Entry restrictions do not apply to current and former Filipino citizens and their children or spouses that are traveling with them, foreign nationals that have a valid and existing visa at the time of entry such as holders of SSRV, 9(a), Temporary Visitor’s Visas, and those permitted under previous IATF resolutions or the Balikbayan Program.
Visitors from South Africa are not required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test or antigen result upon entering the Philippines.

Unvaccinated travelers must book at least 10 days at an accredited quarantine hotel or facility at their own expense and must stay at a minimum of 7 nights while awaiting test results. Fully vaccinated travelers have a reduced quarantine of 7 days.
For fully vaccinated individuals who are identified as close contacts of probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases, they may undergo a shortened 7-day quarantine period provided they remain asymptomatic for the entire 7 days. In the event that RT-PCR Test needs to be performed, it may be done not earlier than the 5th day after the date of the last exposure.
Travellers returning from the Philippines must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to South Africa.
