They put in a pickup location 15 miles from the airports rental area. After finding out it wasn’t there i had to spend $34 to Uber to this particular Hertz site. Day of departure i have to drive the car back to the Unopened facility, drop off car, hide keys in the trunk, then spend $34 to Uber back to airport. It was a fiasco and i will never let kayak.com “pick” my rental car facility again.

So, in the future, I won't be renting from Kayak as I was looking for a rental from the airport, and the idiots at Kayak thought that a rental that was 30 minutes from the airport was just fine. Then changing the drop-off cost about $200. Just ridiculous.

The Hertz office was great. I had mistakenly booked this location instead of the airport location. The airport location had no extra cars available so they weren’t able to accommodate me, but the office on Bell Rd made the pickup & drop off experience very easy.

Tank was less than 3/4 full. Cargo area was very dirty. Nicolle did a good job with pickup and drop off. She should be commended.

Not having a car available upon arrival for advanced prepaid reservation without any communication is unacceptable. Phone customer support is terrible over 30minutes wait all the time to even try and talk to someone. The staff at the facility were very nice and tried to do everything they could to help but are not empowered or enabled to help. They could not even cancel my reservation or refund me.

The “extra” charges and fees, taxes , etc, are absurd. My prepaid tank of gas which was in the area of 44 $ became $72, and an additionss as l drive for four days @ $13.50/day turned into $272. The price gouging was absurd- a four day rental, with a prepaid voucher , was around $700. Key fob had dead battery, so I couldn’t open the car remotely and everything needed to be locked manually. and tire light kept going on.

They didn’t have a car for us when we got there, we had to go to the airport location to get a car and it cost another $250 in fees. Very unhappy w Hertz and their customer service.

Personnel at pickup wasnt very friendly, dont plan to leave the a vehicle on property overnight at this location while you rent a vehicle, they will tow it, glad I asked about it, that was never volunteered, vehicle had bugs on the front that were not washed off prior to rental, vehicle tire pressure light was on for no reason the whole time, keyfob was worn and didnt perform as expected consistently and vehicle only had 44k miles on it.
