Everything was perfect
There’s nothing I didn’t like
The location The bed
No hot water The dinner not good, not enough choice
The staff was professional and friendly. Upon arrival, they decorated the room in celebration of my partner's bday--beautiful!
toilet was broken
Location was central to clubs- which were very expensive. Food was good.
They have a real problem with seaweed -every morning from 5am - 9am tractors raked the beach and collected tons - I really mean tons of seaweed off the beach -which stunk like the sewers of Bangkok. This didn't help as the sea was just full of seaweed so it was like swimming in a sea of cabbage -we didn't bother. We went to another hotel down the coast for the second week it was the same there. This hotel seems to attract the tattoo yob brigade from Britain and South America. Clubs around there charge about £40 to get in and you can drink as much as you like - they also don't get started till 10pm so you can imagine what time the low life get back to the hotel slamming room doors at all hours at night - the rooms only have thin partitioning walls - not solid ones so all the rooms around shake when this happens. Everything in Cancun is so expensive - priced in US dollars - it really is RIP the tourist off. There are theme parks down the coast but each one is over £100 per person to get in. These parks and the temples also have two rates to get in - one for the tourist and one for the locals which is about half the price. Discrimination is always OK in these third world countries when its the foreigners who are being discriminated against. Africa and China do the same. The heat and humidity of Mexico is not for me - you feel drained just walking out in it. When you did go out to shops or site seeing you get hassled, every body you come in contact with is on the make- as one guy in a flea market said " come to my shop so we can rip you off" I've now been - wont be back - my advice is just get the travel video and watch it.
