Pros: It is a beautiful property, but the seaweed infestation emits an awful smell and the beach was closed. I bought this reservation on your site based on your advertisement that it was an all-inclusive reservation. IT WAS NOT!!! I felt totally misled.

Cons: The smell and that the staff was not very helpful when I explained how we bought an all-inclusive package.

Cons: The hotel seemed a little bit lacking liveliness but maybe thats because the time we went was not too busy.

Pros: This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. They make you feel important from the moment you walk in. If you go to eat in the resort your room will be cleaned again wile you eat. They have 24hr room service at very reasonable prices. There spa is top notch. The beach view is breath taking.

Cons: It is hard to find something that we didn’t like but if there is something, it would be that the breakfast wasn’t included in the price witch is included in similar hotels.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful with many amenities and good restaurants to choose from. The pool was very nice and staff there were great! Our room was very nice, ocean view, roomy and comfortable! Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all they had to offer.

Cons: We didn't like be solicited by one of the staff members immediately after checking in. We were pressured to give some of our time to hear a presentation on joining their member club which was only supposed to last 45 minutes and would be done during breakfast. It ended up being 1 1/2 hours and the presentation was done after breakfast. We also found out that the members program was also a scam when we researched after leaving the presentation. Thank goodness we knew not to jump into signing up for something with out research plus we were not there to waste time on joining some type of time share. So unfortunately that put a bad feeling on the hotel with us.

Pros: We love Everything.Specially Lizbeth in front desk she made us happier.She upgraded us because we are in honeymoon.Because of her great welcome we extended 7 days. I recommend this hotel

Cons: Didn’t like the fact they didn’t tell us we could kayak for free. And didn’t like the fact you have to pay for a third person even tho it was a double standard room. Only 3 ppl is allowed max to that type of room.

Pros: They questioned us about special event that brought us on the vacation. It was our 15th anniversary. They had a bottle of Brut and cake to celebrate all set up in the room.

Cons: The wait for the check in was 20 min!! They weren't even busy!!! They were occupied with checking in a large group of flight attendants and pilot. Wish they had a separate person dealing with major groups. Also bedsheets were not cleaned properly.

Pros: The hotel was lovely! Went to the spa and got a relaxing massage (it includes the 10 step hydrotherapy) while my friend hit the gym. We both loved our experience (jet skiing, lounging around the pool).

Cons: The only thing that was a bit pricey was the breakfast buffet (not worth it if you’re stuffed after 3 pancakes) but the choice and variety of food was amazing

Pros: Amazing trip. This resort goes the extra mile. The little things that make it exceptional. My only recommendation is that they have more than 1 restaurant choice for breakfast than the buffet. There are many restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner, adding breakfast would be the one addition to make this resort the very BEST. Otherwise, facility was clean, convenient, impeccable service, cabanas are very worth the price. Comes with 20 min foot massage, omg!!! Also bathroom products are better than any other resorts. Molton Brown!! They just go the extra mile-live AQUA!!!

Cons: The hotel was under renovation. No one at the check in mentioned anything about it and put up in a room directly under it.

Pros: Everything was beyond amazing. The atmosphere wows you the minute you step into the lobby to check-in. Jazmin & Donny made me feel truly special & cared for with drinks & accommodations right away! The location was amazing (rights across from a mall so convenient) & the resort itself has something for everyone ! The food/ drinks & top notch service could not be beat ! Never without a drink or activity at hand. We will absolutely be returning :)

Cons: Only complaint - the vacation rewards presentation (it’s optional) . Took up a good chunk of our last morning even though we were repeatedly told it would only be 30 minutes. Don’t agree to one if you’re not looking to invest money - beware .

Pros: -*** Staff are kind, except the ones who are trying to sell you extra vacation packages -*** Pool was nice and relaxing

Cons: -*** They try to sell you vacation packages. Several times we went to the lobby to ask general questions about tours, restaurants, etc, but they told us we have to participate in a 45 minutes Sales event during our stay. This is awful for a 5 star hotel that every time guests are asking concierge related questions, they force us to sit in 45 minute presentation regarding some sort of vacation property Sales event. This has to change!!!!! (we were even scared to go to lobby to ask more questions because if they find you, they will not let you go at all. -*** Not much variation in food, restaurants on site are mostly closed due to their schedule or repair. -*** Restaurant schedule they gave us was different than actual schedule. -*** Rooms are so noisy and walls are thin. You can hear conversations of the next door room. -*** Shower would be very low pressure, sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for the water to come back up.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great food and employees.

Pros: I LOVE THE FACT THE HOTEL WAS RECENTLY BUILT AND IS VERY POSH. LOVE THE DECOR THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL. THERE ARE 3 MALLS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET WHICH MADE IT CONVENIENT TO GET SLIP AWAY FOR SITESEEEING.

Cons: ALL STAFF WAS KIND, HELPFULL AND PLEASANT except FOR "JOSE" LOCATED NEAR THE SEAFOOD DINER. HE WAS RUDE AND UNATTENTIVE MOST OF MY TIME THERE.

Pros: The rooms are nice, modern, clean and beautiful. The rest of the hotel and the service do not match.

Cons: We had high expectations for this resort: many review sites rate describe it as one of the most luxurious and modern hotels in Cancun Riviera. It did not meet our expectations at all. The check-in process was long. We arrived at 2.30pm (official check in at 3pm) and were asked to wait around the property. When we returned at almost 4pm, it still took some time to give us the key. Then we got stuck in an elevator. There were no towels at the pool. The barmen at the bar were quite rude. The bar looked dirty and unpleasant. Drinks are cheap. Overall service was very poor (except for the doormen and valet - these guys were excellent). We ended up leaving the property within 1.5 hours, in frustration. It almost ruined our vacation. We are used to the quality of the Ritz, Hyatt and Four Seasons; this hotel may be good for another clientele but we do not recommend it.

Cons: The paid restaurant, paid Cabanas These should be visible to guests while booking a room online as you are booking an all-inclusive hotel. However other hotels do this as well even worse.

Pros: Staff was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Property was very clean, everything felt well maintained and the room was spotless. For an all inclusive the food was surprisingly good, breakfast at pelicans was great and we never had an issue waiting for a table at any of the restaurants

Cons: A movie was being shot during the entirety of our stay which caused the beach to be mostly covered by the movie set. The hotel did not alert us in advance or tell us when we even got to the hotel and checked in. We were inconvenienced during our whole stay, having to stay out of the way and having restricted beach and ocean access. They also told us they only served alcohol 11am to 11pm but then that didn’t end up being totally right. Don’t stay here if you want a very lively nightlife, it all shuts down by 1130pm.

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel, I am picky I grow up in the grounds of a wonderful all inclusive compliments to my mother’s job....Thanks Mom. So it’s hard to impress me....and I am impressed......Thanks guys....I will be back.

Pros: Everyone was amazing ! The food was delicious , we had a lot of variety to choose from. The drinks were great , they had top shelf drinks that you can just request for . The staff was professional and very attentive. I am beyond pleased and happy.

Cons: Everything was perfect , the only down side was that they were filming a movie on site so I feel Like I didn't get to fully appreciate the resorts lobby area .

Cons: Jacuzzi not working and light problem. Poor quality of free alcoholic beverage. Very hot opened reception. Arrived at 2am, keys didn't work and I had to change 3 times to an other bedroom.

Pros: When you enter the place is amazing beautiful from when you walk in. Staff very nice and helpful. Food was amazing we tried to eat in all restaurants but didnt stay for too long. They have night entertainment which is pleasing to watch. By 5ish the sun starts setting due the building covering so get your tan on early.

Cons: Check in is exactly at 3. We got in really early and had to wait. Im sure if it wasnt busy they would have been able to check us in early but that was the only bad thing. Bathrooms do need to be updated. It was a bit confusing when it came to operating the shower.

Pros: Huge place. Even though they were completely booked the hotel never looked crowded. Staff was amazing! Pool party was also lit! The food was okay. My wife and I stay in the swim up suite and again it was amazing!!

Cons: Other than the hotel manager telling me she going to call the cops on me. Everything was okay.

Cons: We had booked our stay for four nights looking for a relaxing getaway. The first morning we walked into the lobby we could not move-there were people everywhere, cameras, cameramen. The entire lobby and central bar was off limits to the guests at the resort. This went on from 6:30 am until bedtime. We had no clue what was going on, and had to ask someone at the hotel who then told us they were filming a movie there. We were not told this when we checked into our room the day before. We could not access the front door, front desk or enjoy the lobby's seating and the main bar. We were very inconvenienced for the entire day and had to walk around the outskirts of the resort to get from the pool to the restaurant. On our last two days, they moved the filming of the movie to the beach and resort's pool. We were not allowed to use half of the pool and they occupied a good portion of the cabanas that were there for guests whom paid to stay at this place. We have to sacrifice our comfort for the movie. There were people everywhere, moving furniture around by the pool while we were trying to swim. If I had known this prior to my trip, I would not have stayed here, as it wasn't as relaxing as a vacation should be!!! I spoke to the staff about this and they offered a free upgrade next time I come. Unfortunately I would not spend the money to come back, so therefore that is useless to me. They did not offer ANY compensation for the money we spent only to be inconvenienced by the movie crew and props and loud noises all over the resort. I find it very unprofessional that we were not made aware of this prior to coming on our trip or even at check-in, nor were any of the other guests.

Cons: I checked into your hotel in Cancun late afternoon on Thursday, went directly to the pool and dinner came back and the temperature in the room was 76°. I hadn’t noticed previously because I hadn’t spent any time in the room. I set the temperature down to 65 and went to bed hoping the room would cool overnight. When we woke up it was still 76 and we immediately called the front desk for maintenance. We waited for him to arrive instead of enjoying sleeping in on our last vacation day. He determined it would take 2 to 3 hours to repair the AC. The front desk called & I simply requested a free breakfast for the two of us as a amicable solution to having spent our time in a room with little to no AC. We were offered to switch of rooms at 10 AM , but we were checking out in only a couple hours so it was really pointless to pack up, move to another room, unpack and then repack to check out. The front desk said they would get back to us about the free breakfast, but didn’t & after waiting 20 minutes I contacted them again, they offered one breakfast not two. I requested to at least get the two breakfasts as I wasn’t even going to purchase another breakfast, they said they would call me back in five minutes.15 minutes later with no return call I contacted them again, they again said let me get back to you in 5 to 10 minutes to see if we can give you the second breakfast. When I didn’t hear back by 10:30, (breakfast ends at 11) and we are already spent our entire morning trying to resolve this irritating situation, we went to breakfast assuming that surely they would give us two breakfasts for having a room with no AC and we had the two breakfast, then went to the front desk who informed me all I was getting was 50% off my breakfast. I think for a four-star hotel this experience was inexcusable & petty.

Pros: The beach was the cleanest in the area - better than with more expensive hotels which had some seaweed at their beaches

Pros: The food here is really good. Wish there would have been a bit more attention to service on the beach. The pool side bar was also very slow to get us drinks even when there were only 4 or 5 people sitting at the bar.

Pros: The beach of hotel is very good and area is the best. It’s close to centre of zona hotelera. Rooms are wide and clean. There is a good cafe who’s name is urban we had breakfast, it was delicious. You should try to stay.

Cons: The corridor which go to rooms is so long.

Cons: The front people provided very bad service and attitude, the manager Alberto very bad and cheap attitude, hotel wasn't available for a day pass, access for handicap very poor in the hotel not enough ramps. To much money paid for such a bad experience in Grand Park Royal Cancun it makes you feel very unwelcome.

Cons: It’s definitely dated and needs some major renovations. They were hosting 450 high school graduates which made for a bad stay for me and my friends. We get it, we were 18 once too but they hotel should have told us or warned us during booking. We actually tried to check out but the hotel refused to refund us our money so we were stuck there. The food was probably the worst hotel food I’ve ever eaten. The pizza place was the best which is pretty sad to say. They advertise as “all inclusive” but we were charged for ordering wine to our room which is ridiculous given we had a swim up pool and wanted to enjoy it. All in all the management was rude, the hotel is old, and the food was not good. I felt like I got ripped off and taken advantage of. I love Cancun and every time we left the resort we had a great time. Coming back to the hotel was a buzz kill for sure.

Cons: Noisy by the pool. People smoking in the pool. Very noisy neighbours. Others were given a welcome & orientation but for some reason I wasn’t. Management promised a bottle of bubbles for my birthday but after asking 3 seperate times I gave up

Pros: The Hotel was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. The buffet meals were really beautiful as well as restaurants. Activities arranged by hotel staff were so much fun. Tours were arranged by Expedia who have a desk at hotel. The snorkelling tour took us to 3 different Cenotes and we snorkelled through caves as well as cliff jumped and zip lined. Pools at the hotel were warm and the ocean was warm and crystal clear with a lifeguard. This hotel exceeded all expectations.

Pros: Everything was amazing! All the staff were amazing, except check in boy. Restraunts are amazing and great service! Bell boys are super amazing and very friendly. Room service was great and loved how polite they were.

Cons: Checking in was horriable! After traveling 8 hours and having a young man that seemed very irritable and didn't seem he liked his job to much, was a little frustrating. We received nothing paper wise or conversation about things to do or any info about the resort. No towel cards, maps, agenda paper, nothing!! Just a room key. Check out was good. Thank goodness it was a different person. Not really any activities at night though.

Pros: Had a great time hotel was beautiful and food was amazing.

Cons: Wish there was more options for not using the stairs. Hurt my knee was having trouble climbing so many stairs.
