I didn’t like that they charge an extra 25$ per adult for the pool as they are saying that while booking online it doesn’t include it in the price. But I have stayed in this hotel previously and have always made a reservation online and no one ever asked me to pay an extra fee for the pool.
Great view of the pool and garden and right between Old-Montreal and Downtown.
Noisy shower fan that would start by itself, room too bright during the night due to the lighted mirror switch, toilet would bang on the wall every time you get up, old fan noise from air conditioning unit. Been here a lot and can't say things are improving.
The pool was always very dirty. I felt ripped off being charged 25$ a day for using the pool.
Exterior depressing-weathered grey cement walls- prison-like. Interior-Foyer coop. Liked the swinging chairs, glass windows and upscale vibe to foyer. Rooms okay-missing European edge. Needed warm lighting/halogens. Hallways dismal- out tropical plants
location to restaurants and shopping
We had a non-smoking room, however there was a constant smell of cigarettes, especially in the middle of the night . This is a very large hotel & our room was a long way from the entrance making carrying luggage and bags difficult.
