good
Pros: directly across the street from Union Square, so it’s perfectly walkable
Cons: Parking was atrocious. It took two hours to actually approach the parking garage bc of a traffic logjam, and we never got to actually park our car safely at the hotel. We had to find a random garage a few blocks away. Best bet is to drop your car off very early, or well after check-in time.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Parking rate is out of the world!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's history and location made it our runaway first choice. It lived up to its 5 star reputation starting with check in.
Cons: It's an old building; you come up steps to get to the front door. A modern building would have a ramp. But, a ramp would ruin the looks. So you put up with a cumber some handling of your luggage.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: 11 checkout too early
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is the place to stay. The Christmas decorations in the foyer were excellent. The hotel is a destination in itself. If you don’t stay here at least visit the lobby and clock bar

7,0 Good
Pros: Very convenient location in Union Square. However, bad traffic jam in front of hotel always. Usually, I will get off at the street before or in Geary Street.
Cons: - toiletry kits not provided but upon request. I didn't know and lucky that I have brought my shower cap. - the cleaning lady knocking the door at 09:30am and while I am on the bed, she opened the door!!! She left some rubbish in front of the door after cleaning. She did come every morning at 09:30am until I put a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign. -short staff as my stay was around Christmas so many guests

Overview Reviews
With a name like the Argonaut, it's impossible not to speak of this hotel in grand, almost legendary terms. Inspired by the Greek legend and Gold Rush-era adventurers, it's one of those rare places in San Francisco that truly merits a term like iconic. Located in the historic Haslett Warehouse, the Argonaut's home is a grand building built in 1907 of exposed brick, Douglas Fir beams and so much seaside character; you feel as though you can almost reach out and touch the colorful Barbary Coast past here. Our boutique hotel is also celebrated for an unsurpassed level of 4-Diamond service and amenities that provide an unforgettable destination experience. Couple that with a positively perfect location at San Francisco's most famous address: perched on the edge of the Bay at Fisherman's Wharf, and it’s easy to see why the hotel is so coveted. A recipient of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for five years running.

Pros: The whole experience from check in to check out was fantastic! The location was right next to a cable car pick up, many restaurants and shops, Pier 39 is about a 5-10 min walk. We walked to Lombard St and enjoyed amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. John was happy to help every single day at the door with directions, our luggage, got us coffee vouchers and offered advice, wisdom and some laughs. The hotel is extremely kid friendly—we didn’t have our kids with us but look forward to returning with them.

Pros: I liked that it was a short drive to the airport. I liked that they served continental breakfast in the morning.
Cons: Unlike some of the other reviews, I definitely heard very loud jet noise as they flew overheard multiple times in the night. The king bed was super uncomfortable (sagging towards the middle) and the two blankets that were provided were super thin.
