For restrictions that apply to vaccinated visitors, please check the official guidelines from the Turks and Caicos Islands for the types of accepted and permitted COVID-19 vaccinations, requirements on proof of vaccination certificates, vaccination validity period, and persons and/or groups that may be exempt from vaccination restrictions.
Unvaccinated travelers are not allowed to enter Turks and Caicos. Travelers who are medically unable to take a vaccine must upload proof of this to the TCI Assured Portal. Entry restrictions do not apply to returning Turks and Caicos citizens and residents, travelers under the age of 16 and travelers who are fully vaccinated. Temperature screening is required for all travelers on arrival.
Visitors from South Africa must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departing to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Unvaccinated visitors from South Africa will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Travelers are required to complete a pre-travel authorization form at least 24 hours before departure to Turks and Caicos. <p>Travelers are required to include a negative COVID-19 test taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Turks and Caicos, as well as valid travel insurance in their pre-travel authorization form. Travelers without authorization will not be permitted to board a flight to the Turks and Caicos.</p>
Travelers are required to have valid health insurance with COVID-19 coverage (medical costs, full hospitalization, doctors’ visits, prescriptions, air ambulance). Travelers are required to submit proof of their insurance in their pre-travel authorization form.
Travellers returning from the Turks and Caicos Islands must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to South Africa.
Visitors returning from the Turks and Caicos Islands are not required to quarantine upon entering South Africa.
