Test type

Visitors from South Africa must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 48 hours before departing to Morocco.

Travelers under the age of 11 are exempted from this requirement.

Quarantine requirements

Unvaccinated visitors from South Africa will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Morocco.

Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.

Quarantine requirement does not apply to travelers who are fully vaccinated. Travelers must quarantine at a place designated by the government. They must take a PCR test on day 9 of quarantine. Returning citizens and residents must quarantine at home for 5 days and take a PCR or antigen test on day 5.

Travellers returning from Morocco must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to South Africa.

Details and exceptions
