The room was not ready at 3 and little was done besides a drink ticket- that turned out not to be usable for my drink. Awesome. Room was dated, including a wet spot on the carpet that didn't dry over 2 days, and the body wash in the shower was empty. The property is older but well maintained. The heating/air conditioning system is so old that there is no automatic temperature regulation. It has to be manually switched from heat to cool for the entire facility. During a warm spell, the air conditioning was not working. Had to open a small window for air. Pros (+) Beautiful hotel, attentive and pleasant staff, large rooms (mostly nice views), nice heated outdoor pool and fitness room. Centrally located - Peel Metro Station is only one block away. Lovely lounge. Reasonable valet parking rate. Excellent breakfast offering in hotel cafe. Our first choice for accommodations when visiting Montreal. Great for business trips, but also family-friendly!
