Travelers are allowed to enter. fully vaccinated people should have a vaccination certificate that shows they have had the last dose of a vaccine no less than 3 weeks before arrival.
Unvaccinated visitors from South Africa must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to the Dominican Republic.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Visitors from South Africa are not required to quarantine after entering the Dominican Republic.
All foreign and Dominican passengers entering or leaving Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the free electronic entry and exit form, which combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. The form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian.

Visitors returning from the Dominican Republic are not required to quarantine upon entering South Africa.
