Pros (+) The breakfast buffet was wonderful!
Cons (-) Some of the rooms are ridiculously small and feel damp. The people who clean did not always do a complete job and did not refill the fridge as asked.

Pros (+) Our beach front room was always kept very clean, great view, spacious. The staff was always willing to help, super nice and friendly. The included in your stay breakfast was above expectations. Also the hotel is very close to the center. I'd recommend this hotel to my friends. Five stars! I'll for sure come back.

Pros (+) Complimentary wi-fi. Centrally located--within walking distance to restaurants/shopping. A bus stop right outside the hotel takes you to downtown in under 10 minutes. Beach front. Friendly staff. Modern rooms. Good breakfast.
Cons (-) Construction is going on next door and they work well past midnight--can hear the use of heavy machinery in one of the two rooms I booked. Sheets had stains. Both rooms had a strong odor coming from the drain in the shower. The bar, restaurants, and room service only accept credit/debit as a form of payment, You can hear everything in the hallway from the room.

Pros (+) The location was excellent. You can easily walk to several shopping centers nearby (or take the city bus, which stops just outside of the hotel). The staff was always courteous and helpful. The view from my room was beautiful and there was live music at the beachfront restaurant every night. I sat on my balcony and relaxed while listening to the music each night. I highly recommend NYX!
Cons (-) There was no hot water for the shower or sink. This led to some very chilly showers on the days I had to wake up at 4 a.m. or 5 a.m. This didn't bother me, but I was on the 6th floor and there's no elevator so be prepared to potentially get a workout.

Pros (+) We were promptly checked in at our 6pm arrival. The room we were assigned had wet tile floors, the smell of mold and visible mold stains on the bathroom walls. We were given a different room that was bigger in a better location. Unfortunately, this room had worse mold than the first room. Pros (+) Staff is friendly enough, not overly friendly but not rude either. Lots of Europeans, which is fun. Food is decent. For the price is was worth it. LOVE dining on the beach every night by candle light.
Cons (-) Get the all inclusive package! If not they will nickel and dime you for everything including a glass of water. I would go back but only as an all inclusive. Alot of smokers.... And they didn't use an ashtray but not the resort's fault.

Pros (+) I liked the building. It is beautiful. The beach front pool and restaurants are great with life music. It is a clean place. If you like to take photos, this place lends for great backgrounds
Cons (-) The worst part... the only time i used my debit card was in the lobby ATM.. When I returned from my trip, charges starting appearing from Mexico, Dubai, and other countries! My bank is great so I'm not even concerned, other then I am without a debit card for one week. By the way.. $2k in charges, yes, they went all out. Pros (+) Malls within resonable walking distance in both directions.
Cons (-) The basic room in which we stayed desperately needs a renovation. The room didn't have a working safe, as the lock was broken, and the fridge didn't cool either.
