Pros: We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and enjoy some downtime before the holidays. Every detail is considered at this hotel. The staff were responsive, warm, and very accommodating. We stayed in a petite suite, loved the spa tub, rainfall shower, and plush, down king-sized bed. The Verses restaurant downstairs offers impeccable contemporary French fare, and Olive and Gourmando just down the street is perfect for fresh coffee and croissants in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and beautiful, cozy room! The shower was amazing, with the second rain shower overhead and the fireplace was perfect for the time of year (early April- about 0 degrees Celsius) my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the complementary water and chocolate brought to our door every day. It was a sweet touch. The location was convenient. A lot of great restaurants and site seeing nearby! And the metro is less than a 5 minute walk. What we probably appreciated the most was the concierge who sat right in the lobby, ready for our questions. We had many. Wanting to know the best places to eat and visit, even making reservations for a tour and dinner reservation. she was the best!

Pros: My family and I couldn't have been happier staying here. The room was great. Fit the 3 of us just fine. We had a king size bed and the staff brought up a folding twin for my daughter. The bathroom was fantastic. Giant deep tub, glass enclosed shower, and a separate room for the toilet. The bar/lounge/library down stairs was very nice. Their breakfast was fine. The staff was top notch. They are incredibly friendly and so willing to help make your stay memorable. They took care of booking tours, recommending restaurants, and booking our limousine back to the airport. The location in old Montreal couldn't have been better. It's on a quiet little street and just a short walk to everywhere. Next time I go back to Montreal I will be staying here for certain.

Pros: Perfectly located in a quiet street between Notre Dame and St Paul, with Metro close by. Welcoming design, relaxed open spaces and beautiful, modern large rooms which celebrate the original building. And truly great staff... Attentive, polite and charming, which meant the one small 'issue' was dealt with gracefully, efficiently and with good humour. This is a wonderful base for a fabulous city. Loved it.

Pros: Having stayed in two other hotels of the same category in Montreal over the same week my favourite is Le Saint-Sulpice. The staff in all three places was equally friendly. Where Le Saint-Sulpice is coming in first is the equipment and the feel of privacy and comfort transported by the suites. The kitchenette is fully equipped, a decent bottle of wine readily available. The living room is spacious. The covers comfortable. The bath is nicely lit. It is equipped with high quality fixtures and care products. Did not try breakfast so I can´t comment on it.

Pros: I love their comforter and pillows so much, that I remembered to stay there again, even though the last time I stayed was maybe 12-13 years ago. This despite the fact that I've tried 4 Seasons and other luxury hotels. This is the only one that left an impression. Great restaurant - tried it for dinner and breakfast. The only negative is the (free) WIFI - connection was difficult, convoluted, and unreliable.

Bilingual staff is very friendly and helpful, refurbished rooms are well done -- very comfy beds including the sofa-bed if you need it, lots of electrical outlets to charge your toys, good lighting, free wifi throughout that works well. The on-site restaurant offers a good variety at very fair prices -- including a great breakfast buffet.

Pros: Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we had heard some concerns about night time noise, the hotel was quiet during our stay. The pool was lovely as ever, and a hot tub has been added since our last stay. The water temperature was just right in both pool and hot tub. Lockers for your clothes are free. The exercise room is nice. The duck pond was fun to watch.

Pros: The Bonaventure is a rather unusual hotel, built in a very late 20th century modern style on the top 2 floors of an office/convention center building. Its rooms are laid out in a ring, surrounding a center lobby area with a bar and restaurant, year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a pond with ducks. Rooms are sleek and modern in a 1960-70s way, but comfortable and updated with firm beds and very nicely sized bathrooms. The rooms are very quiet, The ring layout means that there is minimal hallway noise and the hotel is high enough and with thick enough windows that there is almost no street noise (and many rooms face inner courtyards instead of the street). Staff and service are friendly and efficient, without being intrusive. Bonaventure isn't super-deluxe, but it is a welcoming, calming, and unique experience.

Pros: Location, location, location. On a quiet side street in the heart of Montreal. 10 minute walk to the Vieux Port, adjacent to the Quartier Latin. Less than a block to the Metro and within easy walk to numerous excellent dining options. Hot breakfast included in the rate only further enhances the tremendous value represented by this hotel.

Pros: Thank you Kayak for making a stay here affordable! We loved the location and the room (though a little dated) was huge, comfortable and very clean! They gave us 2 complimentary drinks and breakfast was included. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Joey at check in, never would have guessed he was new. Bernard our wait staff at supper-never would have guessed he was called in and was swamped because he took great care of us. And our omelette creator was amazing. Hilton all of your hotels can use Montréal Embassy Suites as their example.

Pros: The service was A+!! They were so speedy to help in any way possible. Super helpful and polite and quick to jump in for any need. They were fluent in French and English and always helped with a smile. We felt very welcomed and were greeted with a hello and goodbye each time we passed the front desk. The room was incredibly comfortable for the two of us up on the penthouse floor. We loved the bed and the view!

Pros: Overall the Hotel Staff made up for the deficiency. The complimentaries were not up to standard with the basic complimentaries offered in other Hotels. Some basics like fridge and microwave require extra funds and they dont come cheap. Overall, the staff were nice, warm and willing to assist in any way possible. I'll stay here again if in Montreal, although I'll have to call to ensure the basics are provided without extra cost before my arrival.

Pros: There is free coffee at the front desk and in the rooms. The rooms themselves were fairly decent with comfy beds, free wifi, and a mini fridge (empty, but useful for leftovers). The hotel also offers parking in their garage for about $22/day, where we left our car for the weekend, walking everywhere, except for 1 late night, round trip on the metro (too cold to walk all the way to the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood of the city). There is a station just behind the hotel a bit.

I wasn't spending my nights in Montreal with my husband and I in separate beds nor crammed in a double bed. The front desk clerk gave us a free upgrade to a suite which is probably why I was happy.

Pros: The staff was very polite and helpful, especially Eric at the front desk. The room we were given was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Our suite had s full living room, a dining room table, refrigerator/freezer combo, one and a half baths, and an incredible shower. Everything was newly renovated and gorgeous. It was also only a short walk to the Bell Centre and Old Montreal and a short cab ride to some fantastic restaurants.
